BEWARE - 24/7 a scam and so are the companies on there namely PEUGEOT CITROEN SPARES LIMITED
Used 24/7 for the first time after using similar companies and having no problems. Peugeot Citroen Spares Limited telephone 01254 690303 contacted me with a quote. So disappointed to find they are a SCAM and numerous websites state to avoid them, if only I had done further research before!! Contacted Peugeot Citroen Spares Limited on numerous occasions and each time was advised of another story, such as got lost/damaged by couriers and that the part would be sent out that day. To date I have not received this. Contacted 24/7 on their telephone number (at premium rate). After going round and round on the automated system I eventually got through to a person who said that they could not help me at all. I said surely they should take some steps to remove scammers from their site and she just laughed at this. Obviously they don't care if they have scammers and are not bothered about the poor reputation of their site.
247 spares and Dewsbury Auto Salvage Ltd
Contacted 247 to search for two parts and received one quote. Supplier was Dewsbury Auto Salvage Ltd. On contacting the supplier, they refused to sell parts as quoted. Stated that the system, presumably 247, had somehow got the wrong quote. Having spent money on an expensive call through 247 I was unable to complete the deal meaning an unnecessary cost to me which I would like refunded. Tried to contact 247 and you cannot set up a dispute unless you have actually gone through a transaction. No other way of contacting them as far as I can see. Do not use 247 or Dewsbury Auto Salvage who have received very bad reviews elsewhere as well
Issue with company suppliers
PLEASE TAKE A MINUTE TO READ THIS BEFORE BUYING ANY PRODUCTS
24/7 spares did the job as i had requested which was to send my details to relevant garages which then will contact me when they have the relevant parts however like many i have only found since buying car parts a lot of this company's suppliers are FRAUDSTERS, the company that contacted me had very in-depth details of my car including the registration, however they had sent me the wrong parts and after only had them for two days i had found they were completely the wrong ones, and when i asked for a refund as i had not only found cheaper ones but could see the ones i was buying, the staff were most extremely rude despite me being over polite to them. Further more, they were unhelpful with the little they had to do as well as getting the parts manager to authorize this refund which have not had along with an email/phone call. "Japanese ACC & German Car Solutions Ltd" put '24/7 spares' to shame and unfortunately for 24/7 i will not be using your company again and will advise all friends and family not to use them either!
Engine Scam
Be careful about submitting requests for replacement / reconditioned engines to 247spares.co.uk. Customers in various forums are reporting that they have been contacted by scammers after doing this. Never pay in advance by bank transfer and always insist on using a credit card.
FPS Spares Romford- excellent
Needed a new part to fix my windscreen wipers. Got several quotes but FPS were able to deliver it next day (Christmas Eve!) Arrived as promised, well wrapped and a mechanic fitted it for £30. Saved myself over £100, and meant I could see where I was going over the rainy Christmas season.
Looking at other reviews...I didn't phone them, they phoned me. About 10 companies in all, two of which were quite close by, so maybe try that and go and see the part to be sure.
Salford Auto Spares.
I recently ordered a spare tyre kit from Salford Auto Spares through 247 Spares web site. After reading mixed reviews I was apprehensive particularly as the company was so far away. I called Salford Auto Spares to make sure the part was the correct one. The lady who answered was very helpful, my goods arrived to my home within two days as promised. Well done and thank you Salford Auto Spares.
Brilliant service
Saw some mixed reviews after I bought my part which made me nervous. However helpful brilliant communication, said when it would arrive and everything perfect. Hope the part works but will use again.
Beware
I searched for wing mirror on their website and on the next day i got message from them that they have found the item i was looking for and sent me a number to call and find the best deal so i checked the number on Internet it was a premium number the call cost was £1.50 a minute. After few days i got a call from them it was normal business number so i paid for the mirror and been told that the delivery will take 1 week but i waited for it more than 3 weeks and after receiving it i called them for receipt but they never sent one. Please avoid buying from them. Headache
Customer Service
I was stung for £14 in calls because I didn't realise (it isn't made absolutely clear) that the calls were at a premium rate. I phoned one supplier who had quoted, based on the exact part number give and the quote was very good. I rang to get confirmation of the part number 5 times! Each time I was either left hanging or was told to ring back. I complained to 247 Spares once I found out that this supplier didn't even have the right part! Reading the reviews, I too thought that I had been the victim of a scam! 247 Spares customer services did get back in touch, very quickly and wanted to know the details so that they could investigate why this had happened. They are dealing with this now and have indicated that, as I was able to provide proof of the calls and the costs, that they would reimburse me. If this does happen then I will be very happy with the outcome, as long as they learn from this and make sure that there adopted suppliers don't let them down by providing a poor and inadequate service.
247 spares and GM Spares
Terrible company, terrible service , terrible customer service, terrible delivery company Palletways. Left feeling like I have been conned.
terrible company
This is the worst company I have ever dealt with i ordered an air injection pump by phone and on day delivery was due I received text to say it was delivered not to me it was,nt ,Contacted company and was told they would look into it never heard any more.
After i complained it was brought to me by someone from a different address (though clearly addressed) but then not what I ordered different part entirely had to get it from different source and cheaper.
That is two faults then it appears company could,nt care less dont buy from 247 spares they need to use a reliable delivery firm as well
Very dishonest
Ordered a power steering pump and power steering rack of them, got a maga milage power steering pump in working order only for 3 days then went. Got a power steering rack one of the side were bended. It's waste my money and time. I won't use them again!!!
Part sent wrong, unwilling to assist. Avoid!!
Ordered a part for my hyundai. A garage sent wrong part. So I rang 247Spares to complain as garage was unwilling to send a replacement. Ringing 247Spares is a mistake. Be prepared to spend 10 mins waiting on a 0845 number, only to be told by a recorded message that they are not liable for incorrect or faulty or refunds between customers and garage. WTF!! Extremely upset and now am with a part which is worthless having spent over £100. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!
DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY.
Ripped off by R A Motors through 247 spares
Ordered part and paid £19.80, I know it not a lot of money, but when the part never arrives and you ring them to have the phone put down on you. you feel ripped off. You need to trust these people. So my recommendation is not to purchase goods through R A Motors Ltd from Benfleet 07034713633 and try another company.
Ripped off
I ordered a catalytic converter for my Golf. It took well over week to arrive (was told it would arrive between 3-5 days). Part was not genuine. Sent back over six months ago (at own cost) and never heard from them again despite requesting refund!
Steer clear of this company. They should be reported to rogue traders.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!
I have only given this company one star as it doesnt allow me to give zero stars!!
This has to be the worst company i have ever dealt with. They need a huge lesson in business and customer service.
I contacted this company as i required a replacement engine. They emailed me back with a price and assured me i would see the engine within a few days. 2 weeks went past and everytime i made contact i was always told the person dealing with it is Doug and is either out of the office or in a meeting and would call me back. Doug never called me back and i had to then chase again and again. Finally Doug spoke with me but gave me bad news that the engine he has is not the right one for my vehicle but the good news is that he has found the correct one. However if i wanted the correct engine i would have to pay another £160. As i was in desperate need of this engine i agreed to pay the extra £160. Again i was assured it would be with me within a few days, suprise suprise it didnt turn up. Two weeks later i finally received the engine.
I thought this was now the end of my dealings with this disasterous company but how foolish i was. I received a call from a third party company (who 247 traders sourced my engine from) and have now been told they are sending in a courier to collect the old engine. If this is the case then surely i am in my rights to ask for some money back as it is now a surcharge unit? 247 traders have informed me that i will not be getting any money back and unless i send it back to them they will not supply me with any form of warranty even though they have assured me if i buy the engine i get 6 months warranty!!
Bottom line is this company is so badly run they should not exist!! They will scam and lie to you to get your money and once they have they will give you a big run around, stay well away!!!!!!!!
Scam Artists
Supposedly had a quote for a car part. No details of the supplier to contact them directly, just an 070 premium rate number and another number which costs 10p per minute from a UK landline. No option to buy the part directly on line. Called the less expensive number and was on hold for over 12 minutes before I gave up. I wouldn't touch this company with a barge pole.
Completely Useless
Gave a Full part description with additional information explaining a couple of key points that can't be gained from just the reg number. Got over priced quotes incorrect parts and quotes from people who had no idea what they were trying to sell or how to try and get the right part Wouldn't use again ever.
Parts are more expensive than elsewhere
Recently I needed to buy a side mirror plate, I thought that 247 spares will be a perfect destination for my online shopping trip as I have used them before (few years ago). It looks like things have changed since the last time I used them. I received 3 quotes for my mirror glas with the two of them being the DOUBLE price I would have to pay in other big online retailers. None of the quotes were cheaper than the prices I could get elsewhere. Total rip off. Stay away.
Emailed me the phone number of premium rate scammers
Received an email earlier today saying my part has been found, Call supplier now on 0703 471 1435, just found out this is a premium number. Iv'e had to call them twice now because Gareth wasn't in the office? And there isn't a pen so they can't take my number?!? Both times I've called Iv'e been on hold for over 10 minutes. Thought this is a joke so checked the number, just to find it's premium! Thanks 247spares, after having a hit and run on my car, you've just set me up with a hefty phone bill too.
