Active Heating have just completed a full central heating system at my property. Team arrived promptly on day promised, with everything needed for the job, they left no mess, finished on the day advised and I have been left with a perfectly fitted heating system.

Great experience, friendly engineers that filled us with confidence. They really knew their job and worked really hard to get the job done with as little interruption to us as possible. Tom came round initially to quote for the job, I had an estimate the next day and his team came to install the boilers a week later. We had a few minor issues with leaking toilets but they were fixed as a good will gesture, and I am eternally grateful. I know who I will be going to in future for all plumbing and heating work. My old oil fired boiler water jacket developed a leak and a new boiler was required. The Company that normally serviced the boiler confirmed that a new boiler was the only option but they left me with water still coming out all over the floor. They couldn't drain the system down as they were" not allowed to". I called Tom for an estimate on a new boiler he responded very promptly and when he arrived at my home, he had no problem in draining down the system whilst the other company stood and watched. The estimate for the boiler soon arrived and I was happy with the amount quoted. The work was carried out soon after and Tom and his team did an excellent job of getting us up and running including sorting out some siting problems with the condensate pump. His team were helpful, cheerful and very tidy. We will certainly use them again.

Despite three unforeseen problems my bath was replaced by a walk-in shower and the finished result is lovely ... with no problems. Everyone involved was careful and friendly: I thoroughly recommend Active Plumbing and Heating.

We’ve had very good service from Active Heating. They’ve changed my boiler to a combi boiler which meant lots of alterations to the system. At the same time they’ve installed a digital shower. I also had a leak from my bath taps before they started on the main jobs which they came early and fixed for me.

I’d done lots of research to work out what I wanted. Tom came round initially to work out what I needed and he obviously knew what he was doing and understood what I wanted. I was happy that he was advising products that were suitable for what we needed.

All of them have done a great job. They’ve made things neat and have left my kitchen looking good with the pipes hidden as well as inside the carousel cupboard that needed to be taken apart and the back removed. Everything works properly and I’m very pleased with what they’ve done.

Tom arrived on time, and after diagnosing the problem with my noisy boiler, sourced and fitted two new parts. I found him efficient and polite. The heating system appears to be performing as it should. I would not hesitate to recommend him.

Tidy, efficient, reliable & friendly service.

We had lived in a large family house with two boilers - the main boiler was old and unreliable and a second, smaller boiler (also getting older) had been installed to heat a loft conversion and extension. We had initially contacted Tom to quote for a replacement main boiler. He spent a lot of time working out how to take out both boilers, join the two heating systems and install a new Worcester Bosch boiler.
Tom played back this option to us and we were persuaded that this was a helpful improvement to the house and one which would pay back over time.
The job was carried out over the course of just over a week and whilst many of our rooms were affected, Tom and his team managed the work in a way that allowed us to continue living with a minimum of disruption.
Tom was helpful throughout, providing updates and suggestions. On completion, Tom took the time to set up the new radiator valves on a Honeywell wireless home management system and walk us through how to get the most out of it.
Excellent job.

Tom Sullivan was friendly and did a very competent job. He arrived when he said he would, kept me up-to-date and left the room clean and tidy. I am happy to use this trader again in the future.
