When I first started therapy, I had a lot of anxiety and needed help controlling it. Rebecca provided a safe space for me to share my thoughts and feelings, which was invaluable. She showed great empathy and offered practical solutions to manage my issues. This has changed my perspective and helped me reframe situations to protect my mental health. Her background as a GP also means she understands me from multiple angles.

Myself and around 50 colleagues attended a series of virtual sessions with Dr Rebecca Williams of Williams Stress Management and I found the content incredibly insightful, interesting and helpful. Dr. Williams has a very calm and warm presentation style, and there was lots of useful advice and suggestions for helping to reduce and manage stress. I have already begun to put many of them into practice. Her book also serves as a great reminder of the session and I dip into it often. I found my sessions with Rebecca incredibly helpful. They provided me with an emotional outlet that I hadn’t realised I needed so much. She created a safe space where I could voice my thoughts and emotions, helping me confront challenges, especially in feeling invalidated by others and she always remembered nuggets of information I had shared with her in our previous sessions. Rebecca also thoughtfully followed up me with after challenging sessions. Through her guidance, I’ve become able to recognise what I can and cannot control, and I’ve realised that certain aspects of my life are no longer serving my best interests. Rebecca also provided me with practical tools, which I’ve integrated into my daily routine. Would recommend.

Rebecca is fantastic. We had 5 hours together and during that time we made progress that has been long lasting. I often find myself reflecting back on conversations we have had, allowing me to take positive actions for myself. Rebecca took a keen interest in the discussions and retained lots of information about my life meaning that I didn’t have to revisit old ground, this made our time together super productive. I would highly recommend working with Rebecca, you won’t regret it!

Dr. Rebecca Williams has great understanding your daily stresses that caused by your work environment and private life. She teaches how to cope with them. How she explains your actions and reactions towards these stressors make the difference. I have not met other professionals and I think She is really the best in her field that I have ever met. Her empathy, unbiased knowledge, her passion and her GP Doctor background are all amazing assets to gain from. Please give her a try and you will so pleased! The experience I had I each session was of being listened to in a very supportive and caring environment. I received advice that was relevant to my circumstances and highly actionable. Each session could have been valuable as a stand alone but I chose four because I found the first experience so useful. Anyone would benefit from talking to Dr Rebecca Williams, whether they are suffering from stress or wish to learn ways to prevent it. She is an incredible listener and extremely knowledgeable while communicating in a down to earth way. I wholeheartedly recommend her. Thank you, Rebecca.
