Played since the first year of release.

It had a golden point just before Carriers came back into the game. I will always miss that short lived time. For the most part this game has ALWAYS been toxic.

Before Sub's and Carriers it was HE spamming Cruisers (Like Colbert). Now its Subs with lock on Torps and Cheesed spotting mechanics that render Destroyers useless. and of course Carriers are still pretty toxic.

I've played over 500 matches in carriers and personally done some very toxic things just to see for my self how bad it is. Its actually really sad to see what these game developers allow. Wargaming unfortunately is a very corrupt company, I have know about them for a very long time and even used to play WOT(World of Tanks) which surprisingly is a lot worse then world of warships.

Thankfully I've got over 8 Tier 10's without grinding or paying more than $60 but only because I know Wargaming so well. All their BS money grab tricks and BS grinding traps, because I played WOT for years and years, before playing WOWS for years and years. It sad how well I know Wargaming's corruption and dishonesty. Seems to be the new Status quo in our world these days.

It looks like fun

It looks like fun, but no. First, you have a hoard of warships fighting between all these islands...not realistic. Destroyers move like PT boats and launch hordes of torpedoes at battleships sinking them....so why have a battleship? they are useless. battleships fight miles apart not up close in the days of Nelson. carriers going in close to surface ships? They try to get you buy credits to get better ships. Glad its free, because I would not pay for it.

Dishonest

There was a glitch about three years back and the bank did something like claim the money back. I has already spent the doublons. Were talking about 7 to 10 dollars. That was in 2021. Just last week they find this thing and close all my accounts. Blaming me. No discussion. This is World of war ships, by wargaming. I make a ticket and they insist I have to repay them because "I had had an advantage against other players." Get seious Wargaming.I paid them the doublons all $10 or so because I had invested time and money into this game. When the accounts (4) were returned my big expensive ships were gone I found the reciept for about $105,000 doublons. Thats a lot, about $630. They said they searched and coundnt find anything. THis dragged on so I really searched and found receipts and sent them reciepts, dates and account names. So they had dates, accounts, amounts to show I had missing big ships or the Money from selling the ships. They perversly gave me an old ship from years ago which I had bought and sold. Once my claim was made provable by the above stuff tehy didnt reply. Scammers in the staff. Avoid this game. Dont know how prevalent this stealing is but No I dont trust them

Aircraft carriers or CVs have ruined…

Aircraft carriers or CVs have ruined the game. Only those that play CVs want them. As a battleship player it's absolutely ruined game play! You can be targeted before you spot the enemy or even fire a shot. How bad for mental health is it when you can do nothing about something in a game deliberately designed this way. Not to mention the non stop tracer firing cruisers like Colbert etc. Anyone with any issues should avoid this game like the plague. Also everyone is correct when they say bought ships are superior or else why charge for them.

This has become too of an arcade game…

This has become too much of an arcade game now and is heavily monetised. Players just rush in and die without thinking and then rinse and repeat. And god help if you raise how bad some players are on the discord / forums, it’s like you’ve just endorsed Judas for best disciple ever.
Shame because it is a game of great potential but has just become about grabbing money and turning into an arcade game. It’s called a strategic war game but in truth is the opposite.

Dissappear like a ghost

I have been a player for years and grind out game. But be aware of this game because ships will vanish before your sight. And then they will pop beside you and blow you out of the water. This game if you invest into ships now they have planes in 99.percent of the battles so even if you have anti aircraft you still be smashed. Game is crazy pay to play. Everytime I spot a ship and focus my guns ships dissappear, this game is trashy. Don't waste your money on it.

Ships are coming out from nowhere, then you are targeting a ship and suddenly goes to disappear . To the developer: get bags of Vaseline and stick it to your ass..by the way ,they use the software against the negative reviews players. Total scams

Money gets you advantages.

I have found the game looks after people who spend more money than people who don't in the way of how much you can score with your hits on ships. Spend lots of money on the game and your hits score high points, spend little money and most of your hits will be ricochets,, non penetrations and over penetrations. Spend lots of money and will be in the winning team often, spend little money and you will often be in the losing team. I guess looking after the big spenders is financially beneficial to them.

Trash. Don’t waste money on this rubbish. Dispersion has ruined the game. Despite yammy being the most powerful battleship in existence it is surprisingly trash in game. Corrupt Russian company

Historically inaccurate with rigged…

Historically inaccurate with rigged game mechanics that WG uses to promote purchses. Whenever new ships are added they are buffed to score higher so you buy them, then comes the nerfing. Combine this with a pathetic Russian bias (considering how little they ever accomplished EVER) makes it a waste of money.

Enough is enough

Enough is enough! People have put a hate on submarines, and Wargaming has embraced it.

They've made the game uglier, more expensive, and much more difficult for those of us who love subs and CV. REMOVE THEM IF IT'S SO BAD! What's the point of subs if all the aids are reduced to almost nothing?

You aint getting another penny from me until you guys change the last update!!. And i have spendt 100's of euros on this BS
