Advice for Adobe, revise your customer service

Today, 4/11/26, I tried to contact customer service via a phone call and their chat box. I have subscribed to their services for about 10 years and have rarely used their software for a few years now. It was time to either downgrade to one software or discontinue their service completely. They made up my mind for me because their service was atrocious. Getting information through their chat was difficult and confusing. I was hung up on twice as I was told I was being transferred to a live person for help. I am officially unsubscribed. Before this experience, my plan was to resubscribe if and when I could use their softwares. After today, they do not deserve my money. Customer Service quality is #1 for me. I noticed that their stock ADBE has been down for 5+ years. I'm an investor is the stock market but knowing how Adobe does business, I would not buy their stock.

I'd give zero stars but then I couldn't…

I'd give zero stars but then I couldn't write this review.
I purchased adobe photoshop elements in 2015 and paid for an update in 2018. I now find the software will no longer run unless I subscribe to a fee. That's a total ripoff, I already paid for my license.
You idiots your company is going to go belly up due to your plain and simple greed.

Adobe is predatory

Adobe is predatory. Their subscription model is an abomination and shamelessly punishes you if you cancel the plan by taking all the credits you paid for over the plan duration. No way to save your credits and just use what you paid for. They just want your money, they don't care at all for the user experience. Their actual products aren't innovative anymore. You can get everything in Adobe elsewhere for lower price/free. Do NOT use Adobe if you don't have to. Avoid at all costs.

Unhelpful and Rude

Wanted to get a license transferred between two accounts and was told it was impossible. When I asked "so I cannot use the license that I paid for?" I was told, "Yes, that is correct!"

How is this company real.

We got a "FREE TRIAL" subscription for…

We got a "FREE TRIAL" subscription for Adobe Acrobat Reader. They charged us $20.99 for this free trial and for 1 and 1/2 months I have attempted to get the deserved refund. This company sends you to Google who sends you back to Adobe and that process has been repeated numerous times. Tonight Adobe now has sent me to our bank!! Absolutely NO CUSTOMER SERVICE! You deal with bots non stop with no results. I do not recommend you order ANYTHING from Adobe.

Absolutely predatory

Absolutely predatory, they lock you into a year subscription regardless if you try to cancel or not. You get errors when you try to cancel so you can't cancel in time. You get errors from them trying to 'authenticate' if you have a legitimate subscription when you submit and just resign to paying so you can't even use the service.

When bringing this issue up that I can't even use their product, I'm offered to pay another $120 to supposedly 'solve' the error or pay the cancellation fee. Absolutely bonkers, never, ever buy an adobe product unless you're ready to pay even if they don't deliver. Their customer service has clearly been told not to offer any refunds even if their product is completely unusable.

One star for the great products

One star because they have great products. 0 stars because they are a greedy corporation that now feels adversarial to their client base. And now they have to trick you into paying for their products.

don't ever sign up for Adobe EVER

They eat up my money at 3am like some sort of haunted entity and then when I want to cancel, they tell me to pay up another month of unused subscription. I literally don't even use adobe anymore and they're still taking my money. They're not even worth the price you pay to use their stuff. You can get the same thing elsewhere for cheaper or even free. Don't waste your time and money like I have. Disappointing

I signed up for a brief free trial so I…

I signed up for a brief free trial so I could read a document from the state of Oklahoma. I thought I had then ended the subscription, but apparently did not after I was charged $5.00 a month later. I then made sure I cancelled the subscription, but it tacked on a $25.00 cancellation fee for cancelling the subscription "early," as it wanted me to pay the $5 bucks every month for a year. What a scam. This is why I have a Mac. Greed does not make people want to use your products!

Technical Issue turns into Lie

I ordered a 7-day trial for Adobe, and after that, I had issues signing back in to log into my account. I finally cancelled my subscription, but after that, I was charged again. I called customer service and she told me that I signed up for the AI trial and so I need to pay for a year, $26.00 and then I can cancel my subscription. Firstly, I do not use AI, and I used Adobe to download Adobe only read files so that is a complete error. Instead of apologizing, she told me she would offer me a deal, and then I was retraumatized by having her read me my rights to a contract I never asked for. For this reason, I will never buy any Adobe product. You have lost a customer for life and there is no excuse!

Adobe and their Eunuchs

The idea to make one pay simply to edit a document is one of sheer genius. Whichever of your little knob jockey's came up with this deserves high praise, clearly this company and it's very highly educated staff know just what their customer base wants!
