Ash was a really great tutor who helped my daughter prepare for her 11+, resulting in her getting into Newstead Wood.He’s funny, chatty, and makes lessons relaxed and enjoyable, creating such a positive and comfortable atmosphere for learning. At the same time, he knows exactly how to teach and keeps things focused, so she made real progress. We noticed such a big improvement, would definitely recommend Ash to anyone looking for a tutor.

We started tuitions with Ash with a few months remaining for the exams. We registered for the revision course and did some extra sessions with him. My son gained immensely in those few months. We could see the difference in his approach to the mock exams and his preparation for much stronger.
He qualified for the 3 Sutton schools and Tiffins Boys.

ACE Tutorial is a place to go to, if you are coaching your kids to Grammar School. Ash has been around for god knows how many years - I heard about him even before I had my son. We engaged few months before my son's grammar school exam for summer time revision sessions. My son enjoyed his online lessons - there was quizzes, tests and of course incorporated with his lessons, so students gets engaged at all times. When my son got through S2, we engaged again with him for his Masterclass sessions- again was very useful. The other unique part of ACE is that, he has a student portal where they can sit for allocated tests, view results and then try again. It helps students to continuously practice. Highly recommend Ash if you would want your child to get into a grammar school.

I am very happy and thankful to Ash that my daughter got offered her first choice, Newstead Wood School and she also got excellent high score for Newstead because of Ash’s excellent and encouraging tutoring with lots of online quizzes, tests and excellent mock exams . The online teaching was outstanding with lots of practice and also gave lots of feedback on scores and rankings so you are able to see where your child stands compared to her peers and you able to see how much more work if needed to achieve your goal. Also my daughter scored very well in her Kent exam and Bexley exam but we are very excited that she will be joining Newstead.

Ash is a superb teacher, he gets the best out of the students by pushing them to the highest standards, whilst the children enjoy his class which is conducted in a comfortable collegiate manner. Our child had several tutors and by far Ash was the best- our child passed all exams she applied for (Newstead, Bexley, Kent). Couldn’t recommend more highly if you are serious about your child getting into a grammar or independent school.

My son began lessons with Ash at the start of Year 5, and he gained invaluable exam skills, including strategies for tackling questions and managing exam time effectively etc. Following guidance from Ash, we worked through the key test books for 11+/13+, something we wouldn’t have been able to accomplish without Ash's support. Thanks to this, my son received offers from top boarding schools like Eton, Harrow, Radley, and Wellington, as well as St. Paul’s, a leading day school, and Tiffin Boys, a top grammar school. I highly recommend Ash.

Thank you Ash for all the support and guidance throughout the 11 plus journey. As a parent it was very hard to figure out how to approach as it is way above me. Just knowing the concepts isn't enough, specially if anyone is going for super selective Grammar and Private schools as each of those exams are quite different from each other. Ash provides his own test papers based on schools which is very helpful. At home my daughter followed the homework and I just kept an eye on them. It is very helpful if you are working and do not have time to research etc.

During the exam days he had provided additional guidance to my daughter as to how to approach those exams. He also gives pep talk and motivates children before exams in class in a fun and casual way ( which nowadays children likes to listen to).My daughter has passed exams for Tiffins, Non such, Wallington ,LEH, Notting Hills and Latymer Upper School.
My daughter today has started her secondary school in Latymer Upper School. Again I had to reach out to Ash to help me in making the right decision. We were very confused whether Grammar School or Private and I knew talking to one person will help as he provides very frank feedback ( you may or may not like it but its the truth).
