Shambles

Arrived in Birmingham on Wed night. Had pre-booked a taxi but was 30mins late. Hotel pre-booked a taxi for 8am next day. Again 30 mins late. Booked a taxi to station and taxi did not turn up despite numerous calls and being told driver was on way. Do not use this company,

Unreliable

Very disappointed in this company. Waited over an hour for a taxi (which never did arrive) phoned every 5 mins to be told it’s almost there! Resulted in me missing my train AVOID

Second disappointing This is the second time I have had to complain about this company

This is the second time I have had to complain about this company. The first was Christmas when the car that picked me up was filthy and the driver stank!
The second complaint was 17th February. I had booked a taxi at 1pm to take me to catch a coach in Birmingham. As they had not arrived by 1.15 I had to ask a neighbour to take me! A message was on my phone on my return telling me the taxi was outside at 1.49 pm. How was I to connect with my coach at 2.15.?
A terrible company I will never use again!!!

I have used A2B for years I have stated to pre-book my taxis for the next morning I thought the whole pint of pre-booking booking them would be so you have a taxi for that time you booked ? So I will have to stop pre-booking my taxi now

If I could give 0 stars I would. Have used them for years and years but since they were taken over, they've been shocking. Called for a taxi on NYE at around 5.30pm and was told it was on the way. 6pm, phoned to follow it up and was told it had never been booked. Car finally arrived to take us a 20 minute journey, for which we were charged over £30!!!! Apparently because it was after 6pm on NYE, the fair was automatically doubled, although there had been no mention of this on the phone. I appreciate that if it had been later on, we would have been charged more, but the only reason it was after 6pm was because THEY had messed up the booking. Disgusting rude response by their team to our e-mail - they should be ashamed. Got an UBER home post 1am quickly and without fuss - and for £12!! AVOID A2B at all costs....thieving scumbags!!

It's such a shame I didn't read these reviews before to deter me from booking with A2B.

I pre-booked a taxi through the app.

I never received any registration details for the car. This is extremely unsafe! When I arrived at the chosen location for my pick up, I called the office. A lady answered who just said a grey Toyota would get me. The taxi was LATE so I called the office again, I believe the same lady answered me and she was extremely rude! I asked for the registration details and she didn’t give it to me. The taxi then called me to say he had arrive, all to be in the WRONG location! I had to run up a hill to find him, I was almost late to my appointment.

The app is very misleading. I believed I had paid online but the lady in the office told me I hadn’t!?

I contacted their customer service, 2 different managers Luke and Graham have replied to me, not willing to help and honour my refund request.

Have been using this company for quite…

Have been using this company for quite a while now but never again. I used them a couple of weeks ago for a journey that took approx 10 minutes which cost me £7.40. I Used them again last week for a journey of 1 minute and they charged me £9.00. I have asked them to explain how a shorter journey costs more than a longer journey. I have emailed the company twice but they cannot give me a satisfactory explanation as to how a shorter journey can be more expensive than a longer journey

We have booked A2B a few times but never again. They quote you a reasonable price then when picked up the driver tries to charge double. On one occasion the driver dumped us on a ring road when we questioned his prices

Taking advantage of pensioners

Disgusting and vile taking advantage of pensioners, got my mother in law a taxi and it arrived, fare is usually 10.60 as she has been doing ot every day for nearly 2 weeks as her husband is in hospital.
Driver didn't do the machine properly and charged her £14 and tried to say that's what it says which is bull s*** as the machine said 5.30 which is wrong anyway as he must not have don3 something right but then he just plucked a number out his head and charged her.
When rang the office was told well you paid cash so basically its tough as how can we sort it, it's between driver and oassenger when asked to then contact driver they refused.
What a bunch of a holes, over the last few months this taxi company is vile,

I pre booked a taxi for a hospital…

I pre booked a taxi for a hospital appointment so I would not be late. No taxi turned up at the time I had booked. I called only to be told it was approximate and one would be with me shortly. After waiting again I called to be told a driver was 4 miles away but had rejected my fair so I would have to wait again. The reason I pre- booked was to save stress. Why have a booking system if they have no intention of using it. Ridiculous- they really don’t care. Terrible service!!!

Never again.

Trust Pilot ask reviewers to be " honest, helpful and constructive". A2B Taxis could do with a few lessons in the same qualities or at least in courtesy. When you chose to phone A2B Taxis, be prepared to be considered an unnecessary nuisance factor and whatever the problem, it must be your fault...and if you deign to phone more than once to check an errant taxi is on its way and the normal time quote of 10 minutes has long gone, be prepared for lie after lie. Get the message...neither honest, helpful nor constructive. Latest wait time one hour, distressed lone women waiting outside a deserted main entrance to the QE Hospital around 11pm after visit to intensive care. Never again!

Avoid at all costs

We pre-booked and paid for a taxi to pick us up from Birmingham Airport at 11.55pm. The taxi was booked 3 days before pick up. The taxi hadn't turned up by 12.15 so we phoned them to be told that they didn't have a driver available but they would try and get one to us in 10 minutes. 20 minutes later no taxi had turned up so we phoned again, this time there was no answer so we phoned from a different mobile number, they did answer immediately. This time we were told that they had no record of the booking despite the fact that we had a text confirmation and had given them our bank details. They said they could possibly get a taxi to us within 10 minutes so we waited another 10 minutes, by this time we had waited for 55 minutes and seen everyone else on our flight picked up by Ubers. We were the last ones left on the taxi rank and it was 12.40 so we did what everyone else had done and booked an Uber. It arrived in 4 minutes and the driver was so polite and friendly.

Shocking service, prebooked taxi for 11.30am. When this time came and went and no car was dispatched I call the office to first rudely cut off and then told 'just because you book in advance does not mean we will send one". Rude and unreliable company.
