A product that doesn't work and they want me to pay to return it. Firstly it didn't arrive and they didn't seem interested and when it had arrived it seems cheap rubbish and doesn't work.

Rogue trader! Beware.

The owner Richard is a deceitful liar. If you are looking for the latest Mercedes Bluetooth HFP Adaptor go elsewhere. He has already been taken to task with the advertising standards agency for misleading ads and will do the same if you ring and ask questions about this item. The latest version is B6 788 000. He will waffle on about all the versions being the same and the version he has works with all phones. Hmm Internet is a wash with Merc owner forums and their tales of woe with incompatible Bluetooth adaptors. You ask for the latest and he will send an old version with a pdf copy of the instruction manual. Old generation stock of dubious origin to say the least. There is a returns process and this is the fun bit. You have to first get him to agree via email only to accept a return. He will not do it over the phone. BE WARNED! INSURE YOUR RETURN! Best £6 I spent. I tracked my return to his door but no signature was ever gained. (See the other reviews.) Looks like he has a friendly Postie who just leaves everything in a box outside for him. Gives this man plausible deniability. PayPal refused to refund as no proof of delivery was obtained. Richard ignored emails so the Post Office had to cough up for their mistake in the end. I am not the first to have this happen of course. The Post office customer services were very friendly (once you get through on there premium phone line) and are monitoring what is happening with his post very closely now. I hope karma bites this guy where it hurts for all those he has tried to con. He has been bankrupt before and the way he treats customers he really does not deserve to be in business. One last point I would like to make as it has never happened to me before and I would add that it may be completely irrelevant. During this emailing and recovery process, someone tried to hack my PayPal account. I had not used it for some time. If you register your details on the WOA website, have the sense to use different log in details to the ones you use for your registered method of banking.

This company accepts return of faulty goods

This company takes your money quickly enough. When it comes to support forget it. They referred me to the manufacture of the device, but when the manufacture can't fix the item Wold of-accessories refuse to accept the device back for repair, saying its the manufactures problem.
Read the returns policy before considering ordering anything from them.

Fraud ! DONT LOSE ALL YOUR MONEY

My son who is 18 went on for a simple pair of shoes, the website said they couldn't process his order so he figured it was an issue with their website. The very next day when he went to use his debit card it wouldn't work. We went to our bank and found out not only could they process his card, they used it 5 times. They charged him 5 times for the same item and kept trying until they drained his bank account of all his hard earned money. He works and is trying to put himself through college, one pair of shoes cost him $500.00 ( what he had in his account) Happy Birthday to my son, because it happened on his damn birthday. DONT EVER BUY FROM THIS SITE.

Rude and unhelpful

I ordered the Mercedes Benz HFP Bluetooth Kit on 10th March expecting delivery 1 week later. It is now 21st March and after several emails over the last few days I still have not received my goods even though I have paid for them. I have repeatedly asked them for as tracking number or a copy of the first class receipt from the royal male and they tell me they don't queue up to get a receipt. All they say is that it has been despatched and I should receive the item "soon" This attitude is totally unacceptable and I will be complaining to the trading standards.

Don't bother with this company

Ordered a battery for a phone. Paid £5 for the privilege. They said it would be posted 1st class but after no delivery for 4 day I chased. Thay said they would repost it 1st class. After another 2 days still no battery. You can't speak to anyone - not even to buy anything - so I can't check if they have sent one or not. They will email you back after several hours but if you want to ask a follow-on question, you have to wait all over again. My strong recommendation is to give this company a wide berth!

Not selling Genuine Products

I ordered a "genuine" Mercedes Phone adapter. After being emailed a digital copy of an instruction manual I questioned why I was being emailed a manual as all Mercedes products are supplied boxed, with a part number and with the manual or instruction booklet inside. The response was " Perhaps it is because we are a online company and paper is a very old format for most things now". I then asked if it was a genuine Mercedes product and the company cancelled my order. The advert reads "Genuine Mercedes Phone Adapter". The product I ordered was definitely not supplied by Mercedes.

Battery advertised as Genuine/Original, but is it NEW?!

The Nokia battery arrived quickly, so that was good. After being charged it barely lasts two days, and not as long as the one I've got it to replace eventually. I suspect now that the word New was the vital ingredient left off the advertisement! I think may have been scammed..................

Thieves

Please do not buy anything from World of Accessories.
I bought a product for £299.99. I called to cancel the next day. I spoke to someone who advised me to send an email. I emailed a request for cancellation. I received a reply that the order had been cancelled. To-date (three weeks later) I haven't received my money back! I called the bank several times but they've had no payment from World of Accessories. I'm now considering legal action against these cheats.

Complete waste of time, absolutely useless.

Well, where do I start...

This company is a complete and utter joke. They have the brain cells of a spud and know nothing about customer service what so ever. They are late at replying, short and concise when replying to emails (don't give much information away) and are just plain horrendous! Waited 2 weeks for a cable for a Samsung, STILL NOT RECEIVED IT BY THE WAY and they claim that it was "lost in the post", i'm sure it is...

They said they would send out another cable (which I was happy about), they said they would send it "first class"... 5 days later? Yeah still not received it. They have got to be the worst company I have EVER dealt with. They are a shame to business and should not continue with this company. How can they feel good about ripping people off? I have seen the reviews on this site and I am glad that everyone is in the same boat, these guys are just scammers, as plain as day. Why think you can establish a company and treat their customers like rubbish? I will not recommend this company to anyone and I recommend that nobody buys from these guys at WOA. Go somewhere else and do not pump your money into these scammers.

Cheers :)

Unreliable liars

They claimed to sell genuine Apple accessories. That's a lie.

They don't react to email at all. The only thing they understand is a Paypal case.
I wonder that no one has sued them.
Their acting is itended fraud.

Don't buy anything from them, i've bought Samsung galaxy s2 Battery from them, even their prices is 4 times higher compared to the other companies same products in the internet, but when i received it i discovered it is a fake battery not genuine, and by making a little search on the internet i discovered that they are doing that with most of their customer, please don't waste your money & time in buying their products, and when someone who is called Richard from this company has contacted me, he was very rude to me, and he tried to make it looks like as it is my own fault and i didn't charge their battery by the right way, as if charging the mobile battery is a rocket science, and he refused to send me a new battery or refund my money!! here is their link : world-of-accessories

Scammers

All I can say is that I wish I had read these reviews, and those on numerous other review sites and even the Advertising Standards Agency who ruled against them in 2014 (Just Google 'world of accessories reviews') if I had I would never have given any business to this bunch of scammers.

I recently bought my wife a Mercedes SLK as a 30th anniversary present but as I work abroad I wasn’t home when she collected it and she told me that the Sat Nav didn’t work. When I rang the dealer I was told that although all the wiring was in place the ‘Becker Pilot’ unit was extra - £500 which I was a bit bit miffed about. A quick look online and I found the same unit at £300 from World of Accessories (WOA) so I ordered it.

I arrived home a few days later and when I went to fit the unit I found that there was already one in the glove compartment that just needed fitting so I contacted WOA on 17.08.2015 told them I no longer needed the item, apologised for the inconvenience and requested a Return Form as explained on their website. I heard nothing.

On the 22.08.2015 I sent another email requesting a response but I heard nothing until the 24th when WOA informed me that they had to have the unit back by 26th. I replied:
‘I can try and get it you for the 26th but I requested this return on the 17th.Please supply return number and I will post today’

WOA replied:
‘Hi yes that’s fine to send it back for a refund please complete the attached returns form using RA number ####’

As I was short of time (and because I smelled a rat) I paid extra and sent the unit by Royal Mail ‘Special Guaranteed Delivery’. I waited patiently for my refund but nothing appeared.

On the 2nd Sept I sent WOA an email asking if they had received the unit and they replied ‘No’. As I am now abroad again I rang my wife and got the reference number from the Royal mail receipt and used their tracking system. This showed that delivery was attempted at 10:40 on the 26th but no-one was available to sign for the package.

I passed this message on to Richard at WOA who said:
‘Hi that's very strange we are here every week day and the postman is authorised to sign and leave the post in the big box we leave out on saturdays. We don't have anyone that is able to collect it so would need to be redelivered but their is a problem that is is now well outside the 14 days we offer for refunds.’

I now see from other reviews that he has used this scam before.
As my Credit card issuer has agreed to pursue this for me WOA have now threatened me with legal action when the bank wants their money back. Something I would very much look forward to!

It is also interesting to note that the actual Returns Form which he emailed me and is linked on their website states:
‘We will only accept items for a refund that arrive back within 28 days of the date of purchase (Not the date of delivery to you).’
As I’m sure he will now change this I have already forwarded it and had it verified by my lawyer.

Below is a copy of my tracking from Royal Mail:

Richard Jenkinson of WOA is now claiming that Royal Mail did not attempt to deliver and that they do it all the time – allegations that the Royal Mail were very interested to hear as falsifying records of delivery is a serious offence. They are now carrying out a full investigation.

One of his last emails was: ‘
‘Your are wrong we have not refused delivery the Royal Mail failed to deliver and failed to leave a card something that they do thousands of times a day across the UK. We will leave it with you I suggest you get the goods back from them and as stated if we do receive a charge back on the day it is received we will issue a county court summons as you still have our goods and will use these e-mails and Royal Mails parcel status as evidence of non delivery. That would mean you needing to attend court here in Birmingham.’

I also got a rambling mail about John Lewis getting bad reviews but I’m not sure what the hell that was all about! Pathetic.

As I travel extensively I purchase a lot of things online and the majority of times it all goes very well. Unfortunately every now and then you come across a Pikey outfit like this – they need stamping out.

CUSTOMER SERVICE 0

I thought I was dealing with a good company but unfortunately I was wrong.
I ordered a charger for my I-pad early this year, I unfortunately was taken into hospital, when I came out the post office told me they had sent the item back to the sender, I emailed and Richard replied that when it arrived with them they would send it to me, I waited and emailed a couple of weeks later, Richard replied and said still no sign.
I contacted the post office and as I was not the original sender I could not ask them to do a search.
I again emailed Richard to request this.................no reply, I emailed again no reply,so I telephoned and spoke to a very UNhelpful man called Ian, well he said he was Ian but I think it was possibly the infamous Richard, referred to in other reviews, seems like pick a name for the day, he told me I was wasting my time because it would be in Ireland and crushed by now, I was lucky to get a word in with this "gentleman" as his customer service skills where dreadful, constantly talking over me and not letting me finish.
I once again called the Royal Mail and was told that they would have some form of proof of postage which they could work off.
I telephoned back, and was met with a tirade of being told that this was all my fault (sorry for being taken into hospital !!!!!!!!! HOW DARE I !!!!!)
My request was simple or though I thought, what do I know, could he please provide me with proof of postage and I would do the work, his reply, we send out sacks and sacks of parcels every day we don't have proof of postage.
I was nastily told to let it go,easy for him to do he is probably making millions out of us people who are looking for a good deal, I finished my conversation (if you can call it that) telling IAN or RICHARD that I am a nice customer, and would not lower myself to his standards. When I came off the phone I pondered this situation and realized this man must be inundated with complaint calls and emails all day that is why he reacts in such a vile way may I say IAN/RICHARD what goes around comes around, hopefully.
Sadly this man has no intentions of helping anyone, he is making far too much money to be bothered being polite or helpful.
IAN/RICHARD whoever you are have a nice life I hope you make your Mother proud, god help her if she ever rings you with a request, but then again she raised you.
I HAVE RELUCTANTLY GIVEN 1 STAR RATING AS I CANNOT AWARD NONE.

You decide.....

I have to say I made a mistake and ordered the wrong adapter for my iphone. They said they would change it and did for the exact one that I had sent back that was wrong. It took nearly two weeks for this process.
Since I posted my original review of this company on Monday, I have been in email correspondence with the owner Richard.
He is not happy with the review I have written as he said it is factually incorrect. It is not. I as I have said made a mistake and ordered the wrong adapter. I admit this. I did get annoyed on the phone when I called them as Richard never lets you finish what you are saying and does not really listen.
There was an email issue where I could not see the returns code that he was sending me, I admit again my mistake.
However since all of this Richard has been very rude and insulting to me. He is claiming that I am incompetent in my business because I made a mistake in ordering the wrong adapter. Like I said I was wrong, this is now getting very personal.
He has told me in one email to "go away." I described myself as being "Dim" on occasions as I can be I admit it, I ordered the wrong thing, I was on the phone at the time and didn't check the product, just saw iphone adapter and ordered for a 6 not a 5s, minor mistake really.
He is now using all of this against me and is threatening to leave my company a bad review because of the fact basically that I have complained.
He has been very rude to me and have said some unacceptable things. I have all of this documented on email so can back up and prove all I have said.
The main thing here is I am a customer who has said I am not happy and basically Richard at World of Accessories has treated me very badly because I was not happy with their service. I made an error that I admitted to, he has not. They sent to me the same adapter that I had sent back as it was wrong in the first place. And this is the result.
I would be aware that if something with World Of Accessories does go wrong, they are not as helpful as they could be in dealing with it.
I would not rush to use the company again. I have now sent the adapter back and asked for a refund. I will keep you posted on how long it takes for that. They quote aprox 12 days. Let's see.
I can verify and evidence everything I have said here. I feel bullied by this company and am sad I ever ordered from them.
23.02.15
Update. I mailed WOA today to be told that they will now not be refunding my money as it is outside of 28 days from the original order. As I said in the last part of my post I didn't expect a refund. The fact that the reason for this is it took so long to be processed in the first place is apparently irrelevant. Richard, took the liberty to insult me again today when all I did was ask when I would get my money back. I did say that if I didn't I would go to trading standards, and I will, to warm people against this very nasty piece of work.
Beware.....WOA is not a good company and will use any excuse noto to do what they are supposed to. I told him to enjoy the money and buy something as cheap as he is.
