Abakhan Fabrics, Hobby & Home Reviews

I needed a paper pattern and managed to find one on this website which was delivered very quickly and in mint condition. Very happy with this service and will use again.

The Abakan store in Mostyn has moved all their wool and craft supplies onto the second floor.
As I disabled person I regularly visit the store for supplies but unfortunately the past 3 visits have seen me leave empty handed.
The lift has been out of order for some weeks now and myself and many others I know who are also disabled are no longer able to shop there.
I generally like to avoid buying on line to support businesses but I will now have no choice.
Petrol is too expensive to waste travelling 20 plus miles to find I am unable to access .

I bought 6 balls of merino 4ply… they arrived quickly… wasn’t sure what the quality would be like as they were a very good price.. wool was excellent 👍..

A great selection of quality products for knitting, crochet, and sewing. I've been delighted with all of my purchases, and the quality and condition of my items have been excellent. Delivery was prompt and packaged safely. Very happy customer ☺️

Attended the Copy your clothes pattern class yesterday at Abakan Mostyn with Corrie Robinson.
This class was sold out with 10 people of various skill levels attending.
I didn’t have any pre conceived ideas or expectations as I truly (as a total beginner ) had no idea what to expect. It was a very informative and enjoyable day and I learned so much from Corries superb instruction and direction.
It was more complicated than I expected but the support on a 1 to 1 basis made this a very enjoyable afternoon. I will definitely be booking more classes 👍 Thanks Corrie I hope to produce “the garment “ this week.

I'm trying a second order because I like the material but delivery wasn't quick but could of been royal mail an material was cut very wonky on 1 lot of material but I'm hoping it was just a one off so reordered to see. Just received my 2nd order and materials were all cut good

It's a good place for yarns and fabrics a d stuff but their customer service isn't that good. So the cashier was really rude and was on his phone the entire time and didn't even say anything to me which was quite unfair. And lastly, the automatic door entrance, its soooo slow and when I walked out I accidentally bumped into it and it hurt so they NEED to fix those doors.

Good quality fabric, excellent price and speedy delivery.

I missed something off my order but as they could not amend they said I could cancel, get a refund and reorder. I advised cancel and refund. Reordered but I am now still having both orders because they cannot cancel original order. Why offer this as a solution if they cannot deliver.

I have been a customer at Mostyn for 30 years, but I can honestly say today was the most disappointing ever.
Ordered food that came wrong & the waitress argued the toss.
All the doors where out of action so my elderly mother had to walk much further than was necessary & then to top it all, the lift was out of action.
The place looked like it was closing down & the staff acted as though they were indifferent whether we shopped or left.
So very sad, but I can't imagine returning to be treated with that attitude.

Outstanding service.
Generous measures, promptly dispatched, using Royal Mail so notified of delivery, and delivery secure.
Very pleased :)))

Visited the Liverpool Abakhan store today for the first time. I only had a quick visit as my daughter needed to get home, otherwise I could have spent hours and hours there. Well stocked and friendly, helpful staff. I only bought 6 pre-cut pieces today, but there was a lot of choice and great prices. My happy place! Thank you Abakhan.

Order delivered quickly with no problems. Very pleased.

First time ordering from this website and everything run smoothly posted quickly and wool was just what I wanted

Bought some Rose and Hubble Quilting cotton which was competively priced and was so good I ordered more!

Lovely customer service and knowledgeable helpful staff

i needed some hook and loop fastener pink of course for granddaughter - arrived quickly - thanks!

I used to live locally and shopped many times at Abakhan. I remember the old huts when fabrics was on trestle tables and weighed! Having moved away and now rediscovered enjoyment of crafting, Abakhan was the obvious place for supplies. Great choice and excellent value. Reasonable postage too. I have bought a range of felts and the ranges are great. I prefer to order from Abakhan than shop locally as the range and value for money is far better. My next wish list is growing!

I bought the knitting yarn at a very good discounted price. The delivery price was good too.
It arrived really fast, so I am now sitting in comfort getting ahead with the aran jumper for a friend-very useful for the dark, miserable evenings!

I was very happy with my recent purchase of baby dk yarn. I needed beige or cream and was able to find 3 different shades which was great. the yarn was lovely to knit with. When I have finished the cardigans I will definitely be ordered some more yarn yarn as I knit for several babies.
