Things do go wrong but Wilson and Co. did not do the following:
A. Make every effort to absorb the communications, stress, and time needed to get the faulty vehicle back on the road.
As the customer I had to absorb most of this stress.
B. Offer a good will gesture to apologise for the massive stress and inconvenience, for a brand new car needing 2 repairs in its first month.
Your sales staff said I should direct my concerns to the dealer principal and he did not show courtesy to even respond.
Staff at Wilson & Co. were generally always warm and friendly on the phone but often did not call back when they agreed to. I was given commitments which were not kept to, leading to me waiting at home for courtesy vehicle which didn't arrive. I'm grateful I was loaned a courtesy car for part of the time my new car was out of action, but was also left with out of pocket expenses that were only partially reimbursed eventually.
My overall impression is all time and energy at Wilson and Co goes into sales of vehicles. Not supporting customers when their new cars break down.
Please do not offer to contact me as you are fully aware of my concerns and you have refused to respond to them.

Raymon, who sold me the car, was courteous, professional, informative and made the purchase very easy. The car was delivered to my work, with a really nice chap responsible for that, and the vehicle is superb!

My experience at Wilson & Co Scunthorpe was cracking because the whole stress of exchanging my car was made as stress free as possible. Everything was explained clearly by the excellent sales person, Ryan Jones, and he made sure we are totally happy with our purchase by sorting some things for us which we found after getting the car home.

My Mokka car was taken in for a service and MOT in August.
I highlighted a problem with a small flap that springs open and closed covering the hole in the fascia where the boot closure catch fits.
The flap had fallen into the gap between the metal bodywork and boot lining fascia.
On collecting the car I was told that it required a part which would be ordered and I would be contacted when it arrived.
Almost three months later I contacted the service department to enquire about the progress.
Mysteriously the order for the part had gone off the radar.
After gee-ing them up with follow up emails and photographs of the problem, I was eventually contacted and told the part had eventually arrived and I booked the car in for the work to be done.
So I took the car in today for an approximate six hour job allocation, at great inconvenience to my planned day.
I received a call about six hours later as promised telling me the car was ready.
I went to collect the car and inspected the work.
NOTHING REGARDING THE EXPECTED WORK HAD BEEN DONE!!
Yes, they had completed the work I was told, the new boot lock was ordered and fitted.
Sadly their incompetence shows up in the inability to identify an issue explained to them in detail initially and followed up with pictures of the offending part.
To say I am disappointed, disgruntled and annoyed in their failure is far from the true feelings I have.
I’m not sure I can trust them to do anything correctly.
I wait now with baited breath to see if they can sort this issue properly in the near future.

The service we received from Stacey and others was top notch. There were administrative problems... but none too huge, and typical in analysis scenario. Kept in the loop. Stacey and Ryan were great throughout.

Booked my Astra in the workshop for a diagnostic.
The issue with my vehicle was engine management light illuminated after travelling a short distance. I was informed they would diagnose the issue and inform me of any work required. I authorised the extra work required and paid for it. Total bill £380.52. After travelling a short distance the same fault occurred. After contact with them l booked the vehicle in again.
I was informed of different issue with vehicle which was new coil pack and plug’s recommended. I told them I had just fitted new coil pack and plug’s within the last 2 months. They would not guarantee the further work nor refund me for the initial work that had not solved the problem. Wilson and Co would not guarantee the further work even after fitting a genuine Vauxhall coil pack and plugs. Let readers be the judge. After reading the reply from Wilson&Co I feel compelled to add to my review. Why will a company not guarantee work done by them using genuine parts from their own stores. ? A Main Dealer with supposedly the best diagnostic equipment, Vauxhall trained technicians, just guessing what a solution might be is just not good enough. I collected my car after the second visit to Wilson and Co. The EML still illuminated. I cancelled the fault code on my return home. I have NOT fitted new coil pack and plugs. My vehicle has completed many miles of travel and the issue has not returned. So Who Knows! Definitely not Wilson and Co.
