Unable to speak with anyone

I ordered a wall mount bracket after having spoken to one of the sales advisors, to be fair it arrived OK but is too small for my TV. I tried to phone them but you can only speak to a sales advisor if you want to make a purchase. I asked the sales person to give me a phone number or address where I could retuen the wrong bracket to but she could not or would not help me. I have been e mailing on three separate days and did get a response to inform me that I needed one of their longer brackets at twice the price which I would have gone for but since then despite numerous e mails it is not possible to have a dialogue with anyone, it is so frustrating. I am now waiting to hear from them (seems like they will only answer e mails in the morning) to find out how I can return this bracket, but I am not holding my breath.

Useless!!!

Mr order has never been delivered. The customer service is non existent I have no help whatsoever. Will be contacting trading standards immediately after sending this review.

Good Company

I purchased a cantilever TV wall bracket ( A503BBLK ) ,and it arrived quickly. I was surprised and pleased at how strong and heavy the wall mounting plate was. I decided to purchase longer wall fixings as I felt the included fixings were a little on the short side for the soft block wall I have - they would be fine for brick. For a cantilever bracket to swivel the TV and keep it horizontal in all positions the pivot points need to be perfectly centred in each arm and one of mine was a little off. I overcame this by twisting the arm a fraction and it now works fine. I later purchased another small bracket from this company to modify a wall mount for a CRT TV to accept a flat screen and this arrived OK also. I gave this company 5 stars as I do not think it makes the brackets themselves and I had no issues with the order/delivery process. I would give the cantilever bracket 4 stars as it was not perfect. They are offering a free HDMI cable to customers who give them a review here , but it may be dependent on the star rating- the email about it is a little ambiguous on this point. If you are reading this 123brackets, then I do not require a free cable for this review.

Be weary of buying from this company.

A sales assistant recommended a particular bracket for my TV. On arrival it clearly was not appropriate. I called and the very helpful company manager told me that his colleague had got it wrong, told me to return the bracket for a full refund including postage. He told me which was the correct bracket and this worked. Now things went wrong: A woman sent me an email saying that they would not refund postage and that she didn't care that the company manager had ordered her to make the refund. She also said she didn't care that our company phone recording system proved that they had originally recommended the wrong bracket! After an unbelievable 45 emails she was corrected by Visa who made 123 Brackets give a full refund. So if you come across the same female, who simply ignores the facts and doesn't give a damn about customers or consumer law, you are in for a long slog. Good luck!

Great experience

Order was placed for 2 brackets for my monitors and delivered the very next day, tracking number was emailed so I knew what was happening and brackets were as described and excellent quality. Would def use again

Very happy customer

Bought cantilever brackets to carry a 47" TV which spends all it's time projected out from the wall and weighs quite a bit. Absolutely no issues with the bracket whatsoever. The fixings supplied were probably adequate, but to be on the safe side I bought a couple of expanding anchor bolts to ensure the bracket would not work loose with constant movement. No deflection at all and the bracket still works smoothly.
Excellent value and product.

False advertising and shocking customer service!

I ordered a universal bracket which 123 Brackets claims is guaranteed to fit all 40" TVs. I paid for a professional person to come to my house and fit my TV to the wall with the new bracket as recommended in their instructions. This bracket does not fit my Samsung 40" TV. Suprise surprise they use false advertising to take your money and thus far have not fixed the problem. I have read other bad reviews out ther but unfortuatnely not before I purchased from 123 Brackets so do your research and avoid this company like the plague!!!!

WARNING - items falsely advertised and customers expected to pay to return them!

I bought a TV bracket from this company which was advertised as "FITS ALL BUSH LCD26TV009HD 26" TVs" which is the make and model of my TV. I received the bracket to find it does not fit. I then asked to return the item but was told I would have to pay to return it. I asked for my query to be forwarded to a manager as I was not prepared to pay to return it when the item was falsely advertised. I was told to submit my query on the website so it would be forwarded to a manager so I did this only to hear back from the same person who I'd been dealing with all along and who was not a manager. She said there must be no managers available. This is a badly run company who rip customers off as it took that long to hear back from them that the 30 days ran out so they now won't accept the bracket back at all.

How can this be legal?

Below is a copy of my complaint letter which has been sent to 123 brackets this week. I don't normally complain about things like this and to be honest the cost is barely worth it. It is the way we have been treated, how rude this company have been and how much time I have spent simply trying to return an item which was missold to me.

To Whom it may concern,

I am writing this letter after seeking advice from Citizens Advice to complain about the incorrect item received and poor service from 123 Brackets.

I purchased item ‘A15BBLK Fully flexible swivel bracket version 1’ on 30/12/2014 expecting this to fit my Sharp Aquos 32” TV as the description of the item stated it was “Guaranteed to fit your Sharp TV” as do all of your brackets on the Sharp 32” bracket page of your website. However, when it arrived I found it did not fit our Sharp TV and after several attempts at contacting your customer services department I have been informed I need to return the item.

Due to the misleading description of the item and a violation of the Trades Description Act, I feel that I am entitled to a full refund of the bracket and return postage cost.

Despite several attempts in contacting your customer service department via email and including three 30 minute calls to your 0845 number each of which were ‘dropped’, I have had no direct response addressing this request.

Consumer Protection Regulations now state that if a consumer is subject to an aggressive or misleading practice by a retailer, manufacturer or importer of a product they could have the right to ‘unwind’ the contract, or payment for a refund.

I feel that the item description was misleading and that I am entitled to a full refund and that I am not liable for the return postage costs.

I have now paid to return the item under duress at a cost of £3.78 with proof of this enclosed and I would like somebody to contact me or issue me a refund for the full amount including bracket and return postage.

If you fail to respond to this letter within 14 days I shall be taking further action with Trading Standards.

Avoid - Item never delivered.

I ordered a TV wall mount from 123 Brackets due to the advertised 'next day delivery'.

The bracket did not arrive the next day as it was held at the courier (Yodel). After calling 123 brackets 3 times over the following days chasing the item, they didn't seem particularly bothered in investigating further for me.

After a few days I decided to cancel my order and request a refund - but was told it would not be issued until the item had been returned.

It was never delivered - so not my problem where it is now, but to be told I will not be getting a refund is extremely poor.

I have emailed them 3 times requesting the refund but to no avail - so have now opened up a dispute case with my credit card company to retrieve the funds.

Save yourself some aggravation and buy elsewhere!!

Appalling company do not use

Absolutely appalling experience with this company. No bracket, no response to emails and no one answering their 0845 customer services number which I paid for. They take ur money and disappear.buy anywhere else but here. It's a scam.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
The TV Bracket I ordered on 14 December was according to the delivery courier Yodel delivered just after 6pm on 16 December.
However it was NOT delivered to me. Worse - Yodel have apparently amended the details that relate to the tracking number I was given. Although emailed to me which has my full Christian and surname in the title the only part that now agrees with the original order detail is my surname!! The moral of this tale is do not use any company that uses YODEL to deliver parcels..
As previous reviewers have found you can not call this company and can only email if you have any sort of problem. So customer service is non-existent - so ignore all their claims about providing good customer service.
I have asked for a refund but of course with 123Brackets insisting on emailing they can just ignore my request.
They say they are still investigating with Yodel but Yodel have lost or delivered the item to the wrong address. 123Brackets have got my money but I have no TV Bracket!!! It is up to 123Brackets to get their money back from Yodel and REFUND me.
I will take the matter further if they do not respond to my request for a refund.

Excellent

I changed the short bolt for a slightly longer one, so I could get a lock on it.
My concern was, that with regular moving of the TV that the bolt could un-turn and fall out.

Bracket didn't fit TV

Said bracket "FITS ALL 22" - 29" TVs", which is technically correct if you don't mind the arms overlapping the edges. I have a small Sony TV and the brackets did not fit well in order for arms to be concealed behind the TV.
