This I tried to send to 247 but there …

This I tried to send to 247 but there system doesn't work.
9th May I telephoned ac autos as they were showing one in stock. They confirmed and charged my credit card. 12th May rang as not delivered. Told "will check with boys in the yard" no return call. 15th May "I just going out to the check will ring you back within 1hr" no return call. 16th May I phone and asked where is my carpet and I told Gareth that I don't believe they ever had this item just fraudulently took £27:97 from my card and asked to be refunded today. Lets see if this happens I am small trader working from home and have used your service a few times. Needless to say my experience will be relayed to colleagues and I will delete your contact from my favourites without a favourable outcome. Why are the contact numbers on your site premium rate? and why cant I get to speak to some one on your system the recorded messages go on for ever and with out any indication how to get to talk to a representative.

247 put me on to a breaker called …

247 put me on to a breaker called Jimmy's Japs Parts. Ordered a wing mirror which did not arrive. looked at there number to call them and it costs £3.50 a minute!! I found a landline number and contacted Mike!!! . Beware this guy is a complete nutter. I said I wanted to cancel and he racially abused me and said he was coming to my home to sort me out!!
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Absolute waste of time and money

I received two e-mails from 247 spares, with links to my alleged quotes. So I clicked on the link, noted the alleged quote references and called the alleged suppliers on the number shown. I was greeted by an automatic answering service and after holding on for some time, I finally gave up - and now I have received my phone bill with astronomical charges for these wasted calls.
247 Spares is a total waste of time and money and there is no option on their site to provide feedback or pursue a complaint against them - but avoid at all costs!

Dodgy suppliers

I ordered parts in the usual way and later received a "quote" from a prospective supplier giving a contact number which turned out to be a premium rate line charging £6.00 per minute. I attempted to contact 24/7 to check the veracity of the suplier but was unable to do so as it only accepts enquiries about goods bought and paid for. At the time of this request, 24/7 has 6991 reviews all of which are 5 star one liners from unidentifiable reviewers. Unrealistic! On the face of it, it would appear 24/7 do not check the suppliers registered with it making every purchase a gamble and fiddles its reviews. Just be very wary.

Comment on 247 Spares

I ordered a spare part through this company, who passed my request to a supplier. They sent a defective pattern part and agreed to send a replacement. Nothing ever turned up.
Now I am trying, without success to get a refund.

Their supplying company was Mazda and Mitsubishi Spares Ltd, who also do not respond or answer phone calls.

Make your own judgement!

Lost 300 £ with 247Spares and Jim's Jap Parts

I searched by google for a rear wheel suspension arm for my Hyundai Santa Fe. One hit came through 247Spares, the quoter being "Jim's Jap Parts" (Birmingham). I sent a photo of the needed part to Jim's Jap parts, and they told in phone: "We have got it". Prepayment to their bank account was required , because "foreign credit cards are not accepted". I pad in good faith. When the part arrived, it was a completely different from the photo, useless piece of metal. Jim's Jap parts doesn't relpy my emails, and their telephone stopped working when I try to call, They simply don't pick up the phone. I filled in the dispute form on 247Spares web pages, got a confirmation that the case is being worked on, but there is no response from 247Spares inspite of my repeated enquiries. / How come do British auhorities allow such cheaters to continue in business? / Veikko, Finland

BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE.

Need an engine. Got nothing except a £10 bill for premium rate phone call.
BEWARE of suppliers who expect you to just give your credit card details to them without any info on themselves.
BEWARE of people who won't take credit cards, only debit cards or Bank transfetrs.
BEWARE of people who won't email you with full company details.
IN FACT, BEWARE OF 247SPARES COMPLETLY.

What idiot built this website?

I'm trying to obtain a sat nav update for my Jeep Patriot Overland. I enter my (special) registration and the site comes up with a car I owned, also on that registration, nine years ago. I click to say this is not the correct car. The site then continues through my parts request, finishing with the information that it'll now locate a sat nav update for a 2004 Vectra 3.2 GSi. No, that's why I clicked "This is not my car". Then I start receiving e-mails telling me that someone (no contact details supplied) may have the update for the Vectra. The only means of contacting the company is via a dispute form - there's no simple contact form. It turns out to be impossible to use the dispute form as the error checking is so draconian that it rejects any form of fill-in that I could conceive. This is a nice idea completely ruined by a moronic website implementation.

Good service

I requested a quote for a rear light cluster from several online part finders, 247 spares being one, and the first portal from which I received a quote. The quote I received via email did not specify who the supplier was (would be good if this could be changed) and the number provided turned out to be a premium rate number (I found out after placing the order) however the supplier re-confirmed the cluster details requested, the model/year and that the cluster had no damage. I received the the cluster the next day with wiring and bulbs. The supplier provided an invoice and a copy of the receipt for payment. The cluster was in very good condition, just some light marks, not noticeable, as expected with a used part.

Total Ripoff

Ok so they found my part and sent me a photo. I phoned them, confirmed part available and paid. 2 weeks later I phoned again...the part had been "lost" but I got a full refund.
I tried again a week later. Same part, same company sent me same quote and same photo. I called them - we'll call you back - they dont so you call them. BE WARNED: 070 numbers are premium rate and these con merchants cost a lot of money to get you nowhere. Go elsewhere to get a part because Ive paid £20 for absolutely nothing other than empty promises and no parts because they lie about availability to get you to call.

Car parts

I contacted the receptionist for a Astra wing in blue. We asked was it the same colour as what we have and I received and email saying yes, we have the wing in the right colour. I've rang every day since Monday, it's Friday today and every time I've spoken to her she say's 'I'll check' and she has not rang me back once this week. So when I ring up today, she told us that she actually doesn't have our parts, but in the email it says you have the wing with the right code. & I also wanted both bumpers and wing mirror! I don't know what business you are running but your receptionist is out of order, pissing my around all week because she couldn't be bothered to contact me back. I am disappointed with the service, I'll be leaving a bad feedback!

Headlamp sent without packaging and therefore smashed,,,

The boss was exceptionaly rude to me on the phone ...
.as I had asked several tImes for a price and refused as it was too expensive....then after been let down with the time of delivery on my second hand part I applied again to 247 spares and ordered one to be delivered weds ..THEY KNEW I COULDN'T WAIT TILL FRIDAY....I live rural as I explained and needed my car....I am a single mum.
THEY SENT THE HEADLAMP WITHOUT ANY PACKAGING AND GLASS SIDE DOWN so of course it broke in transit...THIS WAS NO ACCIDENT
when I rang them on the weds they said it was the couriers fault and they would send another to be delivered ON FRIDAY the second part was sent encased in bubble wrap and thick cardboard as you would expect....no company sends headlamps without packaging and glass side down...this was a deliberate act because he was annoyed at me...I RECOMMEND NEVER GIVING THESE LOW LIFE'S YOUR MONEY.

Just Been Scammed - How do 247 protect themselves ( and us ) from Scammmers ?

I am seriously hacked off - I have just been taken for to the tune of £162, ordering and hoping to receive a Car Part in good faith, that has never turned up.
Luckily, having paid with a credit card and my bank being very understanding, the loss will not be financial, but going through this whole process and the stress involved is seriously annoying.
247spares have put line upon line of disclaimers distancing themselves from any financial repurcussion, but how can they sit there with this shambles of a business model when it is quite clearly so easy for fraudsters to enrol & then prowl on their website pretending to be spares suppliers ripping people off ? NEVER use this site - it is totally flawed.
