Review summary

Based on reviews, created with AI

Most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many people found the user experience to be frustrating and time-consuming, particularly when applying for jobs. Customers frequently reported issues with the website and app, describing them as clunky, buggy, and poorly designed, leading to difficulties with basic functionalities like logging in, submitting applications, and accessing information. Reviewers also expressed dissatisfaction with the product itself, noting that it often failed to correctly parse resumes, required repetitive data entry, and lacked intuitive features. Some people also felt that the staff and the system's processes were inefficient, leading to issues like applications being rejected without clear reasons or personal information being inaccessible after leaving a company. Concerns were also raised regarding certain aspects of the application filtering process and data privacy.

I love inputting the same information…

I love inputting the same information 100 times over!! :D YAY!! Workday is a modern-day torture device. Surely, there is no way that they can save a candidate profile and have it autofill every application to truly be innovative and helpful. I love creating a hundred accounts and then filling out the same information from my previous 20 applications. What's the point of creating the account anyway?? Not for a profile; all that applicant information is enough for a personal profile. Not to simplify the process since nothing is saved for your next application in a different workplace. Oh, I remember how naive I was when I first saw the "use information from last application" option. I really thought it would populate the fields of my application with the information from the last. No, I was wrong. It only does it if you already have an application with that same company. I wouldn't know though, I've never used the feature!! :D Do You want to know my favorite part though? Actually, I have two! One, workday doesn't have my college major and I can't even type it in because they're so sure that they've included every single college major in their options that there is no need to give the applicant the ability to type it themselves. Well, if I can't find my major I'll just select "other" as an option. Think again, Workday has made sure that if your major isn't listed, you cannot list it because not even this is an option. I love misrepresenting 4 years of my life because the application software doesn't want me to type it myself! Awesome! Want to know what's even more awesome? MY 2nd favorite part, the skills section. Man, everybody loves talking about their skills. Especially when you have to type each one out every single time. It's always a blast. Workday would never simplify the process for its users. Workday does absolutely nothing for the application process. You're better off using any other platform.

It's a terrible system

It's a terrible system, and more elaboration is unnecessary. There are hundreds of reviews explaining why, it is just shi-t. If any company uses this system, you had better ask them why because no company is fundamentally sound or sane, and no person would opt for this.

250+ reviews and counting with 96% 1 star... need I say more

Companies... you are going to miss out on some serious talent if you continue to use Workday. New account for every new job, fields are NEVER auto-populated correctly, repeat questions, and always slow to load. By far the worst job application platform out there and I've seen a lot. Hey Workday, you built a product that is garbage... congrats!

why is workday such a pile of dog crap?

why is workday such a pile of dog crap?
no other system forces you to reset your passwoard everytime you log in, or create new ones unnessarily. which moron came up with this idea?
Its almost like the designers have no idea of the windows/browser architecture users use to automatically save passwords. its like going back to the days of the gramophone whilst the rest of the world is in the digital age.

Dog crap! that's the version that trustpilot will let me submit as opposed to what I really think of this application.

Worst app I have on my phone. Signing in is broken. Takes at least 4/5 minutes to log in with all the "safety measures". Can't book off weekends, even though my shift is on a Saturday. They use bots to trouble shoot. Absolute sh***

Soul crushingly bad

Filling out job applications using this garbage app makes you want to reconsider if you even want a job or not. Absolutely horrifically terrible UI/UX. You need to create an account for EVERY SINGLE JOB APPLICATION you fill out. You have to type out your work experience and education because apparently uploading your resume is not enough. It's laggy, slow, and looks like it has been designed in the 80's. It's surprising to me that any company out there still uses this garbage.

Oh I forgot, sometimes you have to fill out the same information again and again and again. A simple task that should be done with one click takes at least 5 or 6 clicks. There is an endless amount of terrible design choices packed in one software, so if they went for that, GOOD JOB!

Can I give 0 stars

Can I give 0 stars? For 6 weeks these guys took my court ordered child support and just held on to it, didnt pay it out just keeping it apparently
also very unresponsive about paying it back. Some chat bot they named rory responds every few days with very little information, I've asked for a supervisor nothing. I've asked if there was a government regulatory entity they report to no reply big surprise. They also took double union dues and havent fixed that either. Don't use this app

I am having other problems with…the user interface

I am having other problems with my Workday. I have just spent 2
hours fixing things in to fill a form! Just does not want to be filled in the
end I have to put N/A in all the blanks - then the form was accepted! Otherwise, document I have to fill out! and it is filled with ISSUES!!
- I have been told other colleges. I have to add my passport- as well
otherwise, I am not getting paid - the onus is on you the individual -
to know this, and find it and fill it out. Normally in a German based
company. I have transferred the documents to the bookkeeping - people and
it's done!!!! I don't have to think about it anymore. Come the 27th or
29th I'll be paid! Is there way not to fill out anything ever again on
the Workday as it is a massive waste of my workday time - pun intended! I
have just tried adding my passport. What a nightmare!
workday has bad UI is not at all intuitive is more difficult than it has to be !
is over-engineered and has a 90s feel about it. Leaving a blank box will cause a failure issue it is not at all intuitive.. Advice take the whole thing a bin it! RE: make it so you can just upload of your documents.. in a bundle or in a PDF and have Workday figure it out from looking at the images - parse the data not have me repeat it - Workday parces them for you!

Oh it's such a horrible platform, as you are going through job hunting you must register multiple times and you can't have a base profile that you can share with all the employers...
Putting or arranging your CV all the time, completing the same information over and over...
It is really garbage and I hate it, PLEASE - STOP USING THIS GARBAGE, this is a plea from the job hunters

After our company switched to "Workday" drivers have trouble to sign in to see our pays because numerous people had their paychecks short.
Out of blue "workday" just cut their ours
When I try to set up my account it says
"To access your Workday account, please reach out to your HR or IT department for a link to your company's unique sign in page.
More Information"
But when You click on "more information link" You get -
"We couldn’t fetch the page you were looking for. Please go to our home page instead"
Our office has no idea what to do.

Workday goal: Making life of unemployed people even more miserable

1. Too much data being gathered 2. No ability to reapply across different companies, which means, you need to set up A NEW LOG IN EVERY TIME and input 15 years of experience rewriting the CV you just attached (because it cannot read the data correctly) 3. IT FREEZES ALMOST EVERY TIME I USE IT

EMPLOYERS, please just use LinkedIn
