Teachers Are Excellent, But the Sales System Disappoints.
This is my third purchase with Wukong for my two kids over the past 1.5 years.
Overall, my children enjoy the lessons and have asked to continue. The form teacher and class teachers are always responsive, replying to my questions promptly and helping to resolve any issues quickly. I can see they genuinely put effort and care into their work, which I really appreciate.
However, there are a few points that make me hesitant to recommend Wukong to other parents recently:
• The sales approach feels too pushy and hard-sell. Sometimes it gives off a vibe similar to a scam or MLM company, which can make Singaporean parents feel uncomfortable.
• The pricing is not transparent. For example, when I first purchased lessons (over USD 1.5k for my two kids), I was immediately encouraged to top up more for a supposedly cheaper rate. This made me feel frustrated — if that’s the best deal, why not offer it upfront? Families with budgets would appreciate honest, clear pricing, and if the program is good, we’ll definitely buy again.
• The referral system is disappointing. I referred 2–3 friends (one even bought a course), but I didn’t receive any referral benefits because the system didn’t link their phone numbers to my account — even though they clearly joined through my introduction.
Overall, I’m happy with the teaching quality and the dedication of the teachers, but I hope Wukong can improve the sales transparency and referral system to build more trust with parents.

I chose WUKONG for it's strong pedagogy.
My daughter is Wukong student since 2022 and she can read and write Chinese now. Wukong has a good pedagogy with alternance of video, reading text, online exercises, speaking with the teacher and writing homeworks.
