The appointment at the showroom in Surbiton was very informative and useful for us to decide what doors and windows we needed. We met Seble at the ideal home exhibition and her knowledge and warmth made us return back to this company. Seble gave us lots of time and patience which was quite rare in our experience with showrooms.

1st Folding Sliding Doors installed a bifold door for us over a decade ago. When one of the handles snapped and a replacement couldn't be found, they very quickly sourced and despatched an alternative and provided installation advice. It works perfectly. Very grateful for their efforts.

Great behind the scenes organisation and a first rate service

I will recommend 1st Folding Sliding Doors to anyone looking for windows. I have done my whole house's windows with this company 8 years ago and I am incredibly satisfied with the product. I recently had a problem with one of the doors and they supplied me with a new part and a professional staff member to replace it for me. Please don't hesitate to choose 1st Folding for your house.

I had a great experience getting a set of broken bi-fold doors fixed.

Jenny prioritised the repair because the doors could not be closed with Dan doing a fantastic job of releasing and then fixing the door.

The repair did require a second visit to supply and fit an additional part but I was kept informed about this and the appointment happened on time.

Super service. I had a problem closing my patio door and was able to book an appointment very easily and when the service engineer turned up he fixed it in 5 minutes.

The service offered by 1st Sliding Doors is second to none. We've had our bifold doors in place for almost 9 years and on the couple of occasions we've called out the Service Team the quality of customer service and the actual on-site engineering has been exceptional. Recently the internal gasket on one of the doors became misaligned and Marcus himself popped round the following evening to fix the issue personally.

One of our beautiful sliding doors was getting a bit stiff. A surveyor was there in days & the team has just replaced the mechanism - all working silently and smoothly now. The team at 1st sliding did a brilliant job. Many thanks

I simply must extend a HUGE and warm thankyou to Jenny at 1st Folding Doors who really came to the "save the day" party by having our Cortiz slimline door repaired. We noticed Sunday night there was an issue preventing it opening/locking and it's Tuesday AM and it's been repaired. This is customer service at it's premium. So can we please get a round of applause for Jenny's proactive and considerate approach to sorting this out. It's a unique find to have aftercare like this... so for this alone, I am going to finally recommend 1st Folding. A shout out too the lads that came before 9am this morning to fix it too. Polite.. knew what they were doing and a credit to the company!

We had our bifolds installed a while ago by First Folding. Yesterday a contractor came to our home and opened the doors incorrectly, badly jamming them and leaving them wide open, and therefore our home open. On calling First Folding they first tried to help me solve the problem via a video call. When this was not successful they sent an engineer round who arrived very promptly and was able to fix the problem. This was entirely done out of goodwill by First Folding. We were out of warranty but their customer service was second to none. Can’t fault them. Thank you Jenny and the team.

Great customer service! Having had my bifold doors for 7 years. I suddenly couldn’t lock the back door leaving our house unsecured. This was very scary with young children in the house so I emailed the service team and in less than 12 hours a delightful engineer named Daniel was sent to inspect the problem and then returned to repair the lock very quickly a few hours later. He was very friendly and thorough. He even picked up on another problem I hadn’t realised and is coming back to sort this out soon. I am very grateful that I can now rest easy knowing the house is secure again.

We have had a set o their bi-fold doors for over 12 years and are still in excellent working order, however did have to replace the middle handle. The standard of service to make sure I chose the correct handle for the old doors and the prompt responses was second to none, as I commented to the service lady at the time, if only all companies provided such good service! As an aside I had a glazer in my house working on something else and he commented on the excellent quality of our bi-fold doors, 12 years and still going strong!
