What a joke. Expensive and useless. The app gave me an offer with Wolt+ so I could get a discount on my order, so I signed up. Guess what - no discount and Wolt+ refused to return the money for the sign up.

Expensive with hidden fees/charges.
Up to 35% extra charge on products.
With 30% SuperDeal discount the price of the product was still higher than the local restaurants price.
Edit: Higher rating of 3⭐️ due to Wolt being the better option compared to the current alternative of food delivery companies.

I have never waited so long for my food. My last three orders took hours. I’ve been waiting for this order for 2 hours. It took Wolt 45 minutes to pick up the food from the restaurant, even though it was ready. By the time it was delivered, I had waited another hour.
I spoke to the courier, and he explained everything. It seems like they’re trying to make as much money as possible without caring about the quality of service. They sent the driver to three different restaurants before delivering my order. For all three deliveries, they paid the courier about 120 kr before tax. Years ago, they paid the same amount for just one order.
Sometimes couriers spend an hour completing one task. Keep in mind, they have to buy fuel and cover all their expenses from what’s left after taxes. I don’t understand where the government institutions are in all this—it’s far below the minimum wage in Denmark. Some hours, couriers don’t get any orders at all, essentially working for free.
I also don’t understand why Wolt spends money on advertising to showcase such poor service. If you want to eat your pizza with a spoon, use Wolt.

Cancelled my subscription due to weak support and poor handling of mistakes.
• Frequent delivery delays resulting in cold food, and insufficient support when restaurants make mistakes, led me to cancel my subscription. Mistakes can happen, but the attitude and recovery process matter. Unfortunately, this is where the service falls short.
• In two of my recent orders, I selected chicken as the meat option. Both times, the meal arrived without chicken, which I didn’t enjoy and ended up throwing away. When I contacted support, they offered a refund of 15 DKK (the cost of the chicken). But thank you, I didn’t order vegetarian food.
• It’s like receiving a burger without the patty but still being charged for the bun and sauce. If the meal isn’t what I ordered, why should I pay for the parts I can’t use?
• Delivery delays has happened to be dismissed by support, claiming, “We believe this delay doesn’t affect the quality.” How does that make sense when I have to reheat a pizza?
It’s disappointing to see such a lack of accountability and care in handling customer issues. Until these problems are addressed, I cannot recommend the service.

Wolt is known for notoriously not letting people use their credits. Every time I got promotion credits, they didn’t let me use. And we tried multiple times on my account, friend’s account, all they say recent activity disabled credits. To prove them wrong, I created literally a new account also with no activity and still the same. Literally scamming peeps. And their support is worst you could get. Using macros and no solution

Twice I was not delivered the items (once half, second time 2/3 were missing).
There were no reimbursement or reasoning... Basically hard earned money straight out of the window).
Don't bother... Delivery is dead.

Oh my gosh I wish I’d read these reviews before placing my order.
Pretty much as everyone else has stated really. Food was promised within 40 mins. It took more like an hour and 40 mins and arrived stone cold. I mean, not even lukewarm.
I’m staying in a hotel with no option to reheat my meal.
Well .. that’s a very expensive lesson learned.

EDITED TO ADD: Thanks for the copy and paste response Wolt! I did already reach out. And received nothing. But then the typical ‘30% off your next order’ you seem to offer everyone is irrelevant anyway since I won’t be ordering again.
You thank me for my review and say you’ll take feedback into account. But the point is .. you are not doing so! Because 5000 people before me have complained of the exact same thing! “If we always do what we’ve always done. We’ll always get what we’ve always got” - and that’s why your overall rating is a dreadful 1.4

Since February 2023, I’ve placed over 300 orders through Wolt. Today, I made my final order and canceled my Wolt+ subscription. Throughout 2023 I recommended this company to everyone as the fastest and cheapest option. However, starting in 2024, I began noticing a decline in service quality. Restaurants farther away from me were often unavailable, and deliveries from those nearby took increasingly longer. Wolt+ was a great subscription, but the service fee, which also increased with the order amount (like a punishment for spending more money!), was at the very least inappropriate given the overall offering.
Finally, today, after waiting 1 hour and 55 minutes for an order from a restaurant just 500 meters away, I reached my breaking point. It's a real shame because I saw you as a true competitor to Uber Eats. Sadly, I’ll now be switching to the competition. :( It's disappointing to see your decline.

Food was over 30 minutes late. I could see on the apps map that the courier was parked at a supermarket 2 minutes from where I live and that they had already been to the restaurant where I had ordered from. Of course the food arrived cold and when I complained I was offered a template response and a measly 30% refund. Appalling service

Poor logistics management. I ordered from a restaurant only 10 min. away. From the food was ready until delivered went 55 minutes as the driver is delivering other orders prior to picking up mine and even after picking up mine. No help from their customer service as I didn't get a reply in the chat. The service does not match the prices for the items (which they mark up too) and the delivery.
Stay away.

What happened? It seems like our relationship is falling apart. It’s not me, it’s you.
Maybe it’s about time we address the elephant in the room. When I think back on Wolt right when the concept started, it was a pleasant experience, we were on the pink cloud as some would call it. The food arrived on time, the food was always right and the customer service was functional.
But then you changed, and became the worst version of yourself. Your food is always late, none of the estimated delivery times are true anymore, quite often the food is wrong or just simply doesn’t arrive, and the customer service is like talking to someone who got purposely hit with a brick over and over again.
I even made a list of all the troubles we’ve been having for the last amount of time, to make it easier for you to visualise:
* Estimated delivery time not true, ended up waiting more than an hour
* Food showing up cold, not getting any refund for it
* Food items missing, not getting or barely getting a refund
* Food just not showing up???
*Waiting for hours to get a response from the customer service, but then getting the most useless response known to mankind
This is just a few of the highlight from my list Wolt, but I think you understand by now.
I don’t know why I keep coming back to you, my friends say I have a bad habit of going back to the wrong guys, and I think that’s the deal with us. You gaslight, lie and ghost. 3 of the major red flags.
So I think I have to think about myself, and part our ways. You need to do a lot of work on yourself, before hoping to win someone back.
Maybe do some reflecting as to how you were great in the beginning, and what caused what you are now.

Wolt should be closed down.
They are partnering with restaurants but aren't able to work together as a unit.
Every time something is missing in our orders, we are told to contact support through the Wolt app, but very conveniently they aren't likely to reply.
If you are lucky and 1 out of a 100 times, you'll receive Wolt credits in the same value of the items missing in the order. No extra services, no new delivery of the forgotten items nothing.
Contacting the restaurant to get any form of help isn't something they can do. So the restaurant also won't take responsibility.
Kind a good money making machine for both parts, the only sucker left is the customer ordering.
Shame on you !!!
