Having sold through various auctioneers over the past few years, my experience with Wilson55 has exceeded all my expectations. James Spiridion was on hand to answer my many questions, was really quick to respond and extremely knowledgeable. His advice regarding valuation and reserve prices was absolutely spot on. My items were beautifully presented in the auction catalogue and, on the day, he took time to describe them and encourage the bidders. There was no rushing through each lot, as I’ve become accustomed to with other auctioneers, each lot was given plenty of time for bidders to partake. I’m delighted with the selling price and the whole experience of working with Wilson55 to find new owners for my lovely antique items. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Wilson55 to auction your belongings and get the very best price.

I found Stephen Sparrow at Wilson55 to be super helpful and professional.
I had never previously used an auction house, but I found their auction process to be easy and straightforward.
I took the items to Nantwich where I met with Anna to arrange the sale of oil paintings, and I met with Ian to arrange sale of Victorian watches.

They arranged packaging and postage via Bradley’s. The bowl was expertly wrapped with care and attention. Top marks to whoever did the wrapping and packaging.

What made my experience great? The answer is James Spiridion. Very hospitable when I visited for valuations and I was particularly pleased with the effort he put into research and auction descriptions. A very nice saleroom to boot.
