Love the product. Ordered the Paleo bundle. Half way through it. All very tasty. Small nit -- would like to see nutritional info included on all packages.

Excellent quality but the flavor is not quite as tasty as bison from WIld T Bison in Haynesville VA. Thank you for offering this wonderful healthy choice of meat!

I really very much like the products (& i deliberately chose several different cuts) & DEFINITELY would recommend this company's products. My only recommendation to anyone ordering from any distance away (& this is something I'll also do next order) is to request better packaging for shipment. Much of the lower part of my order was thawed & because at least one package was leaking, all of the other packages, the unsealed large plastic bag holding all individual packs & the interior of the shipping box itself were covered in blood; just enough to be a mess, not a disaster. The dry ice bag was, as is normal, empty & only 2 frozen "ice" packs were present at the top of the box. I'd recommend getting rid of the filler paper (it didn't even absorb much of the blood); adding ice packs in the middle of the shipment box; maybe even dumping the dry ice & going with those ice packs alone; double bagging the whole order in the large plastic bags AND sealing their tops in case of leakage; and definitely keep the styrofoam interior - it not only helped with keeping the items cold but also minimized the amount of blood that got through to the outside cardboard box. Seriously though people, I'll definitely order again :)

The only complaint compared to others prices a little higher.

Last week I received my order of buffalo steaks, even though I have a few left in the freezer. Perish the thought of running out! I shop the sales and take advantage of FREE SHIPPING! Ordering is easy, shipping is prompt.

My shipment was sent frozen and on time. I tried the marinade for flank steak from Eating Well Magazine
After 4 hours in marinade barbecued over Mesquite wood. Results fantastic, juicy delicious dinner!!

I'm yet to order anything from Wild Idea that my family and myself haven't loved.

My Dad and his wife both read "Buffalo for the Broken Heart" and decided they wanted to try naturally raised buffalo (until just a few years ago, Dad was a subsistence hunter, processed the meat himself, and always had venison in the freezer, and I think he misses that). As I needed a gift for Dad's birthday, I researched where I could get him some buffalo meat from animals that were raised in their natural environment, and without antibiotics and steroids, etc. As I hadn't read the book myself, had only heard about it from Dad and Lu, and didn't even know its title, I didn't know at the time that this was the author's retail site. But I liked what I found on the site as far as how the animals were raised and how the meat was processed, and I liked the selection available. Ordering was easy. The package arrived exactly when it said it would and was packaged so that it was still frozen, which was a good thing, as the weather was extremely hot when it was delivered. Dad and Lu were thrilled to get to try meat from the Wild Idea Buffalo Co. (and I was happy that I had, albeit unknowingly, ended up selecting to order from the place they had read about!). They are raving about how delicious their buffalo meals have been. Thanks for helping me give Dad a great birthday present - you are now my official go-to place for Dad's future gifts!

I was amazed at how quickly I received the stew meat I ordered. Cooked it up the other day - and soooo good!!! Freezing it for Swedish visitors the end of Sept.! Really good price on their meats and lots of variety in cuts. Researched other websites, and this is the BEST - all-around!

So far everything I have ordered is exceptional. We love the ground buffalo, my husband says it tastes like steak. Even the hotdogs and breakfast sausage are amazingly good. The filets are best I have ever had. Even the sirloin is tender and very yummy! You can't go wrong with any of the meat, everything is sooo good. We are customers for life.

After being a 20 year vegan, I got really sick :( Suddenly I was allergic to all grains, nuts and beans! I needed to eat meat! The horror! I was vegan for moral issues but also for taste reasons. I simply did not like the taste of animals. Raised as a Midwest kid I only ever knew grocery store beef and chicken and I refused to eat it. My father would fish and hunt venison to provide some of our food growing up; I wasn't a fan of this meat either but I knew what "real" nature raised meat was. It has an unmistakeable deep ruby red hue, a richness to the muscle and no smell...just a clean, sweet aroma. So, due to my health issue I went on a quest to find the best quality meat available. In the meantime, I ate roadkill that our food bank processed but nobody wanted. Elk, Moose, Deer, etc. It was beautiful meat and I was happy to eat it; I felt a respect the animal that met such a grisly (and hopefully quick death) at the helm of a Chevy. It seems people were driving better and my source was drying up so I started researching...I am grateful to have found Wild Idea Buffalo. I placed an order after reading one of Dan's books, and learning about the company's honest methods.

If you haven't read Dan's work, you must. He has a rare gift not only for great writing but for respecting the buffalo he raises to such a high degree, it brings tears to your eyes. This guy is doing everything RIGHT and is a champion for all creatures great and small.

The meat. Excellent. Honestly, I did not expect to get such amazing quality meat but there it was; that rich ruby color and sweet aroma found only in a "nature raised" animal. It is hand's down, the highest quality buffalo meat you can purchase. It's priced very well, it's packed meticulously and arrives the next day.

I thank Wild Buffalo and everyone there for the efforts they put forth in creating such a high quality product. I wish it their philosophy would become the new normal. In the meantime, I send them mad, mad respect.

I always look forward to my order. It came still frozen. Had a steak already and it was so good. Been nibblingon the jerky. Everything is always so tasty. Thank you for having suchgreat products.

I am new to your product, but found that everything so far has been fantastic! The ordering process was simple, my order arrived early because I was due to receive he package on a holiday😀, and what I have tasted so far is great! I have not tried the actual buffalo yet, but the jerky was fantastic! The one problem I had was my own fault. I meant to order the sampler package and was liooming at all my options. I was going to add on the package of ground buffalo to the sampler pitentially and then decided I better try your product first. Well I accidentally ordered just the ground buffalo package instead of the sampler package. When we got it, my husband said, "all we got was ground meat". Right then I realized what I had done. But that's ok, I will order some steaks and roasts later. Aside from my own mistake, you guys have done an incredible job so far. Can't wait to dig into the ground buffalo!

I love buying my bison at Wild Idea, lots of choices and always delicious.
I love everything about this company, I wish there were more companies like them.
