Wiseestate bunch of cowboys...

I once again called on the 1/9/21.
As usual I was correct that no one was available to answer the call. I seem to be speaking to the receptionist more and more instead of the maintenance managers who should be available.

I have called over a dozen times and written over four emails which have all gone unanswered.

On 1/9/21 I was once again told Alexander Falkner are now the management unit that looks after Urban court, however, its still run by the Wiseestate personnel, originally it was a woman called Amber Lewis, who never responded to any emails or callbacks, now I have been told that a Mr Kam Mattru is the property Mgr, And his assistant was a lady called Stacy, neither returned my call on the 1/9/21.

The residents have been complaining for over 12 months regarding the cleaning of the grounds and non-functioning electric gates, we have had no response or any correspondence from your company on what's going to happen.

The grounds are unkempt and overgrown the gates are broken - please explain what's the point paying a service charge were YOU HAVE clearly failed to provide a service this year.

I have spoken to a number of the residents on the estate and we are all disgusted by the attitude of your establishment and clearly non-cooperation.

Overall a terrible organisation.

Shocking customer service

Shocking customer service, sent an email 4 weeks ago and made over 10 calls talking to different people and no one comes back to you, it’s all one way!!

Beware

Beware, absolute cowboys. There are constantly new firms setup by SDL property managament to hide their shocking service and constantly buy time and charge fees for nothing. During the 3 years I've lived on the new build estate SDL became CDC and then Wise. During that time we were being charged for sprinklers which are not even installed. Not a single meeting and do not reply to emails. Shocking

Dissatisfied and unhappy

Wise/SDL are our management company, they never fulfil their promised works, we are forever chasing them for action and lately they do not even respond to emails. Although they are very quick to send out bills and demands.

Poor communication, poor service, prices increasing for what?

We pay them as a group of owners to maintain two small areas. Plus others pay extra for their courtyard parking to be weeded etc. They are contracted to come fortnightly on the growing season and monthly in the winter. They have never kept to this contract since taking it on in 2018 whether they are Bigwoods, SDL or Wise Estates. The price goes up but they have come 3.5 times since last autumn 2020. We tried to make a second formal complaint and asked why fees increase but everyone we deals with leaves and nothing happens.

The quality of the work when they do come is not per the contract infact half their list is things that they should not be doing and cannot do e.g. cutting hedges we all own and do our own, digging and hoeing when there is nothing to dig or hoe.

If someone moves or changes name they are charged hundreds of pounds.

As reps we have taken all this to our M.P. the price goes up but the service deteriorates.

The communication, service, over charging, poor workmanship and more

The communication, quality of work, amount of work carried for the supposed fee appalling.
Many residents in Steppingley Gardens have tried numerous times to contact Wise Estates, no replies, they will not answer the phone calls unless you are paying a bill, surprisingly.
I expect a reply from the so-called service team to sort out calamity they refer to as business.

If I could I give -5*

If I could I give -5*, it is a new name but it is SDL property management, even phone number is this same.
It is the worst management company ever, ignoring people, ignoring duties and caring about property but they charge people for doing nothing. That should go to prison for lies. I go to the court with big pleasure soon!!!

I would like to leave zero stars

I would like to leave zero stars, but seeing as that is not an option…. 7 months after buying our house my solicitor is still awaiting the correct documents from them! Neither they nor I are getting any response from them. It is absolutely appalling. Wise take the money and do nothing in return. All I want is for everything to be sorted, it is obviously too much to ask.

You pay for a leasehold pack and 11…

You pay for a leasehold pack and 11 weeks later still not sent to solicitors, this is now creating a situation where the sale of our house may not go through, although they can get the letters out for the next management fees out for July in quick time.

Only giving one as 0 is not an option

Only giving one as 0 is not an option. Have recently moved over from SDL. We have withheld payments as works was never carried out as promised. After many years of back and forth with SDL I am no further forward with wise. They ignore emails , calls. The elderly on our estate have reported faulty lights , they have been ignored for weeks. My daughter is suffering from extreme hayfever. Dr says grass should be kept short in area. I have sent them images this evening of my daughters swollen face. She cannot go out to play, she is 8 years old. The grass is over 1 metre tall. The estate is a disgrace. SDL threatened to take my neighbour to court because she withheld payment for lack of service. They bullied her into payment. I have been threatened to watch what happens if I push for court proceedings. The only time we hear off them is when payment is due. I paid them 90.00 last year on the promise that works would commence. The work didn’t and the 90.00 isn’t even acknowledged on my statements. They have no reason for this! They promised a Skype call months ago. I booked the day off work, they failed to call. Absolute fraudsters. Despicable behaviour from selfish people who are happy to sit back and make threats against people and see babies suffer. In response to this message they will say please send more information (as per usual), we’ll I have , beck you inbox tonight !!! Appalling!!!!! Avoid like the plague

I moved out of my house where I used to…

I moved out of my house where I used to pay management fees and this company are still sending me invoices even though I have emailed to say I don’t even live there anymore and of course I have received NO reply! Absolute joke.

SDL have changed their name to Wise

SDL have changed their name to Wise. It will be, in my opinion, the same none existent service, nothing has changed apart from a name change. We had a notice to say Wise were taking over our estate. Quick search at Companies House showed it was SDL - change of name & same names listed. Next day they resigned from our estate and we’re currently on the hand over stage.

Please review previous names for this company

Fully agree with the other comments from the people who have already rated Wise. It will take a lot more than a simple name change to improve service. Different company name + same people = same service.

I experienced very poor service from SDL, we were moved to the new company 'Wise' and the day after our estate was served notice. In my opinion, probably did us a favour. SDL could not maintain the estate to the level we expected, many emails not responded to and queries as logged on the SDL360 Portal simply ignored.

Well so far this company are as bad as…

Well so far this company are as bad as SDL they took over from, they like to write with all the promise that of a good service but do not reply to simple emails, I hate leasehold management companies
