Wilderness Travel is an outstanding travel company, bar none. I would not travel with any other company - their staff goes above and beyond to make sure every trip you take with them is extraordinary. From boutique hotels, local fresh cuisine, and knowledgeable guides Wilderness Travel had carefully crafted every trip I have taken. In my experience, i was more than a tourist -I was immersed in and learning about the local history, culture and natural surroundings.

Wilderness Travel also limits the size of each group so my experience has been both intimate and stimulating with everyone sharing their perceptions and insights.

It can't get any better than this! Wilderness Travel is the only company to use if you want to get to unique locations and get to know them well.

I've just started to travel more and have thoroughly enjoyed the trips I have taken with Wilderness Travel. They have a great office staff that are attentive to your travel needs and any changes that need to be made. Their guides are knowledgeable and personable. The trips have had well planned itineraries and options for everyone and every activity level. The food is always extraordinary and again, catered to specific needs, if necessary.

I would definitely use them again and again and again!

We have taken multiple trips to every part of the world with Wilderness. The experience is uniformly great--we see and do wonderful things, the logistics are seamless, and the guides are wonderful people and passionate about their countries.

Wilderness Travel is a premier organization that takes excellent care of its' clients. Guides food, accommodations- are above first class. Trip groups are small and I highly recommend them!

From the beginning to the end of our trip to the Galapagos via a stay over in Quito, we were personally taken care of and our experiences from day to day were very enriching. Our naturalist guide was more than knowledgeable and personable and catered to each person's particular interests.

The trip to Raja Ampat was a highlight of my year of travel. The snorkeling was the best I ever did, due not only to the incredible beauty of the seas, but as to our guides. Life aboard the schooner was comfortable, with en suite bathrooms, fresh food prepared for each meal, and a crew who were extremely accommodating. I'd do it again and again, were it not for the long flights to and from Indonesia.

Best group trip I've ever been on. Great guides, good weather for the most part. The folks in the office provided all the info we needed to be well prepared for the trip and the guides gave us daily updates and suggestions to prepare for each day's adventure. Fabulous trip.

My husband & I traveled to the Galapagos to celebrate our 30 year wedding anniversary. We were on the BEAUTIFUL ship Passion in their VIP/Master Suite! EVERYTHING about the trip was perfect from our amazing Trip Leader, Juan, who knew everything about the flora, the fauna, and the culture of the Galapagos, to the exquisite food freshly prepared and served topside to the beautiful sunsets. Highlights for me were the penguins literally swimming inches below my feet to the sea lions frolicking over and around my flippers to the truly unique land tortoises. The biomass of all the animals, fish and sea creatures was breathtaking. Every day was an adventure! I HIGHLY recommend this trip!

WT was thorough in planning our trip, covered all the bases. Listened to our recommendations if we would have changed anything and referred us to other providers when they could not make certain things happen

We have traveled extensively and at all levels in Africa, and despite having done high end tent camping safaris previously the one we experienced with WT is the one we'll remember. You really couldn't imagine anything more beautifully organized, well thought through, and staffed by the most knowledgeable and genuinely warm guides we have ever had the pleasure to meet. Five stars isn't enough. WT is in a class by itself.

Exploring the South Island of New Zealand on a hiking trip was the best way to be introduced to this beautiful country. The hiking sometimes challenging, beautiful, exhilarating and fun. I met new friends and we are planning a future Wilderness Travel trip together. Also, our local guides were honest, good natured, handy as our "Chaos Catering" team, and knowledgeable. I think about this trip often and how much I enjoyed it.

Their attention to detail is what sets them apart from other travel companies and makes them such an amazing company. No matter where you are in the world, or how far removed from civilization you are they ensure you are comfortable and enjoying your adventure. Traveling with Wilderness has become a family tradition as many of my family members are now dedicated customers who will never look for another group to travel with.
