Wow what a team at Windsor Bray

Wow what a team at Windsor Bray. I was dealing with Michael. He's fantastic. I have been unlucky dealing with cowboys in the past when buying cars. This was the best experience I've ever had buying a car and I won't be going anywhere else from now on. Michael was brilliant from start to finish. Everyone was so professional and couldn't have been more helpful. I got the most beautiful car I've ever owned with so many features, I'm like a child in a sweet shop. Thank you so much 💓

Shop elsewhere

Bought a car from them summer of 2023 they could not have been nicer at that time.
Car arrived with a scratch on the door, I also recieved a m50 toll fine from toll being unpaid when I ha not even recieved the car.
Brought the car in for a free 3 month service when I picked up the car yes the door had been resprayed but the doors had black trim on them when I bought the car and brought it in was returned with just trim on one door that was in October we are now in late March they still have not replaced they directed me to a local dealer for this but gave them the wrong spec and details so no joy there he emailed them to let them know it was wrong and I have had no reply to over
5 emails sent not even an acknowledgment so left with a car with trim on one side only.
Terrible after care, once you've bought the car that's it.
Would never recommend.

Have purchased 4 cars over the last 10…

Have purchased 4 cars over the last 10 years from Windsor motormall and Windsor Galway and generally found the service and deals to be quite good. Change cars every 2-3 years as I commute a good bit to and from work.

Contacted Windsor Raheny this week about changing my car and after the experience I’ll never purchase from Windsor again. The finance lady was very helpful but I got the sense the salesperson wasn’t interested in doing a deal. The trade-in value offered was a third of the price I paid for the car just under two years ago and half what another dealership offered me. I walked away from the offer of €10k for my trade in and purchased from Dan Seaman’s garage an hour later with €20k for my trade in. Repeat business and loyalty clearly means nothing to Windsor.

Catalytic converter failure after buying from Windsor airside

Bought a 2019 micra in august 2021 and after 18 months, the catalytic converter failed. I was told by several mechanics it should last on average 100k miles. Well at 40k, I wasn’t in sneezing distance of that! I had noticed there had been two owners previously when I bought it but the salesman had told me this wasnt a bad sign!! I complained to Windsor airside where I purchased it and got the expected story that it was outside the warranty period. After repeatedly insisting that this shouldn’t be happening, he agreed to give me a free diagnosis for one hour only and waived the labour fee but it set me back a thousand euros !!!! I was absolutely disgusted. I had previously also paid my local mechanic when light came on on the dash and it was unclear what the problem was! Cost me an absolute fortune for a practically ‘new’ car! I tried to speak to a customer service manager repeatedly in Windsor but was blocked! I believe I was sold a lemon, a very expensive one! I would never never buy here again.

Disgraceful

0 stars
Would certainly not recommend purchasing a car from windsor Galway. Bought a 1 year old car in November 2023, the car broke down 5 weeks later on the 15th of December and I am still waiting for the garage to carry out repairs, 2 months later!!!! The replacement car I was given was a Renault Clio which did not match the size of my own car and was unsuitable for a family with teenagers . I'm writing this review to help future car buyers as this experience has had a negative impact on my health and I do not want anyone else to go through this. I wish I read the negative reviews here before I purchased my car because I now know there is definitely some truth in them.

Bought a Renault Zoe

Bought a Renault Zoe. We had two major repair bills within the space of 2 years. Service department completely unelpful. The objective was to get as much money as possible with no customer service. Appaling. Will never buy a car again there.

Excellent service from a great team

My third time buying a car from the team at Windsor motors in Ballybrit. The service provided by Gary, Darren and the team is second to none in my experience, everything from selecting the car to arranging finance was handled with the utmost diligence and without delay. These guys really do put the customer first! If you are car shopping in Galway I would recommend stopping by Windsor, you wont go wrong.

I would have given 0 stars if I could

I would have given 0 stars if I could. Radio code was not supplied with the car. Called Windsor airside yesterday and the woman said I would have to bring it in at a €60 charge for them to remove the stereo. I asked her was it normal that they don’t supply this with the cars bought and she said yes it’s so we return at a later time with a charge ( call was recorded so they can go back and listen to what she said). I was dealing with a different garage for some minor repairs and they got the code off them FOR FREE and the stereo never had to be removed. I had called Windsor in Clonee and they also said the stereo didn’t need to be removed. Money racket and so unprofessional I’ll never buy a car off them again

Bought a second hand car in A

Bought a second hand car in April 2023. Came with only one key and was promised another within a few weeks. Almost a year later and still waiting. My partner has made several phone calls and sent emails to no avail, only gets "we're doing our best" key should be with you soon...
After sale service is appalling.
Would never again deal with this garage

What you would hope for when your car breaks down.

I had an issue with my car and needed it towed into Windsor Motors in Galway. This review only relates to the Galway branch as I've have had no dealings the Dublin branch.
They talked me through every step of the process and were always available by phone. They quickly organised a replacement car for me and talked me through the what I would need to have ready for that.
They quickly fixed the problem with the car and kept me informed by phone. They serviced the car at no extra cost and even left it fully charged (it's an electric).
Understanding, professional and efficient - the opposite in every way of the equivalent Renault service centre in Tullamore I wrote about in an earlier review.

Very efficient and friendly staff

Very efficient and friendly staff.
Keith in the Service Department is extremely helpful and polite when dealing with servicing and repairs to my Renault Zoe which was purchased from Windsor, Airside.
John in Accounts is also a great guy to deal with. And Ciara also is very helpful.
I would highly recommend this company for their great customer service and for providing an all round top quality customer experience!

Sales is good but worst service

Bought car from Windsor Raheeny and delivered to Windsor Galway with warranty coverage in Galway. The day of delivery of car itself had bulbs and few parts issues. I booked for checkup after few months, I dropped of my car with prior check up booked .on the day of checkup they say warrant is yet to be transferred from Dublinn to Galway, service person at Galway was not pleasant in talking, TPMS was main issue, they sinply reset the light and given, immediatlwy after coming out TPMS lights on again, after coming hime i called immediatley they said it could be slow puncture, went to local tyre shop theyvfound in a minute that one sensor is faulty surprised Windsor like good compnay dont have proper compegent service technician or not enough dligince intheier duties. Service person says he don't know what sale guys do.
It's not easy to reach service guys and no answers for any simple questions.
My simple feedback is Windsor please improve your service competency, if not possible don't offer warranty, I have warranty purchased for 2 more years. Regret why I bought the car and Mai ly the warranty as well
Users please make sure get the written agreement for service warranty etc
Overall my experience with Windtis very poor. I wouldn't recommend Tomy friends and families
Other sense I am unlucky, I should have reviewed others review comments before going to Windsor.

I bought a car off raul the supposed…

I bought a car off raul the supposed salesman, from the moment I collected the car,I had a lot of problems with it.The after sales service is the worst I have ever came across,I am driving 40 years and didn’t think it was possible for a main dealer,to treat a customer the way I was treated.Every time I had to book the car in with a problem,it was a constant battle with Sean the manager. They will argue with you every time you have to bring the car back, they will try and worm there way out of warranty work and try and screw you at every turn. From the way you are treated by the service desk, who have no people skills at all.I found my experience with Windsor motors the worst I ever experienced, and I have bought a lot of cars in my time. And the sales manager Sean was the worst person in his position I ever had to deal with.I would never go near Windsor motors, ever again, and wouldn’t recommend anyone else to,once the car is paid for, they don’t want to know you.

Windsor Deansgrange Opel and Nissan Dealership

So this may be a lengthy review but one that needs to be told, we seen a car advertised on dondeal through windosr deansgrange we made several enquiries about this renault kadjar and finally decided to put a deposit on the car, after been told this car needed to be brought to the bodyshop for some work we waited about a week to collect it as we were travelling from cork, all was going good so far until 3pm the day before Sean contacted my partner with some pictures and videos of the car and there was clearly some scratches and marks even after this went to the body shop a few days prior to this. I travelled to Dublin the next day to collect that car as that was the arrangement and when I seen the car it wasn't how it was advertised, it most definitely wasn't in showroom condition (which we were promised) we got told that if we wanted the car sorted we would need to bring it back up to Dublin so they would get the work sorted on the car again a massive inconvenience that should of been sorted since day 1. We were also told that the car never even went to the body shop and sean lied. While we had the car in cork it broke down so many times. The level of customer service from the garage at this point was shocking, until the branch manager niall stepped in and things kind of started progressing slightly after a few back and forths we travelled back to Dublin to get the car sorted. After 2 weeks we came back to collect the car as arranged, however the wing mirror was damaged while the car was in their posession, (again we were asked if we were sure we didn't do this by Sean which I told him definitely not and had pictures to prove it. Eventually they came clean on that too) not even an apology and it wasn't even repaired for us or even offered to be repaired in cork. They did a quick fix which barely made a difference. While my partner was sorting out extended warranty which was given by the branch manager she was basically called a liar by Sean about a conversation they had about the warranty, again the level of customer service and professionalism was gone at this point. What should of only been a 20minute stay at the garage turned into over a 1.5hour wait which was inconvenience with 3 small babies one of the valetors then had to go and put diesel into the jeep because our sales advisor Sean decided to head on lunch whilst we were still waiting, the valetor which was a very nice lad said there was a knocking noise coming from one of the back wheels so again another issue, niall the branch manager took the car for a spin and sorted the problem for about 15mins waiting. We left the garage to drive home and we made it as far as Newlands cross and a sensor light came up on the dash again another problem even tho thiss jeep was supposed to get fully checked over again before we collected it. After a few days back in cork we had another issue with the car and it needed to get a pressure sensor replaced and niall managed to get this covered for me in a local main dealer and i was grateful for that. However there was still the issue with the extended warranty that was promised I had to chase niall up several times again until 2 weeks ago to get this paperwork. We were also promised a €100 one4all voucher for all the inconvenience which we also had to chase up but still nothing. We know we won't get this either but we couldn't care a less anymore we just want to be done dealing with them. We spent a lot of money on a new car for our family, our deal was so easy, cash sale over the phone and yet we were let down on several occasions. The car was basically taken as a trade in and had a quick clean on the inside and car wash and was handed over to us. They even admitted this, that the car didn't even go to the servicing department. The battery also had to be replaced. We thought with going to a main dealership garage that we wouldn't have any problems and it would be such an easy process but this was not the case. As soon as they heard we were from cork and were paying a cash sale and made the purchase over the phone they thought the could pull a fast one. We were such easy customers. This was by far the most stressful process ever. Literally an absolute nightmare. We would highly reccomend people to spend there hard earned money elsewhere because we genuinely would hate for somebody else to get caught like we did. The amount of stress and hassle they caused us would be an understatement. Just full of lies and broken promises. I think both Sean and Niall should read SIMI members code of ethics because they failed on so many

Bought a 2015 ford focus back in July…

Bought a 2015 ford focus back in July within 15 minutes of the car being delivered lights were showing on the dash couldn’t get the car back to the garage until 3 days later but got a mechanic to do a diagnostics on it 2 tyres sensors gone glow plugs and fuel pump issues apparently these things happen!!got it back to the garage was given a loan car 5 weeks later (they weren’t sure how to fix it) and 2 loan cars plenty of calls back and forth to garage and insurance as I had to ring them every week so advise which car I was driving also got toll bridge bills in the door for the focus when they had it (which they did pay and I made sure I paid loan car tolls )
got the car back wheel nuts damaged new scratches on paint work and dent
drive back out with the car a few days later as it was still showing lights on dash again glow plug issue and car losing power (on m50) after sales manager very relaxed said they had 3 chances to fix it before I could take it further
He did quick test drive and said nothing wrong with car I wanted them to take the car back as it was not fit for purpose had to argue the point to get them to take it back and cover loan car
After 2 hours he agreed I found another car and decided to buy that instead because I couldn’t be bothered with hassle had to sort finance garage dragged their heels I contacted finance and they weren’t aware of issue although garage had apparently contacted them
was able to use my deposit off the new car€1200 and said they would give back interest off new car €400 considering I got discount on focus they weren’t going out of their way and didn’t seem to feel it’s a big issue to cause so much stress and hassle and take the joy out of buying a car
Shouldn’t take so long to sort an issue with a car when it’s not the customers fault
Buying a second hand car off this garage get a full diagnostics done by your own mechanic

Really poor service

Really poor service. They'll call you to come pick up a car while they are still servicing it. They ask for a review and give you a web link that doesn't work. The QR review code didn't work either. And they will rip you off, changing and charging for things without asking. Would not recommend buying from Windsor.
