WHOLESOME STAYS AND THE SMELL OF WEED
Wholesome Stays have various properties that they let out to “professionals”. We live next door to their rental house in Failsworth Manchester M35 and since the summer of 2025 and up to now November 2025, they have been renting the rooms out in the house to people who are smoking weed inside and outside of the house. My daughter lives next door to this smell along with her 15 month baby girl and the smell comes into her house. My daughter has contacted the owner of this company Wholesome Stays to complain about him renting to people who are smoking weed on his premises. I personally spoke with him earlier this year when he was stood at the front door of his rental house and he assured me he only rented to “professional contractors” and that he has a strict no drugs rule for renting the house. This has proven to be false because almost every week and weekend, there are different people arriving to the house followed by the smell of weed. He also claimed it was not an Air B&B but it actually does seem to be one as especially at the weekends the people renting don’t appear to be “professional contractors”. Also, when you look on the Wholesome Stays website, there is no way of contacting the company, which is not professional and when I had initially approached the owner to talk with him about his rental house, he was defensive and and had the attitude that he’d had complaints previously about his properties. The street the house is in is a quiet family street and now we have vans and cars parked up on the pavement making it difficult to walk by with a pram or disabled walker. We have strangers arriving every other week who do not interact and then there is the noise and weed smell.
