Wilderness Scotland
Wilderness Scotland was an outstanding experience. Booking was easy and the information on the trip was spot on. Difficulty levels appropriate.
Preparation for the trip was thorough and updates and reminders helpful.
The guide was experienced, knowledgeable and pleasant to interact with.
Accommodations were very comfortable and the food was excellent.
Wilderness Scotland is top notch!
Wilderness Scotland is my go to travel company and I plan to use them every year! Their staff are extremely knowledgeable, quick to respond, down to earth in their responses. Last year they gave me great advice for hiking the West Highland Way. This year they helped me pin down an adventure I would like and consulted on some gear questions I had. I trust their advice and gradings when choosing a hike I can manage in this beautiful country. This year I attended a small group trip and the guide was top notch, passionate, extremely knowledgeable, funny and we'll versed in history, culture, nature...you name it! I learned and got to see so much in a few days. See you guys next year!
Amazing Activities, Lovely Winter Retreat
I very much enjoyed the Winter Retreat, the selection of activities, the level of professionalism of the instructors and our guide was well beyond my expectation. There has been enough space, time in between the activities to allow free time. It was just what a Retreat needs, quiet time, space for relfection and very good company. I also appreciated the flexibility to adjust, adapt to the needs of the Group. The Lodge was very comfortable, the food at Ballintean was amazing!
Every bit of the trip was five stars
Every bit of the trip was five stars. Our guide was knowledgable about every bit of history, the country, hiking, etc., but was extremely professional and accommodating, all while keeping us coordinated and safe as a small group. The accommodations were first rate and the food…..can’t wait to book another one of their trips.
I'd go with Wilderness Scotland again in a heartbeat
Super organized and helpful staff in planning; fantastic guide and pace of the trip; great accommodations, food, activities. Perfect all around.

Wonderful trip through Scotland. Paul and a well informed and accommodating guide. Great hotels and beautiful scenery. Thanks for a fantastic trip.
Great company all around
Great company all around. Attention to detail, professional, well planned and nice people. Traveled two times with Wilderness Scotland and look forward to more in the near future.
Our first hiking trip
Our first hiking trip! Our guide was very knowledgeable and helpful. The accommodations were superb and our daily hikes were well planned and breathtaking.

Speyside Walk is Fabulous!
We had a fabulous trip walking the Speyside Way in Scotland. As promised all our accommodation was setup and our luggage was transported from place to place. All we had to do was walk and enjoy the beautiful scenery. There was a bit of a communication disconnect at the beginning as to where we had to be and when but when we alerted them to it they fixed it right away. The itinerary they created was very helpful as was the packing list, and most of the accommodation choices were great.
Well organized
Well organized, quality lodgings and food, great hiking guide: two thumbs up!
Excellent itinerary and accommodation
Excellent itinerary and accommodation! Outstanding guide! Highly recommend!
Skye time
This was a lovely trip with great travel mates and an experienced and knowledgeable guide. I had read a lot beforehand, but was glad to have an actual journey through the natural history, habitat, geology, human history and politics, and the present light and landscape of Skye. For my part, I wished I had been a little more fit and prepared, but I am grateful for time spent on Skye.

Guide took us on gorgeous hikes that were well maintained but were not crowded.
Bridgett was extremely helpful
Bridgett was extremely helpful in answering our questions and taking care of a switch in our plans. We really looked forward to receiving emails from Wilderness Scotland that gave on clothing suggestions and told us about Skye’s crazy weather. Addition emails inspired us to learn more about Skye: local craftpeople, Scottish music, wildlife and birds, geology. Each week or a new interesting email would arrive. We really appreciated this.
I keep coming back
Another fantastic holiday with Wilderness Scotland - fantastic walks, great accommodation and food, and none of the organisational hassle!
Trip of a lifetime
A very well organized and thoughtfully planned trip!
Everything went smoothly:hikes, tours, hotels, meals and the guide could not have been better!
Well Organized Adventure
The daily travel distances were appropriate. Most hotel choices were very good. The staff of Wilderness Scotland were very responsive to my queries. Two small points to consider; a bit more flexibility for extending or modifying the trip once underway. I found the last few days to be a bit compressed. The second point concerns our final stop, nice hotel but the small, noisy room was a disappointment. All in all the overall experience of this adventure was very good,
Awesome Autumn in Perthshire!
We enjoyed our guided Autumn in Perthshire tour very much! Our guide Ramsay was excellent in all respects, as was our centrally located accommodation at the Grandtully--comfortable and with delicious food. The walks were beautiful and as desceibed, easy to moderate. We also can recommend Wilderness Scotland's self-guided tours.
