We had a fantastic experience with St Albans, particularly with Deirdre. She was very supportive and so kind, and had answers and guidance for every single interaction we had with her. We are lucky to have fallen pregnant first time and we couldn’t be more grateful to the team (and especially Deirdre!) for everything.

We'd like to thank Deidre, Eleni and Sarah at ABC IVF St Albans, for their kindness and unwavering support during our IVF journey. Every initial appointment and scan, I felt incredibly supported. The St Albans team are so compassionate and professional, I would not hesitate to recommend this satellite clinic. We now have our beautiful baby boy, and we have the team at ABC to thank for that.

Great experience

We had 2 IVF with ABC and to compare them it was like day and night. First one went very smooth but second one was full of mistakes and errors. And Rebecca team couldn’t care less. We made formal complaint and ABC clinic agreed that we had horrible experience. And offered us some money back. And than again I had to chase up Rebecca for refund. We made 4 calls within 3 weeks and as usual no call back. Avoid Rebecca and her team at all cost!

I booked an initial blood test with ABC IVF on 6th August 2024, followed by a virtual consultation scheduled for 15th August 2024. Unfortunately, the experience has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing.

On the day of the consultation, we joined the call on time, but no one from ABC IVF showed up. We waited for 8 minutes, and when it became clear that no one was joining, we had no choice but to leave the call. Since then, we've been chasing them to get our reports, but the response has been abysmal—no one is willing to help us, despite the fact that we’ve already paid for the service.

To add insult to injury, when we finally managed to get through to someone, they had the audacity to ask us for more money! ABC IVF markets itself with the tagline "affordable IVF," but in reality, they seem more interested in squeezing every penny they can out of their clients. It's a shame that a company dealing with such sensitive and emotional matters would behave in this way.

What's worse is that they had our phone number and could have easily called us to join the consultation if they were late. But they didn't. It seems like they intentionally avoided contacting us so they could charge us again for the service we’ve already paid for now they wanted more money to provide our report which we already paid for .

If you’re considering ABC IVF, be warned: their commitment to customer service is non-existent, and they appear to be more interested in making money than in providing the care and support that patients need. Stay away unless you're prepared to throw your money away on fake commitments and poor management

I called them to know about my report and they said I have to rebook and it’s chargeable. They sent me a link before the call on 15th August (as there was no link in the previous emails, strange isn’t it? So they sent me a link on my email straightaway before the call) and I joined via that link, I waited got 15 minutes but nobody came online from abcivf, neither they called me on my cell, so they gave me a wrong link for the meeting, and when I called them back the lady on the phone was putting me on hold for 10-12 minutes and then came back and demanded money to rebook the call. To discuss our reports? In the very beginning of the process? And then when I told her I have emails proving that they had sent me the wrong link she put me on hold again and then disconnected the call and never called me back, That’s their business strategy. Not sure how people had great experiences with them or is it just paid reviews. Stay away unless you're prepared to throw your money away on fake commitments and poor management.

Absolutely fantastic experience with ABCc the teams are all very friendly and professional, I was never left in the dark with any information, always had a point of contact and we now have our beautiful baby boy.

We have recently had a successful delivery via ABC and are really grateful. Throughout the process the team have been so helpful, we never felt overwhelmed as they gave information in digestible chunks. Everyone was super helpful and the communication was brilliant.

We dealt with the st Albans, Oxford and London location... all were brilliant and adapted to my constantly on the go life

The doctors are really good every thing was nice an smooth without any problems I recommend this 100% we just came back from our 8 weeks appointment so We couldn’t be more happy as everything is great ♥️! After 2 years of trying we are now pregnant on our first try !

Unfortunately our experience has been a mixed one with ABC. If I was writing this review based purely on the clinics and the clinicians we have dealt with through this process we would be leaving a 5 star review. We have been through our first cycle of IVF with ABC and throughout the process from a clinical stand point we have felt well cared for and in safe hands.

The other side of our review accounts for the unacceptable service we've received from the coordination team, once the payments are made you become a number lost in the system and find it nearly impossible to get hold of anyone in the admin and coordination team.

The Key issues we encountered were:
Availability of appointments for scans, we registered at the St Albans clinic and were told before treatment started that our scans would be conducted there and then the procedures for egg collection and transfer would be at another site. In the first week of scans we went to 2 different sites, both of which were a 3 hour round journey, as there was no availability at the clinic. When we raised this with a consultant she was able to get us appointments at the clinic showing that there was availability but there was something not working with the booking process.

We were not effectively walked through the process regarding freezing of our embryos, the consultant on the day of our transfer spent over an hour trying to get hold of someone in the coordination team to talk us through the costs and options, without his kindness on the day we would have had no-one there to answer our questions.

Our biggest frustration has been the follow up process following our failed cycle. We called the clinic and emailed our coordinator as directed, yet again we experienced two very different approaches. We received a call from the nurse the same day and a follow up clinical consultation the following day. I messaged or called to request a call from our coordinator every day that week to try to arrange our next clinical follow up and set up our next cycle, it took 5 days before we heard from her. When we did hear we were left in the dark about lots of our pricing questions and the follow up process.

We don't feel like the coordination has been acceptable. This is a very emotional and tiring experience, we would have expected more from the coordination team in regards to walking us through the process and following through on actions.

We will be continuing with ABC for our next cycle but this is based solely on our experience with the clinical team.

Following unexplained infertility for 3.5 years myself and my husband were a little dubious purely due to the fact that ABC were so much more affordable than all other IVF clinics but we couldn't have asked for more. We couldn't be happier that we used them.

The staff were friendly, professional and knowledgeable, the information and consultations were all very helpful and happened very quickly after we'd made our decision, the medication was convenient to arrange and was easy to administer with their 'how to' videos. All the clinics we visited were clean and intimate, and made us feel at ease every step of the way.

We are thrilled to have fallen pregnant and given birth to a beautiful healthy baby girl after our first round with ABC and they made our dreams come true by actually making it affordable and, dare I say, actually an enjoyable experience.

We would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for friendly and affordable IVF.

In 2022 July we started our ivf journey through abc ivf St Albans. First round worked and I gave birth to our beautiful baby boy on Easter 2023.
I got nothing bad to say and recommend abc ivf to everyone who is looking into ivf clinics like I did.

After trying for one and half year, my husband and I decided we will get the help we needed, after weeks of research we chose ABC Ivf. I had 10 eggs retrieved only one survived and that one is now my very handsome baby boy. The staff were great from day 1 to the very end, I had access to the team 24/7, all my questions were answered. More importantly there were no hidden charges.

We are happy with St Albans IVF clinic. Everyone was so nice and helpful, especially Deirdre. She was amazing, so caring and helpful. Answer all of our questions. She called after the treatment to check how we were feeling. There were a few changes to the account manager, which weren't great, but overall, we were very happy with the company. After the second treatment, we have our beautiful, healthy daughter and one more embryo frozen. Will be great if they will open more clinics, especially one in Milton Keynes.

From the start, abc ivf has been great. Pricing was transparent and cost efficient, unlike other clinics we reviewed, and everyone at abc ivf was friendly, patient and knowledgeable which made our experience as stress-free as possible. I would highly recommend their services to anyone on their fertility journey.
