Bought these for my husband's birthday…
Bought these for my husband's birthday absolutely love the suspenders but have only had them for about 3 weeks and the lobster hooks broke and can't use them now. The rivet in the center that holds the springs broke.

Damages
The Option 1 (clear and direct):
Hi, I received the item, but it appears to be broken. The two parts that are supposed to attach to each other do not connect properly. As you can see in the photo, the hook mechanism is damaged and cannot be secured. Please let me know how we can proceed with a replacement or return.

We’re sorry to hear you’re having trouble with the stud mechanism. My colleague Min replied to your email as soon as we received your photo — before this review was posted — with instructions on how to resolve it.
As your order was placed back in November and has been in use, it’s most likely that the screw has loosened over time. The hardware is designed to be adjustable and can easily be tightened with a small flat-head screwdriver. We also include a spare stud in the cotton bag with every original order for exactly this reason.
If you’re unable to locate the spare, please let us know — we’ll gladly send you a complimentary replacement stud right away.

It seemed like a lot of money, but...
I agonized for a while to decide to pay this price for a pair of suspenders. I'm so glad I did. They don't pop off. They really work far better than narrow elastic suspenders. Even the clip fasteners are much higher quality than others I have seen. Since I wear them every day, I appreciate how well made they are--they have continued to look good for the last many months, and I'm looking forward to adding more to my wardrobe.

After a couple months of measuring and trying custom fit suspenders, I finally achieved my goal and got the perfect fit . Wiseguys went over and beyond to make sure I got exactly what I wanted after spending money at their store . They sent and paid for all the new pairs of suspenders until I received the perfect fit. I’m very grateful for their kindness , because they truly didn’t have to remedy anything after I cut the original pair trying to make them fit me . However , they reached out first to make sure I received what I payed for . Truly , truly grateful for their kindness .

I can only give 1 for my initial…
I can only give 1 for my initial thoughts. Shipping label created and no update for weeks. Reached out in email and they said the order was never shipped and they would expedite. Finally shipped from Thailand. Quality is not there. Material is very thin and I question whether it is actually leather since it has no irregularities and smells/feels like chemicals. We'll see if they absorb water/sweat like leather would. I could do without the huge logo on the back, too. I frequently purchase quality leather products and would not purchase these again.

I like how the leather is smooth…
I like how the leather is smooth against my neck and shoulders. I’m glad they’re adjustable to get the right fit. The only issue I’ve had is that the leather part is of course not stretchy, so if I move in certain ways or pull upward too hard, the clip tends to pop off my pants. I would like to use the claws that grab the belt loops but not all my pants have belt loops.

Worth the wait! I love my Wiseguy Suspenders!!
After a little mixup with the shipping, The folks at Wiseguy got it straightened out, and I received my Barberpole suspenders, and couldn't be happier. As a Barber, I proudly wear them a lot. I get a lot of comments while I am out shopping..."nice suspenders"!! I will definitely recommend them to other Barbers. Nice quality, should last a long time.

Great braces! But delivery took a while
Delivery took a while, although I did order this on Black Friday, and imagine all deliveries would have taken while.
The braces themselves are lovely and highly recommended
My only disappointment is that I ordered them while I was in the US, but now that I am back in Singapore and want more, Wiseguy doesn't ship there!
UPDATE: Following my review, I actually received a response from Mike Spits the owner himself. Wow. Shipping to Singapore is available again. Thank you for being so responsive. Great products, great customer service - am changing my rating back up to 5 Stars (from 4).
