121carhire themselves provide a good, easy to use, well priced site however it's not till you actually confirm you know who the actual company you book with is. We ended up with Record who have terrible reviews. Granted our far too small ready dented Nissan micra did the job and Record were decent enough - but it's worth being aware.

Efficient cheap service, some initial confusion on landing about car pickup offsite vs. onsite that was quickly resolved.

Was the oldest car I have ever been hired 3yrs old and 96000 on the clock but it worked and was clean n tidy and I'd say it was a grade up from the "compact" I booked Did mean that the fuel cost a bit more tho.

Everything was quite ok, but there is misunderstanding in rental agreement conditions: carhire site says there is 300km per day i can drive(14 days all trip=4200 km), but when we actually rented a car, the company said there is only 3000 km max for all the trip, and there is a problem with carhire conditions.

Some of the information turned out to be inaccurate. I asked a question and it was never answered however, I got the hire car I booked without too much difficulty. Service desk at Faro airport was overstretched.

Super cheap hire but the site doesn't tell you who you are hiring with until AFTER you have booked and paid, so if you want a national company, for example in case you need to drop off at a different location, you can find yourself a bit unstuck! Also if time is of an essence, having a provider which takes up to an hour to arrive at can be very inconvenient, especially when dropping off. I would have happily paid a bit more to know ahead who and where the provider was.
