Windows done right!
Installation crew showed an hour early, asked to remove some minor wall decorations near windows being replaced, otherwise they were happy with my prep. Plastic sheeting was laid down in the rooms and the ground outside. They got to it and the two of them were done with seven windows in six hours. Ran into some rotted wood in the dining room but they handled it. Living room window has a masonry surround which included an unexpected
taper that the measurement guy didn't catch but how could he? Anyway the problem was handled with no drama. Everything was sealed, work areas cleaned and policed up, old windows and trim disposed of. Was given a quick tutorial on how the windows worked as far as locking, pane swivel and pane security. Noise reduction is the first benefit other than looking great. Interested to see how much I save in heating costs this winter. Im a very happy customer!
