Review summary

Based on reviews, created with AI

Most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many people found the user experience to be frustrating and time-consuming, particularly when applying for jobs. Customers frequently reported issues with the website and app, describing them as clunky, buggy, and poorly designed, leading to difficulties with basic functionalities like logging in, submitting applications, and accessing information. Reviewers also expressed dissatisfaction with the product itself, noting that it often failed to correctly parse resumes, required repetitive data entry, and lacked intuitive features. Some people also felt that the staff and the system's processes were inefficient, leading to issues like applications being rejected without clear reasons or personal information being inaccessible after leaving a company. Concerns were also raised regarding certain aspects of the application filtering process and data privacy.

I would give a ZERO but it is…

I would give a ZERO but it is unavailable as an option. What has happened that we are no longer given the option to speak to a human resources representative! Workday is the least intuitive software program that I have ever encountered! The amount of information, not provided, that you need to know in regarding how to navigate the system is overwhelming! My supervisor does not know the answers either. Workday designers should be made aware of the reviews! All workday users give the lowest satisfaction score possible!! These low ratings are better than this program deserves!!!

If a company has workday, I'm not applying

This is by far the worst system I have used in terms of my job search. No matter what CV I have used throughout the years it constantly uploads it incorrectly leading me to have to go and fix it again myself. If I see a Workday account being used by a company I intend on applying for, it doesn't matter how qualified I am for the job or how much I want it I don't even bother. Not user friendly in the slightest, whats the point of applicants having to go through the arduous process of writing a CV only to have to start a new account every time and write out a new CV every time?? How it is such a large company is beyond me and if I could give it negative stars I would. Technology is here to make our lives easier, be respectful of peoples time.

This app is disgusting

This app is disgusting, keeps logging you out when it wants and asks you to change the password for no reason at all!! I promise you will never have your full pay check if you use it!!! It has security like FBI, as if it needs it. I am so sick of this crap telling me to change my password, honestly in the time of AI this is hilarious who even invented it??? They deserve a slap

Total garbage

Total garbage. Difficult and over complicated to use, it's not even beta testing level. Just clocking in and out 4 times a day requires multiple pages and steps each and every time. Hard to believe this was designed by humans unless of course they never use it themselves.

Worst job applicant system I have ever seen. Completely catered to only the companies recruiting without any care for applicants. Hopefully more companies will continue starting to use different applicant systems as most applicants don’t bother with such a crappy applicant portal

Useless

I don't understand how a company can make such a thing. Totally impossible to apply in a serious way. Unfortunately, I fear that, like me, several applicants see such possible jobs pass them by. Hopefully one day the companies working with them will see that this is a useless partner. For sure, I will never use their services anymore.

Form FAILS 100% of the time

Every single time an employer uses Workday, I know I will not be able to submit my application.

Without fail, almost a dozen roles and multiple attempts at every one, I get partway through the application and Workday simply.... halts. Something breaks.

It is not my internet or computer. I successfully enter applications through a multitude of other websites. This one is just broken beyond use.

Extremely poor functionality for job…

Extremely poor functionality for job applicants. My degree major is not listed in Workday's system, and I am forced to enter incorrect information that does not match my resume in order to proceed with the application. There is not even an "Other" option to select. Meanwhile, there are a number of extremely irrelevant and esoteric options. My major is not that unusual, so it is even more frustrating to see those at the same time. Given the use of AI screening tools in the ATS, this is likely flagging my applications for rejection. This isn't a huge development scope- it could be solved with a backend table update.

Terrible UI for applicants

I find the user experience of this job application platform to be absolutely horrendous. The interface is not intuitive and demands three or four times more time to apply for a job than any other platform I've encountered. It is so bad that I often skip applying for jobs when I see it takes me to this platform. Workday, in particular, is truly the most terrible interface for an applicant.

Data Harvesting, biased algorithms, backend workflows/AI process and abuse of employee and applicant data it seems in Illinois.

Workday jobs is horrible! If you accidently delete something on a job application you cannot restore the information. You cannot start the application over again. No business, educational institution or government agency should use Workday for hiring.

I HATEEEEEE workday!

I HATEEEEEE workday!! Every time I try to log in they ask security questions. Which I have done before, for security. The questions are ones I chose and remember. Everytime I try to answer they say I am wrong. The questions have one answer to them and I know because I took a picture just in case but they still say I am wrong. So I am not allowed to log in. What is the point in asking for security questions if no matter what correct answer it is invalid. Workday is the most inconvenient platform. I also clicked “forgot password” hoping I could change the security questions but when I clicked workday said “forbidden 403” with a blank white screen. It is actually BAD. Like very bad, is some child running this thing?

My company recently switched to WorkDay. The user interface and user experience from both the website and the app is so complicated. Simple task like requesting days for vacation or sickness is a nightmare to do, requesting support from both the manager and employee to try and understand how it works. I wouldn't recommend to anyone to use the softwares from Workday...
