Great taxi service
Very happy with my experience with Addison Lee. My driver, Mahibul Islam, picked me up late at night after a concert, when I had already lost hope of getting an Uber. He arrived very quickly and was friendly, professional and attentive. The whole journey was smooth and comfortable, and he got me home safely and quickly. Great service overall - I would definitely recommend Addison Lee!

Professional company who delivers
first of all I telephoned your company and got straight through to someone. The driver that picked us up was on time and helped us with our luggage in the car and also all the way to the check in desk. Lovely clean car.
The driver that picked us up from the airport was polite and made our journey relaxing all the way back home. Excellent service all round.

Good clean car. Driver arrived well in time.
Gave 4 stars but could have been 5 stars. On our return journey the boot of car was full of the drivers/car belonging so had to put our suitcase in the middle seat. Not ideal.

The driver was so rude
We explained he needed to move his car closer to the school and he said the child and carer can come to his car. He repeated this bluntly multiple times. The child who has severe special needs and behaviour that challenges was then walked through a busy road, despite us asking if the driver comes to our safe car park. Once the child was in the car, he came back to the building and explained the child was refusing to put his seatbelt on and was not going to drive them. I explained, in his same tone, he is in his car with his carer so they can deal with it. If the car was in the car park our staff could deal with it effectively, and we had 60 other children going home at the same time

Good driving, but so-so-vehicles
I recently booked two journeys with Addison Lee on the same date. Both drivers drove well and a problem with the location of the second was eventually sorted out satisfactorily
However, in both cases I booked the 'Select' option, which is for a medium-sized vehicle suitable for up to four passengers and a couple of bags and which I had been assigned in the past. What I got in both cases was the 'Airport' option which is a large people carrier and not at all suitable
For one, there were only two of us passengers who didn't need to rattle around in a people carrier. Second, it was no fun for my tiny 85-year-old mother to bridge the one-foot gap between the pavement and the bottom of the vehicle when getting in and out. And third, our first journey was from home to a restaurant and our second from a theatre back home; while travelling in the kind of medium-sized vehicle I had booked would have added to an overall pleasant day out, being transported in a people carrier felt institutional and not particularly nice
I don't know why I was assigned these vehicles, given the pick-up and drop-off locations of my bookings. Is it because they are now the mainstay of the Addison Lee fleet? Whatever the case, unless I actually am going to an airport or on some kind of work trip with several other people, I don't want to get be assigned them again as they simply aren't very comfortable for drives for social reasons
I was planning to book Addison Lee to take my husband and me to a wedding, but as I have zero interest in clambering in and out of a people carrier in a long dress, I'm very hesitant to do so

I got in touch with Addison Lee, following their response. They confirmed vehicles are assigned based on what's closest to the address but they also made a note on my record not to assign multivans anymore to my bookings, so I've added a star to my review

Driver was punctual. The communication was excellent and reinsuring. The driver’s knowledge of London helped to choose the ideal route.
The price was unbeatable, paid on line , so no worries about the fair. I strongly recommend this take firm and will use it again.
