Really poor customer service online. I ordered school shorts in the summer holidays that I did not receive. They have only partially refunded me for half the amount. They do not respond to their emails. Better off going into the store. Avoid ordering online.

Awful shop in Canton. Poor customer service, refuse to refund and give credit notes. Now order on line so I can get refund, (1 week ago) no email to say items are ready, visit store and they say it’s still not ready, so I ask if the items are in the big basket on sale full of the tops I ordered. They reluctantly give me my items with a grunt. Had to endure them for 7 years and now should never have to use them again.

Awful company, scammers. They provide poor credit note for returns which only one year … thrives
The problem with our schools who only deal with them. School uniforms can be purchased once … how the credit can go expired… scammers and thieves from hard working parents.

Shame on our schools to keep to deal with such scammers.

Visited the Crwys Road store today to buy a tennis racquet. It was refreshing to find a sports shop that offers a wide range of all types of sports equipment and a restringing service too.
We were served by Jarred who was amazing! He was so helpful and provided guidance on the grip size and weight. He went out of his way to make sure we were happy with our purchase.
After reading so many negative reviews about this store I thought it important to share our very positive experience.
Jarred is a real asset to the store and we will definitely return.

😡🤮 worse shope ever. Shame that most schools in Cardiff are dealing with this only supply for student uniforms. I have ordered school kits since July and still waiting for my son order. Staff are terrible

Excellent online retailer with reasonable prices and prompt delivery. Most significantly, Misha, Akiyon, and Katrina provide exceptional customer service. I had to exchange my 88S for an 88D Tour, and the team were quite helpful. I strongly recommend this store!

I met wonderful staff today, one of the staff member's name who helped me today was Sarah. She has helped me with two of my children to get uniform and it's in a suitable size, the condition is up to standard too. She is also a really nice lady too, really kind and helpful. I will be visiting again, thank you staff, thank you Sarah.

Third time I have ordered online with YC SPORTS.

Firstly 2 badminton rackets (valued at £165 each), secondly another racket (valued at £165) and most recently badminton socks (valued at £22).

Each time the items that were delivered were as advertised and within the time parameters agreed.

All good and would certainly recommend, with courteous and prompt customer service when contacted.

Having to set up a PayPal account to pay for the items was the only downside for me.

Terrible Service - Refuse to refund or replace obviously faulty products. Kids tennis racket purchased for birthday gift has snapped strings after only after less than 4 hours of use. The reason is apparently that he is using it for tennis and that strings are consumable parts! His last racket has lasted for more than four years!

Poor quality schoolwear, rude, arrogant staff and shocking customer service, even when the goods purchased are faulty. They have a monopoly on Cardiff schools uniform so can do whatever they want!

Bad service still waiting for school jumpers it’s been 4 weeks and just been told wait another 4 weeks also been chasing up a refund that was ment to happen over 2 weeks ago still nothing sort yourselves out happy to take our money I wish I didn’t have to shop here but can’t get them anywhere else

Great customer service from a young woman (from Poland). As with many other reviewers, we have to buy uniform from this supplier so I was expecting poor service. I was also wary as so many of the staff are very young. However, I was pleasantly surprised with the attention and service we received. We arrived in store after school in late July and the staff were so helpful. Great team spirit among them. As we were unable to try items on and this was my daughters first high school uniform, staff brought out several items and sizes for us to see. She gave advice as to sizing and returned to the stock area many times for further items. She was well informed with the schools uniform rules and ensured we had each item required. I wish I had taken the staff members name for a commendation.
At the till, staff were also helpful in choosing uniform ties and socks and a blazer size that was unavailable was ordered for us.
Pretty painless experience!

Having read some of the other reviews I am surprised by some of the negative comments, however I fully understand people having opinions.
I can only comment on my recent experience when buying some new Badminton shoes, Despite the original error of the wrong size shoes being sent, the second error my in fact was entirely my own. I eventually had to return 2 times to then receive my third and correct size of shoe.
In terms of communication it was quick, efficient and helpful.

I would certainly use this company again for any future needs.

Awful shop with the worst customer service you can imagine!Extremely rude manager who took no responsibility after they ruined the lettering on my sons football shirt!avoid at all costs.

Awful quality of school jumpers. Bobbled within 2 weeks, rubbish cheap looking. 12 quid for a piece of tat that has to be replaced due to the material being so cheap and thin. Forced to buy from there as there is no other option. Will be writing to trading standards.

Forced to go there for school uniforms. FIFO customer service (fit in or ... off). Expect no customer service, you are forced here and they know it. Somewhere so appalling could not stay open otherwise. Hopefully the new legislation on cheaper uniforms in Wales will loosen their grip on this market, and end in them failing. As a captive customer, knowing they will bend me over every time (and I will have to take it) I hope their business fails.

The staff were really helpful and made purchasing uniform a lot easier than I thought it would be!

Warm, friendly and helpful staff members, great knowledge of products and always willing to help.

Excellent selection of racket sports equipment and quality restringing service. Took my racket in to be restrung and was ready the next day! Even had the choice of which top of the range string to have in it!

Went in to buy school uniform and staff were brilliant, made the experience quick and easy. Also bought netball trainers and they had a huge selection and were very helpful! Would definitely recommend to others
