Adventhealth increases my risk of identity thief.

Adventhealth says it needs me to give them a copy of my government issued ID so they can protect me from Identity fraud. My risk of being hacked stays the same if I use them or not. My risk only increases when I share my government issued information with them.

WORKPLACE VIOLENCE AND RACISM

WORKPLACE VIOLENCE AND RACISM. My friend was attacked at work by a white male nurse named Mark Stim. Adventhealth including the unit manager and human resources never investigated the attack reported by my friend, they let Mark Stim continues to work and he still employed by Adventhealth. When my friends contacted them, Adventhealth lied about the whereabout of Mark Stim. Even though Mark Stim was gloating about how proud he was to attack my friend, still Adventhealth did not take any actions against Mark Stim because he is white. Meanwhile, my friend has not been able to work due to the physical injuries constant pain and now she is suffering from post-traumatic stress and unable to sleep. I am afraid she will kill herself because, even though she is the victim, no one has done anything to help her. The so called doctor Burkhart Bradd told my friend she will have to live with the pain caused by the injury. If you are a person of color looking for work STAY FAR AWAY FROM THAT WICKED PLACE. Because if they hire you, it's only to gang up against you just as they did to my friend. Adventhealth lures people of color into their neo-Nazi and white supremacist organization just so they can eradicate them one at a time.

This company scammed me and threatened…

This company scammed me and threatened me to sign up for their services. While traveling to Denver, I experienced mountain sickness that persisted even after a week in the city, so I decided to visit AdventHealth ER & Urgent Care Meridian on February 8 to have my blood pressure checked. Upon arrival, I was informed that Urgent Care was closing soon and they would take me to the ER instead. When I inquired about the cost, they assured me it would be a maximum of $500. All they did was check my vitals and administer IV medication to alleviate my headache and nausea. During this time, they asked if I had recently felt depressed or had negative thoughts. I said yes, because I had recently lost my job and had been feeling quite depressed for the last few months. They then insisted on transferring me to another mental ER, suspecting that I might harm myself due to depression. I clarified that I had never harbored such thoughts and was merely feeling sad. However, they threatened that if I refused to go with them, they would call the police and have me arrested, which I later discovered was untrue. They exploited my anxious and scared state to coerce me into signing up for another treatment. They assured me that the mental ER would merely confirm that I was mentally stable and then release me. Even the staff admitted they believed I was fine and wouldn't harm myself but insisted on proceeding. They forcibly placed me in an ambulance (despite my recent job loss and inability to afford another ER visit or ambulance service) and transported me to the mental facility. There, they confiscated my clothes and belongings, including my cell phone, preventing any contact with the outside world, and locked me in a cell. I was essentially arrested for feeling sad. I was later informed that no doctor was available to evaluate me, so I would have to spend the night. It was impossible to sleep due to the presence of severely mentally ill individuals screaming throughout the night. When a doctor finally arrived in the morning, they conducted an evaluation and confirmed I was fine to go home. Later, they sent me a bill for $20,681.90 for the first ER visit and $19,691.41 for the night in the mental facility. After insurance, I was still expected to pay $4,876.58, plus more than a thousand for the ambulance, and additional bills for ER physicians, despite their initial promise of a $500 maximum charge.

After I contacted WeCare adventhealth.com they said if you signed papers(they don't card that I was under pressure and intimidated) then it's your problem. When I asked for breakdown of the bill (Emergency Room-General - $17.124.42) that was charged twice they said it's their standard price and now they just ignoring my questions.

Never trust these people with your health; they will only attempt to scam you into unnecessary services to extract more money from you. This company is a scam that cares only about profit. I am currently consulting with a lawyer to sue them for the emotional damage they inflicted on me.

Advent cares about money and not the doctors that work for them. Very sad how they treat wonderful providers. They want doctors to see too many patients per hour and when a doctor refuses to overbook they let the doctor go. Shame on you Advent health.

Advent Health deceptive practice

Advent Health has a practice of concealing prices, leading a patient on then sending out bills weeks, even months later. This happened to us last year and again this year for a test several months ago. These people are crooks, that's the best description to give them.

I do not recommend using any Advent Health facility for any type of tests. They are charging me for something my insurance paid for and refuse to back down and want several hundreds of dollars that I simply do not owe. I've tried many times to speak with them and they just change their story and are basically saying I'm lying about what the doctor said to me about a mistake on their end. I've made several attempts to rectify this situation and have been treated horribly and with zero care or recognition of the details that I am providing. The management of the billing and customer service department have not treated me with respect and have not listened to me at all. They also say they tried to contact me but I've not received a message from them ever. If you call someone, leave a message!

Unsatisfied patient

Hello, I have nothing pleasant to say at this moment about AdventHealth. I have been since the 14th of August trying to reach Amya at extension 1471. I’ve left a message on Monday at 9:35 AM and I also left another message at 2:53 PM today. This is in regards to a medical bill that I did not get service for in April 2023. I have been dealing with AdventHealth regarding my bills since February 2023. I need to get this resolved ASAP. Otherwise AdventHealth is notorious to send someone to collections. I don’t need my credit report tainted for something that I am not responsible for. I’m willing to speak to someone to have this resolved. Thank you!
