Overall a great experience. The team listened to what I needed and delivered what was asked. The only thing I wasn't wild about was the time line. It is advertised as average of 30 days for custom website, and whether that's calendar days or business days, I feel we were past that. Took about 10 or 11 weeks from start to finish.

But the final product is good, and the communication was very thorough, so I'm satisfied. But if you are in a hurry, you may want to stick to a template design instead of fully custom.

When I decided to start a blog I needed help creating it. I turned to WPBeginner and Michael and his team created a website that was just what I needed and wanted. I appreciated the training at the end on how to navigate around the site and edit things and add posts. I was a newbie who was unconfident in my ability on WP, but am more confident now.

I hired WPBeginner for a Quick Site Launch to get my website up and running. They did a great job bringing my vision for my website to fruition. The only thing holding me back from giving 5 stars is the fact it was not communicated that they would only be conducting business/responding to my messages between 2am and 10am (not sure where they are located but this time difference caused some delays). Aside from that, the team was extremely nice and professional and I was happy with the final look of my website.

Michael and his team at WordPress were very professional, responsive and they went above and beyond to make sure that the issues that we were encountering with my site was fixed to my satisfaction. They made sure to run several tests for accuracy before handing over the site. We were in different time zones but that never stopped the team from communicating and updating us ever step of the way. We are satisfied with the job they did and will use them if needed in the future.

After an initial video call (free) to assess my situation, I was given a quote for a "Quick Fix" for two issues which were getting more serious with procrastination - one being that I did not have a secure website. I paid by card on Friday, and got an email on Monday telling me it was all fixed.
I really appreciate that they just fixed what I asked for, without hassling me to improve a number of things which were not so urgent.

I asked WPBeginner.com to migrate our cumbersome existing website to a new WP site that I could edit myself. This was a very complicated project - we have a domain hoster that is not the website hoster. Security hoops like you would not believe. We moved from a complex CRM/CMS system to basic WP. I found a WP template, but we had major design changes we wanted. So, complex, customized, complicated, with multiple service providers and a hard deadline to move off the CRM before they shut down the website. I mean, really, what more could I throw at them? You're going to have problems with something like this, of course. I had an issue with the website template where I wanted what I wanted, but after emailing about my design and content frustrations, they did what I hoped for - they resolved it quickly. Would I use them again? You betcha. I'm very loyal to vendors who fix issues immediately. That counts with me more than price, more than skillset. In summary, great price for a big job, attentive and thoughtful communications, excellent customer service for my one issue, met my hard deadline with 2 days to spare, nice looking website that is everything we wanted and nothing that we didn't want.

I worked with WP Beginners both for a Blogger to Wordpress migration years ago and now recently to resolve a 406 error on over 600 pages that was being caused by excessive crawling from Semrush. I really appreciate the service and support, and the followups from WP Beginners. If you are having issues with your Wordpress website, or you've been hacked, or things have changed so much it's over your head, it really saves time to pay for help!

That's just one of the tools I have appreciated. I was using a WordPress plugin for customer service but started to dislike it, went here and found several alternatives with reviews. I do think they get affiliate rewards, so not absolutely trusted. Insights still very useful.

Tip for consumers:

I wish there were a way to leave a review on the WPBeginner site itself, but I'll settle for this lol!

I made the mistake of setting up my blog through Wordpress.com, not knowing that I made a newbie mistake in doing so. I knew that I needed to set up hosting, and that I need to migrate the site, but trying to do it on my own was super confusing.

Not to mention, because I didn't have a business membership on Wordpress.com, my options were limited and I couldn't use the migration plugin from Siteground.

I checked out WPBeginners article about how to migrate your site from Wordpress.com, and they had a few affiliate links for different hosts they recommended. Bluehost seemed to be the big one, but I opted for Siteground instead.

I then requested help with migration through WPBeginner.

Archana from the WPBeginner support team responded to my inquiry for help in less than 24 hours. I was walked through every step thoroughly, and the team handled all of the heavy lifting. Within 3 days, everything had been migrated and all I have left to do is transfer my domain to Siteground and I'll be good to go!!

That service was a lifesaver, and I can't say enough good things about WPBeginner. Amazing service, no gimmicks, and everything was handled beautifully.

It should be called Bluehosts wpbeginner.

Every guide they give detailed instructions on how to do things via bluehosts. Occasionally they will give instructions on how to do things if you are with another host. And every now and then, quite rarely really, they will tell you how to do things if you are self-hosted; with the caveat that they then tell you how bad that is and how you should be hosted and how great bluehosts is.

I've got to the point now where when I google a question related to wordpress I actively avoid wpbeginner. I get that bluehosts clearly sponsor them so they need to mention them, and that's alright in principle, but it's the insane structuring of the entire guides around their sponsor that I hate. They sold out to their sponsor and I don't like having that shoved down my throat for every single wordpress query I have.

I sent a query to WpBeginner, not certain if anyone would respond, let alone with lightening speed. Not only did Wendy respond, she really took the time to answer me directly and suggest more ways to solve my WP query. Now experiencing that once is amazing. But how about experiencing it every single time l write and ask something. Just pure gold these guys at WPBeginner. Big fan already.

I was pretty skeptical when WPBeginner messaged me to assist with my website issues but they genuinely just wanted to help me and haven't asked for any money. They even have a page on their website explaining how they do make money and it's nothing to do with their 1 to 1 support.

I was scared to touch my website for 3 years after my designer built it for me and I couldn't afford to hire him back; it actually got to the point where my work was so out of date that potential clients thought I was producing a lower standard of work than I currently am. I decided enough was enough and I needed to be able to add content myself and WPBeginner were brilliant helpers. They sent me tutorials, recommended plugins and even wrote me some custom bits of code when elementor was clashing with the custom CSS my designer had written.
