You can check out any time you like . . .

But you can never leave.

Seems like I have joined the lengthening line of people who have been ripped off by this too-clever US company.
I cancelled my annual contract (£240 pa) because I didn't use the features. I got all the "sorry to see you go" and "why are you leaving us?" messages so thought they'd got the message.
Wrong! They not only carried on billing into a new year, but when I tried to cancel again they threatened me with a 3 month early cancellation penalty.
I eventually got an agent on their online chat, and he/she promised to cancel and refund. We'll see. But why does such a big corporation have to behave in this used-car-dealer fashion?

I genuinely loathe this company

I genuinely loathe this company. It's actually insulting how bad their video creation tools have become: they sseem to think that to justify a subscription model that they need to release a new major version annually. The result? Rushed out, GARBAGE apps with bugs they never fix, basic feature requests they never implement and a horrendous level of quality control.

- Stop releasing too fast for your own developers to handle
- Hire better, more talented staff
- Sack whoever is behind this insane, ant- consumer business plan

People will not tolerate this forever. Look at your share price and take notice!

Rip off and crap

I bought an annual plan for £21.98 a month which is no cheaper than just paying monthly, I decided to cancel after 2 months because I hate it, now they want to charge me £55 for early cancellation! Disgusting

Rolled me onto a new 12 month contract…

Rolled me onto a new 12 month contract without consent and more than doubled my monthly fee.

This goes against consumer law here in the U.K.

Impossible to get hold of. Live chat times out, phones go unanswered, and impossible to email.

I will simply cancel the authorisation for them to take payment on PayPal if they do not cancel this.

We have been using Adobe for over 20…

We have been using Adobe for over 20 years, but the recent pricing increases forced us to cancel our plan. In the past, whenever we had a problem, Adobe’s support was always helpful and polite. However, this time, the agents were completely different and unhelpful. One agent even closed the chat while I was still typing my response. It’s very disappointing to see such poor support after so many years as loyal customers.

I started a trial and a 7-day trial

I started a trial and a 7-day trial, but couldn't download the PDF. They asked me to subscribe to another free trial, which I did, then I cancelled. I didn't like it, but I was charged over $43. Total scam. No email. I emailed. Do not use this product.

I have found anything I subscribe to…

I have found anything I subscribe to from adobe to be clear about the billing and they give you an actual 7 day free trail; your well aware of what your paying after that time frame. I have been using adobe since I started a College Law Clerk program.

Don’t believe a word they tell you.

So, I went to leave the Adobe Cloud because they raised the subscription from £9.99 to £14.99 a month. Going through the leaving process they offered me a deal to stay on. The deal was 60 days free access and then the rest of my subscription would be £12.99 a month. So yes, i got the 60 days free but then they decide to sucker punch me. On the 13th February 2026 they took £1.07 from my account and then on the 15th February they took £14.99 from my account. So not only did they welch on their deal with me, they decided to take an extra £1.07 from me above the monthly subscription charge. I emailed them about this and they don’t even have the decency to reply to it. What a great company eh? Just goes to show that you cannot trust anything this company tells you. Good riddance to them.

Lagging behind competitors

Adobe has always been the best on the market for decades. That's no longer the case. It doesn't offer me a full range of tools, and its tools aren't always the best on the market. Sometimes I have to resort to smaller, more specialized programs.

NEVER SUBSCRIBE TO ADOBE

NEVER SUBSCRIBE TO ADOBE. DON'T DO IT. They make their money by locking people into extremely expensive year-long subscriptions after offering free trials for their services. It's a slimy scamming tactic they have taken pride in using for years. When I call their customer service number, the robot tells me "Thanks for using Adobe. Goodbye." AND THEN HANGS UP THE PHONE. THERE IS LITERALLY NO WAY TO REACH THEM. Words cannot describe my utter disgust for this company. Literally no one has ever liked them
