I purchased summer sausage, chorizo, ground bison and kielbasa. Everything came solidly frozen. The summer sausage is wonderful. I grew up on Usinger's summer sausage and the bison sausage compares well and is nicely spiced. The chorizo is not to picante and has a nice earthy flavor. I made burgers with my favorite Thai recipe and they were great. I look forward to trying the kielbasa. I will try additional products in the future.

When I first heard about Wild Idea Buffalo I was intrigued. After seeing two documentaries regarding the work of Wild Idea Buffalo and having read Dan O'Brien's books about the effort I was never so satisfied in a product and supporting a company in my life. I love bison, prairies and the great Plains and try to do anything I can to help them. Wild Idea is doing all this. And by the way the bison meat is excellent. The best I have ever eaten. I now recommend Wild Idea Buffalo to it seems everyone I meet.

WOW, I just made the 1/3lb bison burgers on the grill.
The tip of brushing the cooked burger with olive oil and give them 30 more seconds was the bomb.. the char from grilling them gives them more flavor.

My grill must cook lower, because at 2.5 minutes per side made them med rare. I like medium. I would in the future cook 3 minutes per side.

My ordering was perfect, placed it on Wednesday received it on Friday, still frozen solid. I will order again. BEST packing for frozen products I have seen yet.

I have ordered from other online retailers and can purchase local buffalo in the many stores around The Dallas, Texas area and Wild Idea Buffalo is by far the best tasting. I have ordered more than once and it is always frozen solid when it arrives even here where our temperatures are in the 90's-100 often. We share with our daughter's family and they enjoy it also. A sister also orders from them and has had excellent results. If quality meat is important to your family I would not hesitate to order from Wild Idea Buffalo Company.

Wild Idea buffalo is pure and delicious. When I open a package, the meat smells sweet and inviting, never any "off" smells or tastes. Their website and customer service are also top quality. Because of the humane way they treat the animals and the freshness of the product, this is the only buffalo I ever eat.

Haven't tryd everything but what I've tryd is yummy.

I have placed three orders with Wild Idea over the last few years. The first order was received with everything I ordered. The last two orders were incomplete, and I had to ask for a refund.

I think the issue is someone in the shipping end of the operation does not double check on what is in the box. Also, I did not receive a shipping statement within the box. To me it would be a simple fix.
