I consider myself incredibly tech saavy, I work in tech, and this was one of the most challenging user interfaces I have ever tried to navigate. There is WAY too many options, drop downs, no cent... See more

We like how easy it is to create everything; it's very user-friendly.
One thing I miss is the ability to choose my own date format and language in multiple cases.
We are from the Czech Republic, so 1st- we use different time format and 2nd- half of our guests speak English, but the other half do not.
We have been successful in translating many things ourselves, such as creating custom questions, but the time left until the wedding cannot be manually edited to be in our language. The same applies to the RSVP page where people have to enter their name to answer the RSVP.
Out of 10 gifts purchased so far, 3 gifts have been out of stock. Its frustrating that we spent time creating a registry just to get “credit” instead of the items we selected. It will be more work for us later on to find those same items elsewhere.

It is very easy to use and looks amazing! I am very happy with Joy!
I really love how everything is from how helpful and thoughtful the site is. How everything you need is all there and even a few extras.
What I did have a problem with was the font when adding a corrected version from my notes. It won’t change the words the correct color so I had to change my page template, but in the end it still worked out.
Really easy to use. Very helpful in organising RSVPs and giving the guests information.
Would 100% use this again.
We wanted to send digital invites for our wedding and wanted to spend $0 on the whole process. This was a great option - the user interface can feel a bit fiddly at times, but honestly it did the job and was mostly easy to use.
Also their support team were great at helping us when the mobile view of the website wasn't adapting properly from the desktop view. HUGE THUMBS UP.
We used WithJoy for the wedding website, which was fine. Their guest tracking feature was better for us than Zola. However, the experience with their registry and WithJoy store was so terrible and awful that I cannot recommend this website to anyone. They are literally out of stock on more than half of their items that people purchased for us. But they dont tell you that until they already purchased it. And they dont refund you, they provide the money as "Joy Credit" which is a useless credit that you can only spend on their "Joy Store" which is again, mostly out of stock, and incredibly marked up pricing. The website is slow, impossible to navigate, and good luck trying to figure out how to even use your Joy Credit. This website is exploitative towards couples and should not exist. They should be ashamed of themselves.
Easy Experience to create and share. But features to build website was very limited and templates were constrained. In the age of AI, we should be able to generate website based on contextual inputs.
The support agent was helpful, if a little slow to respond. I was trying to order additional recipients for digital invitations. It turns out, the only way to do that is to get a stripe.com link, pay it, then take a screenshot of the payment! Then the agent could add the additional recipients to my account. This is a completely insane process to make a digital purchase.
VERY quick response time. And y'all are so very gracious--not to mention helpful. : )
The website back end is not great. There is no way to easily see who rsvp'd and who didn't...you have to go to the manage guest list page and scroll over. And we have found that this isn't updating with people's responses consistently. Maddening. I find the site not intuitive or well designed for what we expect. There must be better options out there.

Great service, easy to use and very helpful to organize my event.
Overall, we had a satisfactory experience using WithJoy. Things we liked:
- good selection of designs and layouts
- free
- (sort of) customizable
- (halfway) Venmo integration. This was a nice feature to have connected in easily. About 60% ready for primetime (would like to see native API-level integration)
Things we didn't like:
- The registry functionality is HORRIBLE. Please avoid it at all costs. Its main purpose is to get affiliate link royalties off purchases and doesn't allow guests to use their store accounts (i.e., Amazon) to get free Prime shipping or % cashback with their Amazon Visa card. Big bust.
- The Guest List table is very unintuitive. Could really benefit from a UI/UX audit. Many non-standard ways of doing things. Super confusing. Frustrating.
- In general, the entire website's design/editor features are unintuitive and require a lot of time invested to figure out how to do things.
Overall, you get what you pay for (free = subpar product not ready for primetime, yet used by thousands because of lack of quality alternatives). We chose WithJoy over TheKnot and Zola, and we are still happy with that decision (we tried out TheKnot and Zola briefly, but they were even worse 🥲). I guess they have to make money somehow, but an unintuitive and frustrating UI is not a way to encourage that.
Really appreciate the free software. Very user intuitive.
Only wish is that the individual pages were more customizable.
Designing the website was frustrating. We typed in our information, and then wanted to use the “design” feature. It did not transfer smoothly to a different layout, so we wanted to go back, but the website wouldn’t let us revert it to the original layout. We like how our website turned out in the end, but we spent much longer than we had hoped to making it because the user interface was not very intuitive. I’m glad that it was free.

Jaithra was an amazing help, and got everything to work the way we needed!
Was super easy to build a FREE website for our destination wedding. I would definitely recommend them. If their paid services are even half as good as their free service, then I would 100% say it is worth the price. Great experience.
Easier interface to work with out of the many options available. Reliable and responsive actions. Wonderful insights on this platform as well
We are unable to attend a friend’s wedding but trying to buy a gift from the registry is miserable. My attempt launched me to Amazon which didn’t know where to ship the gift. It’s nowhere on the site, I asked the AI agent and it said they collect that information from the couple, but won’t display it to the guests. If they aren’t directly in the ordering process, there is no point collecting the address and if they are, they need to give the option to ship directly. This site has been confusing and frustrating. Do your guests a favor and go somewhere else.
