Contact methods for Customer Service Do Not Work!
I was sent the wrong sized shoe for my child and I need to return them. Customers are charged return shipping fees on this website, but this error was on the company's end, not mine. In this case, they tell you to contact them before returning if you received a defective or incorrect item.
However, when you use the email address they provide, you get an autoreply email stating that the inbox is no longer being checked or maintained. Huh??? A customer service inbox is no longer being checked?
They give you the option to do a live chat instead and even give you a link, but when you click the link to chat, it briefly opens for a split second then quickly closes and displays a thank you message. Before it closed on me I caught a glimpse of some sort of message, so I was able to quickly screenshot it to read it and they gave me yet ANOTHER email address to contact.
When you contact that email address, the email bounces! Is anyone dizzy yet? What in the world is going on???

Better don't even order from them!!
I ordered 2 pair of shoes ,they lost my package /didn't deliver it to the right place ,I tried to get in touch with them by live chat , it's not opening,tried to call ,not going through,sent them an email and they replied that I am using a third party shipping company and they cannot help me , which is not true ,the delivery was to my workplace in the docks.. So they are just doing everything but not to take their responsibility

Follow closely items of interest over time - was ripped off $96
On Jan. 16, 2024 I purchased 3 Birkenstock Sandals for $120 each for my triplet daughters.
On Jan. 19th, the price for the same item went down to $88, thus $32 less, multiplied by 3 means I paid $96 MORE on a purchase made less than 3 days ago and for which I have yet to receive the shipment. By the way, all sizes are available so it is not as if they have low stock.
Chatted with Shianna from Customer Service who said price adjustments can not be made. When I reasoned with her about some type of online credit, she did not answer my response and ended the chat abruptly.
I did make print screens of our chat and saved them, for my sake, as the chat format used by 6PM does not allow for a transcript (I wonder why ...).
So, needless to say, WILL NO LONGER purchase from them. Lesson learned.
UPDATED REVIEW (01/28/24):
Received an email from Shauna (Customer Service) explaining that, after verifying that the price drop occurred within 10 days of purchase, they will issue a refund to my credit card for the difference.
I thank you for the consideration for a customer who has done business with you for almost a decade.

Don’t bother with 6 p.m
Don’t bother with 6 p.m. just go to Zappos. I bought an assortment of sandals and needed to return 5 pair. It costs $34.00 to return them! And the shoes I kept were only $20. Cheaper than if I had just bought on Zappos. No big savings. Just a trip to post office and a big expense to return. Go to Zappos.

Horribly corrupt-- do not purchase from!
I recently purchased 4 pairs of shoes for #480.00, indicating the correct size on the order but when received, they were all one size too small--Strangely, the shoes are all marked with correct size (9).
--I proceeded to call them and their greeting states they're open from 9am to 8pm, seven days a week, but then are told to call back when they are open.
--I then went online and attempted to call their live chat agent but as soon as you enter your name receive a message that your session has ended.
--I then attempted them at the email listed on website and received no confirmation my message was received and that someone will respond shortly.
--So I decided to just send the shoes back just so I can get my money back and the UPS agent said the return label required that I pay the $20.00 postage.
This has been a nightmare for me..I'm not rich and now Im out $480.00 by these corrupt greedy ba--tds!. I only took a chance with this company because I saw they were owned by Zappos who in turn was owned by Amazon so I assumed they were legit.
I've filed a complaint with Calif. DA....will see what happens....

It's risky to shop here if you don't live in the USA.
I ordered a bag to Ukraine and paid all taxes plus shipping. The bag arrived defective - the logo was sewn upside down. The employee said that the free exchange is only within the United States. Obviously, it is not profitable for me to send it back at my own expense and pay for shipping again. In response, they even stingy to offer a minimal discount on the next purchase as an apology. No customer care. It feels like they have found a way to get rid of defective goods - send them abroad, realizing that no one will return them.

I have bought a couple of items from here before and noticed they were delivered by Amazon, this led me to wrongly believe that returns would be easy and free....
I was wrong, I have to pay sky high UPS prices to return an item that doesn't fit.
I will take my business elsewhere, not a good way to treat customers!!!!

Consistently Good Experiences
I've become a fan of 6pm for shoe shopping in particular. I've found that they have one of the wider selections of any website, both in terms of style and (very importantly!) sizes, and their prices are frequently among the best for any given style. That alone would keep me coming back, but they've also always been very prompt when it comes to shipping, which I appreciate.
You will pay retail prices for returns!!! Beware!
I bought a pair of sandals for $70 and had to pay $13 (cheapest option at USPS) to return because they didn’t fit. It’s not worth the hassle or discounts. Buy from other places with better customer service and return policies. I am mad at myself because Amazon was selling the same shoes for the same price. Never buying from 6pm again. Horrible horrible return policy.

One of the worst customer service ever. The company probably don’t train them very well and there’s the problem. Spoke with three people and the three of them were rude and no politeness at all. They are not customer service oriented. If you don’t speak English very well don’t bother in calling this rude people. Since this people only speak only English, don’t expect them to be understandable and helpful. They should wake up because English is not the most spoken language in the world and in other countries you have to learn at least 2-3 languages.
For all the money this company is making, they should have shipping free on returns or at least a very affordable fee for returns. I am not buying from this company anymore, and I’ve been their customer since 2014.

yes, the buyer pays for the return. but in my opinion, this is a fair fee, since many buyers order a lot of things and then return most of them.

I returned 4 pairs of shoes at once, in one package, printing out and including on the package everything I was supposed to print out and include. Three months later I am still waiting on a refund for two out of 4 pairs. It is not possible to talk to someone in the department that handle such things; they just send you boilerplate emails. I’m not complaining about the high cost of returning the shoes, which is just part of the bargain with a site like this; I’m complaining about the fact that they kept my money for something I returned. This was for order Order #113-3749917-5458641 and Order #113-4826337-7617040.

You'll Pay To Return Anything
They legitimately sell semi decent shoes, but have zero customer support. Good luck getting to interact with a rep if you have a problem.
You also have to pay to return any items which now costs $20 for a pair of shoes. They could get cheaper business rates than the customers, but they don't bother to. You aren't worth it to them.
Do yourself a favor and avoid buying from them.
Update: The response to this review is to refer to their return policy and claim they are a "deals" website. It isn't a deal for me to have wasted $20. I will NEVER buy from you again. Good luck staying in business.

Buyer Beware
Buyer Beware! Buy at your own risk. It is impossible to know for certain if a shoe will fit when you purchase online. While 6pm offers free shipping TO the home when the customer purchases over a certain amount, the return shipping policy is completely unfair and outrageous. I paid what was nearly the cost of what I paid for one pair of shoes, to return 2 of my ill fitting purchases. I am doing myself a disservice to continue shopping at 6pm. I'm done.

NOT A REAL STORE
Bought $800 about 10 pairs of shoes to try on, all arrived from other online stores like Zappos and Amazon. Shipping to return the ones I didn't want to keep cost me $170. I could have bought from Amazon directly and it would have been free. UNBELIEVABLE SCAM of a business model, they DO NOT HAVE THEIR OWN INVENTORY. An expensive mistake I will not make again. Do not fall for their "we're a deals site" garbage. Go elsewhere. This is not a real store, it's a drop shipping scam.
