Truly, truly awful

The second time I have dealt with this company, the second terrible review. I have never reviewed any other lawyers. Truly awful. Have had a willing buyer, a willing seller (who know each other), and funds in place for over 3 months. Not a single problem to resolve in all that time. Still unable to draw down funds. Utter incompetence, combined with complete and absolute disinterest in moving forward despite repeated requests. I honestly cannot believe the level of service. Do not use them if you can possibly avoid doing so. Not sure of the branch in Glasgow - last time it was waterloo st.

A very Expensive Experience

We used Aberdein Considine in Aberdeen to sell our flat 2 years ago and they were brilliant. So when we needed a solicitor to help us get Confirmation for the release of funds in one bank account when my dad passed away. We went to the Ellon branch and they passed us to the Stonehaven branch. We had an initial meeting and supplied the paperwork required and waited for someone to get in touch. 4 weeks on and nothing so we got in touch and realised no one had even started looking at it and it was then passed to Glasgow. If we knew this wasn’t going to be dealt with locally we would have gone elsewhere. We were not kept informed on a regular basis of how the process was going and kept having to email to find out what was happening. From start to finish it has taken 5 months and cost just under £7000. Our fault in not asking for a quote but never again will I use them.

“Exceptional Service and Expertise: A Stellar Experience with Aberdein Considine”

I recently had the pleasure of working with Aberdein Considine, and I cannot speak highly enough of the outstanding service I received, particularly from Charlie Fraser, a senior partner at the firm. From start to finish, the experience was seamless, professional, and incredibly reassuring.

Charlie Fraser stands out as a consummate professional with a wealth of expertise and a genuine commitment to his clients. He demonstrated an impressive ability to break down complex legal matters into clear, actionable advice, always ensuring I felt informed and confident in the process. His attention to detail and proactive approach was invaluable, and it was evident that he takes great pride in delivering exceptional outcomes for his clients.

The team at Aberdein Considine is equally impressive. They embody a culture of excellence and client care, consistently going above and beyond to ensure every question is answered and every concern addressed. The communication throughout was exemplary, with timely updates and a friendly, approachable manner from every member of the team.

I would not hesitate to recommend Aberdein Considine to anyone in need of reliable and high-quality legal services. Charlie Fraser, in particular, is a standout professional who brings unparalleled expertise and dedication to his work. If you’re looking for a firm that genuinely puts its clients first, this is the one to choose.

An utter disgrace of a so called…

An utter disgrace of a so called ‘professional services’ company. They deserve to be stripped of any Law Society of Scotland accreditation.
Arrogant, rude, obnoxious and lacking any level of basic customer service, this mob think they’re above the client. Well, it’s the clients that pay your wages, no matter how long you studied at University! Service, wake up and realise you’re not above it, you are here to serve your clients. Basic professionalism, reply to emails, admit when you’ve dropped the ball or not turned up for a meeting. Utterly disgraceful, if it was your business you’d be bankrupt.
Do yourself a favour, go elsewhere especially in Glasgow.

Absolutely abysmal service and no…

Absolutely abysmal service and no regard for their client. A simple remortgage process has taken them months, and when emailed (as they will not answer the phone), instead of admitting they dropped the ball and apologising, spend an age composing emails deflecting all blame. Wouldn't wish these lot on my worst enemy.
