I consider myself incredibly tech saavy, I work in tech, and this was one of the most challenging user interfaces I have ever tried to navigate. There is WAY too many options, drop downs, no cent... See more

It was a bit glitchy a lot of the time. Other than that it worked very well for our needs and are very happy to be able to have this website to plan the wedding!
I love the website, and everything has been very easy to navigate so far. I collected addresses for the save the dates, and I could not figure out how to print addresses onto envelopes for households with multiple guests (e.g., combining 2 guests into 1 envelope with 1 address). I followed all the online instructions and still could not get it to work. I now have to handwrite the addresses onto all the envelopes. Wish this could have been easier!
It has been easy to use overall and I love the RSVP features. I have found the tags to be a little confusing. There are tags with and without emojis. Such as a ceremony one with an emoji and one without. I learned that if I ceremony tagged someone with an emoji-less tag they didn’t get the correct RSVP. It was an easy fix, but still confusing.
We were disappointed with Joy and regret not going with a traditional registry instead. We developed a small registry with just the important items (pots and pans, towels and sheets). These simples were not available AFTER our guests purchased them, and we were only able to get “Joy credit”, not a refund. This limited our ability to get the items we actually wanted. This seemed to defeat the purpose of a small registry of just the items we felt most practical and appropriate to ask for from our guests.

Website is clunky, slow to load, doesn't let you make efficient edits like a spreadsheet should. It (usually) works... eventually, but you'll likely pull out some hair in the process.

The representatives (I had spoke with one earlier and he explained someone would reach out to me to help me with my situation, that's why I said they)were very attentive to my questions; Both representatives were very knowledgeable in explaining the resolution to my situation. I feel this is a very good company customer service, thank you
An item that a guest paid a significant amount of money for has been out of stock for over a month now and there’s no way to request to get the item back in stock????? There is also no way to get the money out of the system from Joy for the item that has been paid for to buy it on another website either. This is extremely frustrating and totally unacceptable for a young couple trying to build their life together. Why even bother having your own “inventory” if it can’t be requested to be put back in stock? It’s criminal. I will be warning everyone to NOT use Joy for this exact reason until this issue has been resolved.

I have been loving using joy. The only thing and I kind of feel it's a major thing, is that there should be a way to mass text your contacts with your website from Joy. Also I imported all my contacts and only the names transfered. No emails or phone numbers. I used a spread sheet and had all the info in their correctly.

Very useful website to prepare our wedding !!
App and website have quite different capabilities that are not obvious (e.g. guest list features).
Overall the website is good however not intuitive and difficult to navigate. Lots of good features though.
Joy has honestly been a complete lifesaver throughout my wedding planning process! I truly don't think I could have organized everything the way I have without it, from keeping track of details to helping bring my vision together, it has made every step feel so much easier and less overwhelming.
What really stands out is how user-friendly and thoughtfully designed everything is. It feels like it was created with brides in mind, and it shows.
Planning a wedding can be stressful, but this platform has made the entire experience feel more exciting and manageable.
I would genuinely recommend Joy to any bride who is starting to plan her wedding-it's been such a game changer for me. I'm so grateful to have found it!
Easy to use and covers everything we need!
Okay features, nearly unusable site.
Cannot view “send” or similar buttons at bottom of page after selecting guests and invitation types unless on specific browsers under a full moon, and then can only scroll down to about half the height of the button. I had to forego Chrome and blow the dust off ol’ Explorer for this one.
Site navigation consists of unnecessarily nested categories, requiring you to get the hang of how to use it and remember paths instead of being clear, direct, and intuitive.
Updating text sections in wedding website editor was temperamental. Sometimes it works, sometimes you need to do it another three times. Remember to copy your text and perhaps paste it elsewhere as a backup before raw-dogging saving typed-out text boxes.
Saving templates you painstakingly created is also a temperamental nightmare. Upon having to send some invitations twice (emails bouncing, no fault of the site), we inexplicably had to recreate them from scratch, despite having saved changes, which involves scrolling through the hundred or so templates again to locate the one used (and already sent to other emails, mind you), retyping the text, and praying that it would take.
Guest lists would do well with being numbered with a total that you can view via selecting boxes next to names (based on RSVP status and manual selection, or even just manually would be acceptable). Instead, I had to manually count the guests in my head by scrolling through names. Not sure if mobile users fare better here.
Decent selection of free templates.
Well, that’s what I can recall off the top of my head, since I have avoided using this site after the hair-pulling-ly frustrating experience I had to endure since we published it. Thankfully, I only intend on getting married this one time, so I will never have to use this again.
If you’re looking for a fully functional website tool with the bonus of it actually making sense to use, look elsewhere. Otherwise, good luck.

My daughter-in-law reached out to 'withjoy' on my behalf to clear up an issue with hotel reservations for an upcoming wedding, that had been cancelled in error.
Withjoy staff, Isabella, helped resolve the issue and I could not be happier with their support and help!
Loved how easy is to set everything up and found the guest list tools extra helpful. Sometimes things glitch in the app or the site but all in all it is a great experience
Send out emails to subgroups of people is a challenge. Emails end up in spam and there’s no way to check without going round people individually (so what’s the point of the first email?). Various aspects of adding and removing guests and their +1s from groups is unintuitive.
The website is useful, but I have had to replicate everything else in spreadsheets and send my own emails to ensure the right messages are received.

Great user interface to navigate, I love the overall look, and the suggestions to make it easier when experiencing a writer's block on what info to input. 10/10
