This is beyond useless customer support. Even animals would show more intelligence than their so-called agents. Reaching customer care in under 45 minutes is impossible, and when you finally do, the a... See more

Order got cancelled twice without communication
Ordered shoes for my daughter twice. Once before Christmas and once on New Year’s Day. Both times the order was cancelled without any email to let me know that the order would not be arriving. It was guaranteed to arrive on the 22nd of December originally I was not cancelled until two days after the delivery date! It is now January 10th and just discovered they have cancelled our second order without any email notification. No issues, no communication. Won’t be ordering again.
Customer service is a nightmare
Customer service is a nightmare! Bunch of dummies who have no idea what they are doing. I have been sending multiple messages and emails every other day for 2 months now trying to get a refund processed on damaged shoes that I returned. Was my first and last purchase for sure!
Disappointing Experience With Adidas…
Disappointing Experience With Adidas Barricade – Serious Ergonomic Issue Ignored
I purchased a pair of Adidas Barricade Stella McCartney tennis shoes on December 28, 2025, through the online store of Midwest Racquet Store. The shoes arrived a few days later and were first used during a tennis practice on January 2nd.
When I initially put them on, they felt unusually stiff. I assumed this might be due to cold weather. However, during that first practice, the shoes caused significant discomfort and painful blisters, something that has never happened to me before.
I have been playing competitive tennis since the age of 4, at both local and national levels, and I have used Adidas shoes almost exclusively for decades.
Hoping the material would soften and adapt to my foot, I gave the shoes a second chance on January 5th, under better weather conditions. Unfortunately, the experience was worse. I developed severe blisters on my ankles and along the lateral sides of both feet, making it painful to continue training.
I contacted Midwest Racquet Store, and after explaining the situation, customer service informed me that the only option available was a 15% discount on a future purchase, since the shoes had been used and could not be resold.
This raises a very simple and important question:
How is a customer supposed to know a shoe causes injury without actually using it?
If a shoe has an ergonomic or design flaw, requiring it to be returned unused only guarantees that the problem will be passed on to the next customer. This creates a cycle where someone inevitably ends up with a defective product—one that can cause foot, ankle, or even spinal injuries in a high-impact sport like tennis.
I also explained that Adidas offers a 6-month warranty for defective footwear and suggested the store evaluate the situation with their supplier. They refused.
I then contacted Adidas directly and was told that since the shoes were not purchased directly from Adidas, and since they were not visibly torn or destroyed, they would not evaluate the claim.
The result is extremely frustrating:
A retailer focused solely on sales numbers, offering poor post-sale support.
A global brand unwilling to stand behind its product when purchased through an authorized third-party retailer.
I own other Barricade models that have never caused issues, which makes this experience even more disappointing.
In my case, the outcome is clear: I will not purchase again from Midwest Racquet Store, and this situation raises serious concerns about the real scope of Adidas’ warranty when a product fails functionally—but is not physically destroyed.
A performance tennis shoe should not have to fall apart in two days for a brand or retailer to take a customer seriously.
It’s shocking how loyal customers are…
It’s shocking how loyal customers are treated, I have nearly 4000 adiclub loyalty points some of which I have swapped for vouchers, although the vouchers are still well within the expiry date the system says “oops too late” when I try to apply them, I have phoned and emailed back and forth and even customer service can’t figure out why this is happening and told me to keep trying which I have to no avail, so basically I’ve just got to suck it up and let them go to waste!
Great experience for me
Great experience for me. Two pairs , one with customisation, arrived two days early, email arrived after the shoes. Shoe are boss , one pair at 75% off.
I don’t need shi*y ‘adidas points’ .
Sizing advice taken as one pair are 1/2 size bigger but all fit good (why companies cant measure and make shoes correctly is beyond my understanding).
Seems fine to me.
Maybe the service has gone downhill in recent years which I can only assume from reading a lot of these reviews. However, I always get my stuff that I order in a timely fashion. I have purchased from the online store over many years and I have never had an issue. You may have a better experience getting your gear delivered to a store, I used to do that at the Carnaby street store, London.
I ordered an item from Adidas
I ordered an item from Adidas, received it, and returned it because the size didn’t fit. Adidas confirmed that they received my return on October 30 (this was confirmed in written communication).
Today is December 3, and I still haven’t received my refund, even though the item has been back at their warehouse for more than two months.
Every time I contact customer support, I get the same copy-paste response: “Please wait 3–5 business days, the refund will appear on your account.”
I’ve been hearing this for over a month, with absolutely no result.
I strongly do not recommend buying anything from Adidas. Their return policy is meaningless, has no real value, and clearly no legal force. From my experience, this feels like a scam — taking advantage of customers who spend their last money, often on gifts or birthdays, and then are simply ignored.

NEVER ORDER FROM THEM!
I give zero stars!!
Awful awful company and refund service. Ordered a pair of trainers on 29th Nov only to be told on 17th December the item was not in stock after I had to contact them about my order!! They then cancelled the order and I’m yet to receive a refund!!! No item and no refund!! I contacted customer service again and they said it was refunded to X card…. I did not purchase with that card! And have no idea what that card is!! It’s been almost 2 months now and still no refund. Next step is trading standards…. AVOID this company !!!
Might Be Wasting Your Time
This company has the worst customer service. Long wait to speak to a live person.
And they take entirely too long to issue a refund.
I waited almost 6 weeks for my order to…
I waited almost 6 weeks for my order to be delivered. Every time I contacted customer service, I was given the same response: “3–4 more weeks”, with no clear or honest update. This happened repeatedly and became extremely frustrating. Some customer service representatives were very unhelpful—especially Ejay, who gave the exact same answer on every follow-up without actually checking or resolving the issue. Overall, the delivery delay and poor communication made this a very disappointing experience.
How does this company survive
How does this company survive? THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THE WORLD. So incompetent and honestly embarrassingly bad customer service agents.
Pathetic Customer service, probably the worst you'll ever come across
Still good products, however Customer service is probably one of the worst you will ever come across. I've said previously about trying to resolve issues from september. now end of december and still trying to resolve the same issues, probably 40-50 emails and countless phone calls, hindered by their repeated emails saying issues resolved case closed, Sadly they're not. Account Is In UK, order from UK, despatched form UK, yet you are dealing with Phillipines, Ghana etc who literally just read the same garbage off a sheet, appear apologetic yet couldn't give a toss about resolving issues. as previously stated, If you can purchase items elsewhere; then do so
Basic service principles completely void
For a global company they struggle to get the basics right. Three issues recently:
1. Online discount code using my Adibank account (15% off) didn’t work - went to customer services and their chat is terrible. You basically get put into a queue, and each time you reply, someone else picks it up. Meaning it took 4 days to resolve something after getting 3 different bits of advice or information on what had happened. They ultimately agreed it was a fault their end, despite one of them telling me to read the Ts & Cs!! Lots of wasted effort and resolution was poor.
2. Returns not working online. We are regular buyers, and recently you can’t return anything online, always comes up with a fault after going through the process. You then have to call or chat to get them to generate a QR code which is just shockingly poor.
3. Online chat not working - you just get the wheel of death on waiting for a chat to start.
Getting service basics right is so important. Loyalty only goes so far and we are starting to lose patience and faith.
quality shoes
got shoes here, it is great for running, feels comfortable. but prices are a bit high to be honest, wasthinking to buy or not at the beginning, but quality matters 100%, it is top
Horrible after sales service
Horrible after sales service. Returned a pair of shoes that I ordered two weeks ago and have had NO single reponse from Adidas SA. In the meantime I also sent 2 emails and all I get is a repesentative will be in touch within 2 - 4 working days. PATHETIC!
Shoe fabric is disintegrating after less than a month
I bought a pair of shoes and have worn them less than a month. The outside fabric appears to be disintegrating. Several holes have developed in the fabric already I have emailed them & asked if this is the quality I should expect going forward with no reply.
Worst refund processing ever encountered
I returned items for a refund at the beginning of December. It is now the end of December, and no refund received. They say the refund is in transit, but Royal Mail tracking shows they received it over three weeks ago. They are either grossly inefficient, or are keen top hang onto customers’ funds for as long as they can get away with.
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER !!
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER !!!
They say on their website that return will be processed in 2 weeks time max and that refund will be sent straightaway.
It's been 2 MONTHS since I started the return, I try to contact them, no answers or basic answers saying they're sorry but not doing anything.
They REFUSE to refund my package, clearly wrong.
DO NOT BUY FROM THEIR ONLINE STORE, go to Nike or whatever
