Used 121 car hire as had spotted it on Martin Lewis site. Glad I did, everything was smooth and I got a fantastic price, including a free upgrade on arrival.

All as promised, and good value

The pick up and drop off was quick and easy despite the chaos around the car hire kiosk. The car itself was pretty scuffed up but that didn't matter so much. What did matter though, was the terrible condition the windscreen wipers were in, coupled with the lack of any screenwash in the water made it very dangerous after using them as water was just smeared across the windscreen making it hard to see. I'm pretty sure that would mean an MOT fail in the UK.

Pleased with the service and price paid. We paid extra for an additional driver and the toll charger thingie (otherwise you have to pay at the Post Office and it is a bit of a faff). This was all made clear when booking and we we book our own excess insurance in the UK. Ended up with International Car Hire - they definitely need better signage at the airport as we had no idea if we were in the right place and then wasted 15 mins in the wrong queue - a faded, tiny, tatty sign right at the back of the portacabin wasnt very helpful. There was just some confusion when we brought the car back as we were told to enter car park at the 2nd entrance - P1. What they actually meant was enter at the 2nd P1 entrance (there were 2 entrances to P1), so we got shouted at by the lady when we returned the car!!! Otherwise all was good and we would use again.

we booked a 7 seater from Porto airport - didn't get the one we booked but were happy with the car we got. Only issue was the long wait to get the car when we arrived.

Definitely recommend green motion. Price was the cheapest we found and customer service was very good. One small niggle would be signage as we weren't the only people looking for the office entrance. Would definitely use again next trip.

Website easy to use. No hidden extras. Whole process from booking, to collection, to dropping off was entirely hassle-free.

Being over 60 years old the only real problem we had was getting from Hatton Cross station to Flizzr with big suitcases and then to find out that the office was closed so we had to walk back again to SixT. Also it's not too easy to find on the way back to return the car. We were given a map after we had returned the car.

Don't purchase the insurance online purchase it with the car hire company I paid extra £26.00 on top of my hire price when booked online and it didn't cover anything on the car so had to repurchase cover with company itself
