Book with someone else

This service has gone incredibly downhill since being nationalised, taxi's very rarely turn up on time despite being booked in advance and absolutely no regard to the knock on effect that their lateness can cause, personally I have missed trains been late for meetings or bookings and they do not even offer an apology let alone a discount

Booked a taxi from Southwater to…

Booked a taxi from Southwater to Horsham station. They turned up late.
Booked a taxi from Gatwick to Southwater with an agreed price of £44. Taxi driver charged us £49. Spoke to the controller who messaged the driver to refund us and advised if not received in two days to call him and he will refund. No refund received from either and now the controller not answering his phone. Emailed them and no reply.
No big deal but but will never use again, nor will my family and friends and will be giving negative recommendations on local face book groups. Silly

we have been trying to get money back…

we have been trying to get money back for 3 months as despite pre booking taxis for a work event, when people tried to leave the taxis they were told they couldn't leave until they paid. We have now paid double for all the taxis. We were told we would be reimbursed 3 months ago, which never happened. I have emailed numerous time, with no response. called numerous times, which just gets the line cut off. avoid.

Have used this company many times over…

Have used this company many times over the last 15+ years. They have always been courteous, punctual (or I’ve been advised when they were running late, due to traffic, etc.) and their cars are clean and the drivers friendly. Highly recommended.

Just booked one of their cars via their app; pretty straightforward and had a confirmation within seconds that the booking was successful.

Update: just uninstalled the app as it is very buggy and to be honest I don’t trust it with my card details now as since adding my card details to their app I have had several fraudulent transactions, which seems to be more than coincidental… I believe the issue is with the iCabbi app they use, not AAA2B themselves.

Avoid

Pre-booked a taxi online for a 6.4 mile journey from a holiday cottage to a wedding, and the return journey after the wedding which finished at midnight. The only quote given on the website before confirming the booking was £25. Outward journey cost £28 (which is bad enough for less than 15 minutes) but the return journey cost £50. When I complained they said they had actually saved me money because it should have cost £110. Outrageous! Avoid.

30 mins late

Absolutely awful service I pre booked a taxi at 7am for 8:30am for it to get to 35 past and me calling them and then telling me it’s going to be another 25 minute wait (considering I had a class at 9:00am and needed to get there 15 mins prior) absolutely ridiculous and i will never be booking with this taxi company ever again. 0/10.

Do not trust this taxi company

Do not trust this taxi company, my son accidentally left his mobile phone in the taxi. He went to the office the next day, however it was closed, he could see his mobile on the desk as it flashed when he phoned it. Finally after 48hrs someone opened the office for him to retrieve his phone. However it was no longer in the office. My son tracked his phone to a block of flats in Kent. The taxi company refused to give my son or his dad the name and address of the member of staff that had stolen my son’s phone. The amount of stress and time this has caused my son is immeasurable, not even an apology from the company! Stolen phone has now been reported to the Kent police. This taxi company have demonstrated that they are not reliable and some of their staff are not honest. Therefore, we have advised everyone we know not to use this taxi company ever again.

Pre-booking is pointless

The drivers are always lovely don't get me wrong but I pre-book cars and they are constantly late so I've missed trains and been late to work.
If you can't get a drive to arrive at the requested time please say so I can change arrangements. It's very frustrating

LHR Airport run

Used AAA2B for work trip to and from LHR and Slinfold.
Bob/ Rob on the way out was very friendly and got us there in great timing considering road closures.
Nick who collected us was there and waiting with a smile even though we were quite delayed and over an hour late, and was happy and so friendly not grumpy or moody given our delay, had a good joke on the way back and going forward will aim to request him for any future trips!

Triple A Taxis are not the issue

Triple A Taxis are not the issue, even before Alpha Cars joined them they were very reliable.
Since then the Alpha drivers are hit or miss, there have been a few that ring you when they have arrived which could be 10 to 15 mins early which is all well and good if you are at home or other but not at your place of work where you book a time for a purpose,then if you cannot answer they are are the works door asking for you. This then becomes quite aggravating, most customers have an app or text to say driver in the way or arrived.
There have been 2 occasions where I have been late for work and when I've called the call centre is Alpha and tells us we are still looking for a driver, it will be another 15mins and unfortunately that can leave us sometimes too late to find available taxis.
It would be nice if they could respect the nature of our jobs as to the times we book, none of us are late out but if we were that would frustrate the drivers thats when it's appropriate to call us.
Triple A drivers are no problem at all.

Booked a taxi 6 hours prior to pick up time. Informed we had a small dog that would be in the taxi. We had confirmation that the taxi was booked and confirmed for pick up at that time only to be receive a call an hour prior to be told that they can’t have a dog in the taxi. Poor communication.

Cancelled pre-booked car without warning

Did not show up for pre-booked journey. Called to query why not, told that they had called to clarify the address (despite having provided a full post code), and had got a missed call (not true). Operator was rude on the phone, and then cancelled the booking.

Bad customer service

Booked a taxi to go to Guilford turned up ok, also booked a return back to Horsham for 7.00pm, finished early so rang them to get taxi earlier, no text at 6.00 to say taxi dispatched finally got a message at 6.30 taxi on way but it was another taxi company, and it cost me more than i should of paid. No sorry from anyone will not use them again

Shocking service

Shocking service, 7 seater booked from Gatwick for our return leg from Holidays tomorrow and they have cancelled it with no alternative, great Thankyou AAA2B , I have also heard this is not the first time , avoid them like the plague.

AAA2B. At times an unimpressive taxi company.

We have used this firm for years and have been satisfied with their service. Things have changed. Their App doesn’t work and hasn’t for at least a couple of years. You only find this out when you try and order a cab and it fails. You are then forced to call. Most telephone agents are friendly but tonight’s, not so!! When I realised the cab I had ordered wasn’t on its way I expressed my surprise. I suggested it would take an hour to get a cab. The response was scoffing denial. Well she was right. It took 50 minutes. Rather than empathy I got the passive aggressive response “do you want to cancel then?” They’re inconsistent, sometimes they track your flight and get to the airport for your arrival and sometimes they don’t.
According to their cabbies the firm is short of drivers so expect the impact of that impacting you. They have a competitor and AAA2B should know customer service wins customers. Theirs will lose some.

Fantastic service

Fantastic service. Customer service is great, updates when the taxi is on the way with registration number so I knew what car to look for at the airport. Very competitively priced. Highly recommend
