Possible scam

I purchased a set of Stranger Things pin badges on 14th March 2026 and I still have not received the order. I have emailed and called numerous times but have had no response.

Internet scam company?

Order number AD131437

Following a reply from Acotis (please read) the order confirmation email states shipping in 3-5 days. Regardless I did not receive responses to emails or calls and even though they claim a refund has been issued I have had no official confirmation.

Acotis are "keeping up appearances" here but offer an entirely different customer experience, which is a dishonest approach.

In Acotis response to my review they even posted my name, address and telephone number which appears to have been done out of spite, otherwise why would they have breached privacy laws.

Again, an actual representation of their attitude towards the customer experience

Nothing was to much trouble!!!

Found what can only be described as needle in a haystack when I found the clasp I was looking for with Acotis, After ordering two clasps and one not being big enough, the exchange was made and adjusted with no hassle whatsoever. Very smooth transcription, Customer Service 11/10, Correspondence was quick and friendly. Highly Recommended, very professional service.

I am sick and tired

I am sick and tired. The company didn't refund my money for an order I made in November. They ruined a birthday present for my boyfriend and now don't answer emails. Maybe someone can give me advice on what I should do. It's a total scam and a lack of respect!

I ordered it using next-day delivery on the 17th of November. To say it was attempted to be delivered on the 24th of November is just a disgrace. I paid for it because of my boyfriend's birthday. I was away for two weeks from the 23rd of November, so I wasn't able to pick it up. I told you about it a few times. You said you never got this return from Royal Mail. It's March already. I want my money back. I don't need it after five months. I needed to order another present. I think you should have given me a refund a long time ago, not made me wait months and find silly excuses. This is why I posted a review because it's impossible to get an answer from you. Don't charge people for next-day delivery when you can't deliver; it's very dishonest customer service to just take money and then whatever. I want my money back, that's all!
You're saying you ruined my present and now you want me to accept it after 5 months?! When you're the one to blame. Unbelievable !!!

According to the official Royal Mail tracking history:

25–26 November 2025: Delivery was attempted at your address but there was no answer.

The parcel was then taken to your local Royal Mail collection point in Stevenage.

27 November 2025: The parcel was available for collection.

The parcel was never collected, and Royal Mail therefore returned it to sender on 14 January 2026.

This order was dispatched correctly and made available for collection by Royal Mail. When an item is not collected within the Royal Mail holding period, it is automatically returned to the sender.

We must also make it clear that engraved or personalised items cannot be returned for a refund, as they are custom-made and cannot be resold.

For this reason, once the parcel is received back into our warehouse system, we can only offer to re-dispatch the item to you, but a refund cannot be issued for a personalised engraved product.

The tracking history clearly shows that the delivery attempts were made and the parcel was available for collection, therefore accusations that this is a “scam” are incorrect.

If you would like us to arrange re-delivery once the parcel is received back, please confirm and we will assist further.

Lacking communication and cancelled my order for no reason.

I ordered a pendant on their website for Valentines day. They took my money and then nearly a week later they just abruptly refunded me without giving me any reason why. No communication whatsoever. The item was in stock.
Now they have tripled the price of the item on their website. I am severely disappointed and think this is -terrible- practice. Lacking communication is so rude.
My partner will be very upset that they wont be getting what they asked for. What a let down.

Edit after their response:
They never emailed me with an explanation or an apology that is a straight up falsification.
They prioritised saving face here in responding to my review. They still had not emailed me personally despite me having emailed them inquiring about the cancellation before posting here.

They made the mistake. False advertising at a price they won’t commit to. Misleading customers to make a purchase they won’t fulfill then making false claims on trust pilot to save face. Abhorrent, lack of respect.
Fool me for trusting them to place an order. Buy elsewhere.

As soon as this was identified, the listing was corrected and, as we weren’t able to honour the incorrect price, the order was cancelled and a full refund was issued back to your original payment method.
