Had an issue with my delivery and the customer service were quick to resolve the issue.

Sold an item by auction for the first time recently.
Simone and the team at William George have been excellent to deal with answering any questions I had straight away.
Will be using William George to buy and sell in the future.

Purchased a watch as a gift via a recent specialist auction at William George. Registration and payment were really simple. Contact with the seller was excellent. All in all, a very easy and enjoyable experience.

I would again like to thank Sarah for sorting out my complaint. I have not received the toilet but I have now had the money back in full. This has not been a good experience for my first time buying from an auction site. Hopefully if I do buy again it will be an easier process. Thank you William George Auctions for your patience and perseverance.

My pallet was received with missing items but Ellie quickly responded to my query and offered some money back as compensation.

I've had a couple of interactions with Sarah who has been very responsive. You hope that things go smoothly but inevitably sometime things go wrong and it is good to know that WG take customer service so seriously. Both queries were dealt quickly and efficiently and to my satisfaction.

Ellie was really helpful when enquiring about invoice. As a first time buyer I wasn't sure what to do after I had won a lot. Thank you Ellie. I look forward to receiving the goods.

Used to ebay but this is much more fun!! William George auctions (online) is great to use and there are some excellent bargains to be had. Just a word of warning, the added buyers premium, VAT etc and potentially delivery cost will in most cases cost more than the lot itself. make sure you include that into your calculations.

Having received my pallet with major items missing was the best way to experience my first time buying with WG (LW).
However, Sarah was extremely helpful and was able to deal with the matter professionally and efficiently. Great customer services!

Everything you could hope for from an auction company. They really do look after you from start to finish. I found every step of the process of buying via online auction with them to be simple and straightforward, and the after sales service was brilliant, and I would recommend them in a heartbeat.

I am an old hand at auctions, but have just done my first purchase at William George. I must say that the whole experience is a league above the usual auctions. all very streamlined and efficient, and fully embracing technology to the customer's advantage. However, more than anything, their customer service is excellent. I needed to radically change delivery instructions ahead of Xmas and they were only too happy to oblige. Highly recommended, and Sarah deserves a special mention.

This was my first time winning an online auction. I, perhaps wrongly (!), believed that my item was small enough to be delivered for the minimum delivery fee, I was wrong! The courier firm were insistent on it being delivered on a pallet which, with VAT added would make it far more than the cost of the item I had won in auction plus the auction fees. It made it a very unexpectedly expensive purchase!
I got in touch with William George through their online chat and was fortunate enough to be connected to Sarah, who was extremely friendly, very helpful and she bent over backwards to resolve my issue.
Sarah later telephoned me to talk through the options I had, and even offered to cancel the sale when it became clear that the courier firm were being unfair in what they determined was the suitable delivery option.
With her lovely personality and helpful demeanour, Sarah is truly a credit to William George. It is because of her that I would definitely consider buying from William George again.
I am only deducting one point because of the issues to do with delivery.
If I was measuring the company purely on the customer support I would definitely give it five out of 5.
My only tip to people considering placing a bid on auction items is to check how the item will be delivered and how much it will cost, before placing a bid!
