I would give them no stars. Disgusted.

I would give them no stars.
Matt has lied and stole my money and does not answer phones or return calls.
Basically he is a fraud and has cost me over $5500 by taking a clients money and not delivering goods.
Beware and do not use this service.
Find someone else.
No refund after 3 months of excuses

Worst transport business ever

Worst transport business ever.
Held my bike up for 3 weeks. Lied about being able to deliver on time.
Kept ignoring my calls.
Thankfully we had a tracker in the bike, the original owner had to go pick up the bike from a trailer lot.
Now Matt won't refund my money and blocked my number.
HORRIBLE BUSINESS!!!

Run Away as fast as you can.

Run Away as fast as you can.
This is a review for Matt (the scum bag) from Wolverine Cycle Transport.
I contacted Matt from Wolverine Cycle Transport on Sep 19, 2023, and left him a message. He replied on Sep 23. He was very nice and professional over the phone, and he explained that he charges $450 for the motorcycle transport to my location. He stated that he works only with people who pay upfront. I asked to pay 50% upfront and the final 50% upon delivery but he refused. He asked me to Venmo him $450 and he committed to delivering the bike within about 10 days. I Venmoed the full amount expecting to get the bike within 10 days max. Of course he did not deliver. I called him many times, left messages, but he did not call back. About 10 days later I get a call from him. He apologized that his car broke down but promised that I would have the bike before the weekend. Again, he did not deliver. I called, left messages and texted but he wouldn’t return my calls. Another 2 weeks go by, and he finally answered my call. (I called him almost every day for one full month. He stated that his truck broke down and that I am causing too much drama. I said that I have no longer faith in him and asked to get my money back. He promised Venmoing it immediately. A day passed and no money from Matt. I then sent him another text stating that I plan to get my lawyer involved because I do not like people stealing from me. This time, on November 1st, 2023, he did Venmo me the money.
I believe Matt is not an honest person and the only reason why he finally returned my money was threatening legal action. I highly recommend that no one use this guy, even if he quotes you a low price and promises a prompt delivery.

As many others have said

As many others have said, beware of this company. In September of 2022, I contracted with Wolverine Transportation to purchase and transport a motorcycle from Seattle to my home in Central Texas. On 9-29-22, I paid Wolverine Transportation $5,775 which was the cost of the motorcycle and transportation fee. He immediately confirmed receiving the money via email, and said that it would take about a month or so to deliver the motorcycle. After many conversations and text messages I still don't have the motorcycle. On 1-26-23 he offered me a full refund to which I agreed. He's never returned my money after numerous calls, texts and emails. He still won't pay me back or contact me. As far as I am concerned, he is a thief. DO NOT USE WOLVERINE TRANSPORTATION! I am trying to serve him papers to sue him, but he apparently has moved and won't man up and contact me. STAY AWAY, STAY AWAY!

Absolute Scumbag

I'm here to repeat what everyone else has tried to tell you already. Do not do business with this piece of sh** scumbag. He will have no problem responding to you while trying to get you to pay. Once you have paid, it will be impossible for you to contact him.

I had used Matt twice in the last 5yrs with little to no issue so I had no reason to search out the reviews for Wolverine Cylce Logistics. I sent him $800 on February 27th. He said he would pickup the bike within two weeks. Well, weeks went by with me trying to get in touch with him with no response. I finally heard from him 5 weeks later. He admitted to my pickup being overlooked and missed. Again, he said he would pick it up within two weeks. Needless to say, I never heard from him again. I've reached out to him via email, text and phone calls to get a refund for my money with no response.

After finally giving up , I booked my pickup with another carrier (Powersport Haulers Inc) on a Saturday. They picked up my bike on that Monday and I had the bike in 10 days. This was a shipment from CA to ME! That's how it is done.

Broken promises

I sold a motorcycle in August, to be shipped from California to Texas. Wolverine picked it up on a Sunday and the new owner took delivery 5 days later. WOW, super-fast service! I bought a motorcycle that same week, to be shipped from Ohio to California.
Wolverine gave me a quote that was $500 better than any other quote out there, and they have a nice trailer to transport your bike. Considering their price, and assumed quick delivery, I didn’t bother to consider the poor previous reviews left by others. Wolverine picked up the bike in Ohio in October, it sat in their Texas facility for a month before making it to the west coast.
Ok, if the price is good for you, and you are ok with waiting for delivery, go for it. Wolverine is good for that if the savings is worth it to you. If I was done here, I would have given them 4.5 out of 5 stars.
Here is where it goes bad.
When the bike was delivered November 19th, I told the delivery guy to call or text me before he unloaded, I could help him unload and/or make sure he made it to my correct address. GPS sucks sometimes, as it indicated that he was at his destination, when actually he was at least 50 yards downhill.
When he arrived, he proceeded to unload my 550lb motorcycle. When he did let me know he arrived, I went outside and didn’t see him anywhere, until I walked around the corner of the complex, to see him pushing it uphill. I told him it might be a good idea to just put it back in the trailer and drive up.
He didn’t want to, since it was a heavy motorcycle. I agree, it is a beast. Sure, we could have started it and rode up, but knowing the engine warning light was on, I wasn’t about to start a bike knowing something needed attention.
To get to the point, he dropped it. He felt bad about it and it was an accident. That’s fine, accidents happen. No bad feelings towards him.
As a result of the droppage, things were broken/damaged. I bought and replaced the broken bits and Wolverine agreed to reimburse me for these costs.
Luckily it was only a parking lot drop, so damage was minimal.
I paid $475 to replace the damaged parts. (Half of an engine guard, a hand guard and a cosmetic piece on the exhaust. The engine guard did what it was supposed to. Without it, the damages would have been much worse.)
There have been numerous communications and broken promises for reimbursement, since bike was delivered. I have copies of the text messages still, and receipts which I provided to Wolverine.
So, here is it, April. All those broken/damaged bits have been replaced at my expense.
Its not so much about the money. Its cheap compared to all the other reviews out there. Its about customer service, doing what you say, sticking to a commitment that you made.
Wolverine, you owe me $476.10.
I cant force you to pay. You are not accredited by the Better Business Bureau, so nothing they can really do.
It’s a shame really, Matt, the owner, seemed like a good upstanding guy and a pleasure to do business with, initially. I have given them plenty of opportunity to resolve this matter, or at least reply back to my text messages (Their voice mail is full)
Matt, you let me down, dude.

The driver showed us pictures of the bike before he delivered with the previous damage. He said at delivery he felt intimidated so he said whatever you told him to in order to leave. He was a young kid and has since been let go, but the damage was not done by him at delivery according to him.

Great service

Great service. Matt got the bike to me in mint condition. He even whipped it down for me with a detailing rag and helped me get it into the garage.

Great service

They did a great job for us and delivered my son’s bike in time for Christmas! We were amazed that even during the holidays Wolverine took our shipment with a strict deadline for delivery by Christmas. Other companies were quoting 3-6 weeks and an up charge to deliver over the holiday. The absolute best service! I would recommend and will use again.

Please do not EVER use this company

Please do not EVER use this company. It was the worst customer service, biggest lack of communication, and most damage from delivery we have ever experienced.

We needed our motorcycle shipped from TX to PA, and I only read the reviews on UShip. I am so sorry I did not read other sites, as we had a terrible experience. We contacted Wolverine and they got back to us quickly and picked up our Yamaha on 5/24/2021 with an estimated delivery of 10 days. We hadn't heard anything so I called and left messages on June 8, 12, 24th, and July 6th. I also sent an email on July 3, and the return email (July 6) said the truck had a warranty repair issue but it was back on the road and the bike should be delivered by the end of the following week (July 16th).

Still no delivery, so I emailed on July 16th and got a return email that day stating the truck had just left Texas and delivery would be in 7-10 days. I got an email and a phone call late July 27th stating that the driver had knocked at the destination address but no one answered. The phone number was incorrect, and my husband did not answer their call (that part was on us). I got ahold of the recipient, who was home and took possession of the motorcycle.

The roll bar was bent, and had dented the fender. The delivery person as well as the owner (via phone) argued with the recipient that they did not damage the bike, it had been picked up that way. I have the signed Bill of Lading stating there was NO DAMAGE at pickup. The owner began swearing and insisting the damage was not their fault and they refused to do anything about it. The recipient threatened to call the police, and the delivery men got in the truck and drove away.

If it was worth pursuing, we would sue this company. Instead, I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, and will post this review everywhere it is relevant.

Wolverine is the worst of the worst

Wolverine is the worst of the worst. I have been shipping motorcycles for 15 years and by far is the worst company I had to deal with. Matt and his wife Marisol are dishonest, don't return emails, texts, voice messages and their phone is often disconnected (not a good sign). They constantly lie and they always have some kind of emergency that will delay your shipment. I tried to support the small independent guy even if their prices are not cheaper that any of the big companies. Big MISTAKE. If you want avoid headaches, delays and have your bike held hostage stay away from them and deal with reputable companies. I am still waiting for a refund from 6 months ago.

Hello, unfortunately I have no clue who you are since we have never had a bike in transit for 3 months. Our company makes money going coast to coast twice each month and there would be no reason for a shipment to take that long en route. If you care to use your real name then maybe I can address any real complaint you may have with your shipment. Take care, Marisol
