We stayed the night and had supper and were very glad to have this welcoming Clapham Common pub/hotel so close to home when our boiler broke. We had one of the newly done up boutique rooms which was lovely with well chosen furnishings, pretty lighting and a decent shower room and we enjoyed our supper in the dining room downstairs. Special thanks to Luke on the Windmill's reception team who was particularly helpful.

We arrived in time, asked to wait the table be released and prepared, wait for getting orders and to served. We had 15 min to eat and we were kick off without desert and celebrated our friend's b'day.
They don't have empathy with clients! No value for customers, but their rules.
Go to be happy, and get out angry!

Great evening, good food and exceptional professional customer service by Lisa who made us feel very welcome and special.

Food over priced. Plates and detritus from previous customers left on other tables, had to clear cups and items from table before sitting at table. Left overs and plates still in place after leaving. £20.50 for chips and fish and a spoon of mushy peas is excessive. Pub does not take cash.

Terrible ordering system. Makes you waste 10 minutes of your time to fill in a stupid form to get wifi so you can order. Our entire party of 8 got up and left . They have no regard for their customers. I used to come often now will never return .

Wow! What an incredible evening at the Windmill restaurant. I could go on forever about the venue, the location - the ambiance and the vibe - and all that would have been for nought if the quality and taste of their food did not match up, BUT it did!!! We were a party of 10 and as we needed to get our rest in before doing a charity cycle ride the next day we decided to all have the same meal from starter right through to desert - not one course let us down - we did not have to wait for any of the meals to be brought to all our party - food was yummy and the Windmill Burger is just flippin great - maybe one of the nicest tasting burgers I have had - and the cheesecake was a generous protion and a taste to match and trully end the evening off well. We will be back.
