I use Wool Warehouse all the time they are my go to wool supplier, I’m a bit disappointed with the New King Cole Chunky Hedgerow yarn, I’ve crocheted a beautiful blanket in the shade Crocus and almost finished a blanket in the Wildberry shade. In this yarn on every ball of 200g yarn there has been at least one break in the wool and often the colour change does not flow with the theme wool. It’s very disappointing in the changing colours of the wool when there is a break and when rejoined the change in colour hasn’t continued, so the colour change is broken and it changes the look of the blanket. I’ve purchased 5 balls of 200g in each colour (10 balls in total) there has been at least one break in each ball.

Order placed Monday delivery next day Tuesday at no extra charge, good prices, well packaged, organza bags your choice but a lovely touch at no extra cost, excellent choice of yarn. Very happy Highly recommend and will buy again 😃

Having been a "knitter" for many years and purhased yarn from various Companies I have never received an order in such a lovely bag! Delivery excellent and was well packaged. Will most certainly used again. All just wonderful so many thanks.

My wife ordered online, there was a slight problem so we rang and spoke to a lovely lady who was very patient and sorted the matter out for which we are very grateful. The wool arrived promptly and my wife is very happy with its quality. Always go to the wool warehouse for our wool , the service is brilliant.

My first time buying from the Wool Warehouse and will certainly be buying from them again. Great service and fast delivery. I love the bag my wool was delivered in. I was looking for wool this time but am excited about what other products I am going to find as I am also a quilter.

I am a regular customer of Wool Warehouse because they are just awesome. Their Attic 24 blog and kits are unbeatable value, their prices are competitive (I've not found cheaper but there may be) and their customer service is great. It is my first port of call for any crafty project be it wool, fabric or any kind of tool or haberdashery.

PS: I ordered next day, and it came next day. However, apart from the dispatch time their service is nice. Hence updated stars.

Regarding experiences about their delivery time, you'll find some people who are not satisfied with this company's performance below. I would advise everyone to leave feedback about experiences with delivery times here, if good or bad, to make it transparent.

Ofc there is always the "higher volume of orders" excuse, but as a reliable shop you'll have to be prepared for that. We live in times of online deliveries being standard. It is not standard to dispatch orders in a reasonable time only if you paid for expedited postage. You would expect a company like this to dispatch on the day of the order.

My first order was sent 3 days later.

I placed another order with next day delivery, and it really arrived the next day.

My recent order I placed on Sunday 12/01/25, and today, Thursday 16/01/25 it was dispatched.

I'm changing this overall review to 3 stars. It's a good company, but the processing time for deliveries are too long for a 4 star review.

I am an avid knitter and buy a lot of wool and tools online. Every time I’ve used Wool Warehouse they have given me excellent service. I have absolutely no complaints at all.

We have shopped from them several times.

Be warned: Delivery and Dispatch are two very different things for them!

You have those options for next day delivery, but when they "dispatch" can be days after the order is placed.

What is then the reason to pay 24h Courier or RM then? None!

Very unreliable, in fact you have no idea when you will get your supplies. Every single time we have a mess home, with my daughters over my shoulder full of "why", "when" and "chase them".

Really tired of this, its not worth the mess.

Response to their reply: They seem to redefine what Royal Mail 24h means. It is NOT standard, it is 24 hours. There is no other retailer that claims Roayl Mail 24 h is standard, this is a ridiculous statement.

I will have to report this to Royal Mail, as the Logo and Service is abused to my opinion and they need to investigate.

That play the system, and our intelligence.

Ordered yarn despite having had to chase up my previous order with them. I was given 3 delivery times and then delivery was cancelled with an email saying hopefully tomorrow. I phoned customer services who didn't seem that bothered. I was told they have 10 days from dispatch to deliver the goods and they will not chase up my order until then. That I could always have chosen Royal Mail when I placed my order. The previous time when I chased up my order (it was only for 1 item) I was told it was because they were busy with other orders. Wool Warehouse if you read this please could you provide my order? Also perhaps review the courier company you use. To have delivery changed 3 times and then cancelled really is not good company practice. Thank you.

Regarding email from Wool Warehouse.
Expecting a customer to wait 10 days for delivery or before Wool Warehouse will chase up the missing order is not good business practice, and then have to wait a further 48 hours for Evri to say where the parcel is and why it's not been delivered is not good. Evri cancelled by email to me and rearranged times by email which is why Wool Warehouse cannot see it your end. Please may I have my order and not in 10 days time? Thanks

May favourite online yarn shop :) great selection of yarn brands and colours! We have just ordered the full rainbow of yarnsmith chenille yarn after trying 3 balls before and absolutely loved it! Fast shipping and the prices are excellent.. would say i can’t wait to place my next order but my husband may see it!

This company is amazing.
Cannot fault them at all every order is processed and delivered in great time.
Even at busy times still get orders out in timely manner. I have ordered at other shops but non compare to woolwarehouse.

My go-to shop for all things knitting! The prices are, in my experience, very competitive and orders are fulfilled and dispatched very quickly so you never have to wait long to start your next project. I really can't recommend Wool Warehouse highly enough.

I just received my order from Wool Warehouse and I'm over the moon!!! I ordered from their own yarn brand called Yarnsmiths and it's absolutely awesome!!! Their own brand yarn is every bit as gorgeous as the more expensive brands, and they have a fantastic range. Highly recommend!!

Ordered very early Monday morning now Wednesday and still not been dispatched.

I thought with being such a well known company I would be safe in assuming professionalism and my order would be dispatched quickly.

I am going on holiday next week and wanted to take this with me. I've ordered from other yarn companies and this is the slowest I have come across.

Won't be ordering again from here.

In response to below when I placed my first order you got it out to me in lightning speed now I realise this was just a cynical ploy for first time customers. Also thanks for email insinuating that I use Amazon as according to you these are the only companies who can dispatch same day. As I told you in email response I do not use Amazon. I will stick to my 2 usual suppliers from now on who dispatch same day. Don't really know why I bothered with WW.

Just received a second email asking if I wish to cancel my 2nd order. I knew this would be their response! Tells you a lot about them. Yes I've cancelled and will reorder from my usual suppliers. I'll probably get it quicker anyway so thanks!

Amazing customer service, when I had made an error with my address, this was swiftly amended. Items were sent very quickly. Would definitely shop here again!

I have jumped at the chance for writing a review. I have recently become engrossed in cross stitching ~ and on a Google search for supplies discovered Wool Warehouse.
Oh my goodness. They have gone above and beyond in helping me. As I’m new to the craft~ I am pretty clueless. They have been invaluable with help & suggestions.
