No ideal payment available, causing additional delay in the order processing. Estimated delivery times are inacurate and take (too) long.
Great range of high quality products. Very good shipping times and good communication.
Would recommend.
Absolute Discrace
Purchased a printer which arrived faulty. Contacted 3D Jake via email (the only way of contact) and had no response. Emailed again and still, no response.
Do NOT buy from this company. Live and learn.
Over several orders I had one problem that they resolved without mucking about. There was some delay while they tried to get a glitch with respect to UPS sorted out, so I should acknowledge that none of my orders are urgent. I'm going to keep ordering from them. They seem like good folk working on keeping things going during the pandemic.
I'm based in UK and wanted reassurance that there would be no extra charges as a result of shipping from Austria. Ross answered my e mail within two hours and assured me that the price charged is the price paid and this was true.
I ordered on the 15th December (busy Christmas period) and delivery was predicted for 23rd December the printer was delivered by UPS on 21st December i.e. 4 working days.
First class service from 3DJake and at a very competitive price, faster delivery than competing Chinese providers and with the assurance that VAT has been paid.
Great response from Ross to two e mail queries that I sent.
Printer works fine as reported in many on line reviews.
Avoid if you can. I'm waiting for delivery over 2 months due to 1 item in whole basket not in stock they holding whole order. customer center non existen only email address. From my experinece horrible service.
A month and a half of delay, and they choose to notify me only 20 days after placing the order. Absurd.
Have ordered many times from them and always quick delivery, no unexpected duties etc.
It is generally speaking a great site, lets hope to god that won't change. On the contrary they have absurd prices on certain products, however all in all they do deliver everything they promise and that is what matters the most to me.
My packages from them usually arrive within a week if not sooner, even if I am at remote locations within Europe.
If you need spare parts fast with great packaging from a reliable site do not look further.
Good price, but there the good news ends. Delivery was a nightmare and 3D Jake would not help at all. UPS was the courier. I ordered a 3d printer and 2 mini filters, sent separately it seems.
UPS managed to knock on my door so quietly even my dogs weren't alerted. Then took it to a collection point, then wouldn't/couldn't redeliver. Collection point was very difficult to get to and I have severe mobility issues.
Then UPS lost the mini filters, I had to buy them from an alternative source when it seems that UPS lost this parcel (they were actually cheaper on Amazon and I received them next day with absolutely no hassles at all). Two weeks later UPS supposedly tried to deliver these mini filters, seemingly quietly again (in spite of sign on my door saying please knock loudly).
Where 3D Jake comes into this is they wouldn't help. It was up to me to contact UPS attempting to get them to redeliver, which they said they would but actually didn't. I notified 3d Jake that I had bought the filters elsewhere, they had probably been lost but I cancelled the order anyway and waiting for a refund. Then as explained it seems UPS tried to deliver two weeks later. So I have to run the saga of how to collect the xxxx things again.
3DJake told me they are happy with UPS and do not intend to change their courier. They offered absolutely no assistance at any point with these two troublesome deliveries, in spite of the large amount spent.
Will never order from them again. Its not worth a £20 saving on a 3D printer to get all this hassle.
Not sure what to do about the minifilters. 3D Jake seem to take no responsibility when things go wrong, and aren't prepared to help. I have not even been offered compensation in recognition of the hassle caused.
Think very very carefully before ordering from 3D Jake.
Bought a Biqu B1 from .uk site. Sure it took long to arrive. And like previous customer , the package was either been poorly handled or a returned item, or both. Carriage is bend and the after sale warranty card which should only be dated when item is dispatched wrote “20201214”. 😑
And also like previous customer, now going thru dispute process. I have to dismantle the printer but I have thrown away the packaging. The way their reply sounds like if return item is damaged (which already is) during transit. I won’t be compensated.
I can't speak highly enough of 3DJake. Really friendly service from Ross and Andrew: personal, engaged and helpful. Prompt replies with good advice and excellent support when something went wonky with my Phrozen Mighty. Highly recommended. And I don't say that lightly.
PETG filament was shipped in plastic non vacuum bag. Also 3DJake.co.uk is misleading because it's not based in UK.
Cracking site. Good price and my stuff was delivered faster than they stated. The delivery tunes can be a little slow but it is coming from Europe and they are very nicely sorting out all the import issues and costs.
Will be buying all my 3d printing stuff fron these guys (unless I need something very fast)
I would definetally recommend them, and have to others.
The one time I stupidly didn't check here first and what a ball ache it has been (only just resolved/concluded now). I was drawn into their website, items and competitive prices and an order placed beginning of Feb 2021. The order didn’t arrive as per the scheduled UPS date (which actually means nothing and the package went AWOL) and it did eventually arrive two weeks after that date (no tracking info). However, way before that point I got my credit card company to withdraw payment for a failed delivery and I rejected the UPS delivery as advised by the pretentious Ross at 3DJake in order to get a ‘refund’ but I had to wait until the items were returned to sender (fair enough). I’m glad I did reject delivery as the driver hoisted it on his shoulder (printer and x2 filament) rather than handling it correctly so I suspect all of the transit was also not handled with care. To top it off, I kept receiving emails and a final reminder letter chasing payment and threatening debt collection despite the items ultimately returned to sender 1-2 weeks prior. After contacting Ross yet again, all I got was a sorry for the inconvenience reply.
Please avoid and save yourself the hassle.
I have been informed by 3DJake that they cannot issue a refund unless I close the PayPal dispute I have with them.
This is total B***S**T If they ask you to do the same thing don't!
If they issue a refund the dispute is automatically closed by PayPal, all they have to do is click the Refund button.
This is a tactic only used by scam sellers to let them keep your money!!
Have ordered about 8 times from here in the past year and has been faultless every time. Clear and easy to use website especially clear when it comes to estimated restocks and pre-ordering products. My go to company for filaments
I've ordered twice from here recently and both times have been perfect experiences. I assumed delivery would be slow from other reviews but the price was good so I chanced it. Delivery was fast after all. Very happy
Perfect, every time.
I have been buying from 3d Jake for two years. Shipping to the UK have always been quick, v fast despatch and only minor recent delays due to Brexit which can hardly be attributed to 3DJ.
Customer service response times are amazing, I have had two queries on the past about products I have bought and on both occasions had an answer and a resolution within a few hours.
That level of customer care is expensive to maintain and deserves recognition. I would have no hesitation in ordering again or recommending 3dJ
