Absolute Heating are not honest and upfront in their dealings.

Boiler failed and hot water and heating did not come on. (Absolute heating serviced my boiler last month).

Called Axa Insurance emergency cover and they sent Absolute heating . They came a day after , supposedly a 24/7 operation. They diagnosed electrodes were the issue and got the boiler up and running temporarily and sent me an invoice for the electrodes as they said the insurance would not cover it as it was up and running, so I paid . Two hours later the boiler stopped working and had to get them out again . No attempt by them to speak to AXA to claim for the parts on my behalf as now the boiler was not working. So In affect I paid them for the Service and parts over a short period .Also they temporarily got the boiler going fully knowing it would fail again. They should have ordered and fitted part after the first visit , and could have easily had this authorised by the insurance company.

You will see another review by "Farook Hussein", on this review board and he is correct to point out they are not honest and straight forward.

Be careful

Be careful, found them to be somewhat misleading!!!
They were sent out to fix a water leak on the boiler by my home contents insurer who were also providing boiler cover. Chap advised that the expansion vessel pipe required replacing and he would need to go back to the insurer for authorisation to carry out the work. That's it, nothing else was mentioned by him to me.
Later in the day, Absolute Heating contacted me to tell me that the insurer had declined the repair and if I wanted it done, I'd have to pay for it myself!! I contacted the insurer to enquire why they had refused and was told that Absolute Heating had reported to them that the boiler had not been maintained, there was corrosion and blockage in the system so on that basis they would not be paying for the repair. I told the insurer this was the first I had heard of it and was in disagreement. It would have been good if the engineer had advised me of this to allow me to discuss further with him rather than just reporting it to the insurer afterwards....to some extent behind my back!!
Get the feeling they know how to play the boiler cover game!!

We had a call out from Absolute Heating…

We had a call out from Absolute Heating re our boiler. Lee was the mechanic dealing with the situation and we were very pleased with both his approach and diligent efforts getting the problem solved.

Quoted £408 to fix heating which…

Quoted £408 to fix heating which involved a new pump, Oh then you get from the engineer Oh still doesn't work you have another problem and need further work. He couldn't get out of the house quick enough. Sent out via Lloyds Bank premier home serve - will give them the headache now
When i phone the head office i get you needed the clean as well just a bit odd that was not mentioned whin i booked and paid
Ripped off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

5* Absolute Heating

Our boiler is covered by Domestic & General so when our boiler sprang a leak on Saturday morning, we obviously called to get a repair. Apparently being without water is not classed as an emergency call out by Domestic & General so we had to wait until Tuesday for our repair!
Sam from Absolute Heating was brilliant, boiler was isolated and the part ordered and replaced all in good time. I would have no problem with recommending Absolute Heating to anyone. Just be mindful of the insurance company you choose!

Winter Blues

We had been without heating and hot water all weekend,until Sam arrived.
He was punctual and very easy going.He diagnosed and fixed the issue within minutes,while happily answering my many questions.

The Engineer was deployed on time…

The Engineer was deployed on time deployed via Tesco Insurance and arrived ready to tackle the issue. He was knowledgeable, polite and thorough and got the heating up and running.
Further tests were done to test the boiler, so happy with outcome.

Appalling customer service - ZERO STARS

Appalling customer service. If I could give zero stars I would. Boiler service eventually booked in. I hear nothing further. Day of appointment I call them to ask what time engineer will arrive. I'm told the appointment was cancelled the day before and rebooked for the following week. Nobody has contacted me. They tell me that they prioritise repairs and services just get moved. They assure me that the diary will be marked to not move the appointment the following week. here I am again, like Groundhog Day. No engineer, no contact from them. I call them and it has been cancelled again. Again I'm told repairs are prioritised so I ask if this will simply happen every time? I'm told a lot of companies won't do services over winter to which I say but you have signed up to do them, yet you simply don't honour them. Shocking attitude and service. Do not book as you will waste your time waiting for them to show and they never will.

Very poor sservice by the office

Very poor sservice by the office. Boiler service booked for Friday, waited in all day and eventually got in touch in the afternoon and they cancelled. Rearranged for Monday morning, I cancelled my plans but they didn't come. Said it would be afternoon so I cancelled my afternoon plans. They finally came at 5:30pm! I had wasted 2 days staying in. They never phoned me, I had to keep making contact. If only they had said it would be after 5 I could have gone about my normal day. Lack or organisation and complete disregard for the customer.
(No complaint with the engineer, just the admin)

Should be renamed absolute crap

Should be renamed absolute crap. Waited twice this week to get to top of long queue. To be told I’m next in line and kept me waiting another hour. Disgusting rubbish company who probably wfh and don’t bother answering the phone while they take the kids to school. Total rubbish company. Domestic & general need to bin them
