Always a great experience at Wilkies. Took my daughter for her first eye test. It was at her pace, everything explained and staff were great. I’m a regular but always treated so well, all staff are so friendly, knowledgeable and I’d highly recommend the great service and very thorough eye tests and treatments.

As soon as you walk in staff offer you a friendly welcome. Desk staff are very efficient. Nicola, my optician is efficient and her friendly approach alleviates the stress of a visit to the opticians.

Jack in particular is incredibly good at his job! The kids love getting their eye tests done. He is very thorough and explains everything really well while making it a fun experience for them. Highly recommended & trusted local company.

Great customer service. I put my wedding ring in to be redone in white gold, it came back looking like new, and my necklace had broke so I put it in to be fixed. My necklace also came back like new.

It was a follow up appointment to check pressure in one of my eyes. Procedure was explained well and what was being checked for. Actual tests were completed without any fuss and the results were explained well

Spoke to receptionist regarding emergency consultation due to eye infection. The staff were brilliant and I spoke to Willis who was tremendous and provided excellent treatment. I’m now on the mend and it’s thanks to the excellent care at Wilkies .

Wilkies have been looking after my eye health for almost 50 years now and I have always found them to be reliable and efficient in the care of my eyesight. Both the professional and front of house staff are polite and thorough in performing their duties.

Much more a personal experience. Choice of quick appointment times. Optometrist was very pleasant, helpful, explained everything he was doing in understandable terms. Discussed all procedures in detail as well as the options available following his examination. Given my prescription and further review appointment in 12 months or before if any problems.
