one day could`t login in to my account. Contacted Adverts.ie by email numerous times still no reply or explanation to this day. i DO NOT recommend this website !
Scammers
Scammers, I was forced by the admin to delete the "Adverts" account because I can't use it, it's blocked, very bad customer service, I don't recommend, after 14 years I'm closing the account, shame adverts
negative feedback was removed
I got scammed by a buyer, it was my own stupidity to post without tracking based on user reviews.
I left negative feedback with was removed. I complained to Adverts and recieved no response.
It's ok if you have trained yourself to…
It's ok if you have trained yourself to spot the rip-off merchants. Don't buy anything you see labelled as a gift or won in a prize. Pay for items only with valid receipts and meet in person. It is now common in the desktop computer section across the country to see old technology stuffed inside a shiny new case with lights on it. Most of these pc's come from computer repair shops that collect scraps from customers and make pc's out of them. Have a go yourselves and ask for receipts for parts and see where it gets you. You will be lucky if you get a few months out of your purchase.
Site that allows scammers
As other reviews that I see too late have said, scammers thrive on this site. Sent payment to someone, my child's pocket money for something they saved ages for I might add, and she denied receiving the payment despite my bank saying it went through. The user is then allowed to block me so I can't leave feedback about the experience? I found the seller on Facebook so will be going to the gardai but don't buy on this site, there is no buyer protection whatsoever
Adverts allows scammers to thrive
Adverts allows scammers to thrive. I have been using Adverts for 10 years but lately they allow scammers to create accounts and they do not help you at all to avoid them or when something goes wrong to compensate you. We will move away from it.
Excellent website and it's free
Excellent website and it's free. How can you possibly complain about this. Try selling stuff in an auction and see how much money they take off you. Ignore all the idiotic reviews that are negative because someone met a seller or buyer that wasn't nice. How the hell is this the websites fault. They do a great service that is free for basic listings. No one else does this apart from done deal.
The site has a problem in the Tech…
The site has a problem in the Tech sections with Eastern European repair shops hogging all the ad space with bits of old scrap. They need to start charging to place ads. One guy in Cork has been running the same ads for years. Over 369 ads and several other now banned accounts later he is still there. Also is running other accounts with scrap bits of technology. Despite being reported repeatedly he is till there laughing at the site as they get destroyed. Yes it's audiorepairs in Cork.

Be careful with Adverts.ie,
Be careful with Adverts.ie,
Adverts.ie blocks accounts without reason and does not respond to emails or reminders. Therefore, I would like to share my experience with you now to make you aware of their poor service and to warn others.
Absolutely awful customer service
Absolutely awful customer service. Arrogant and unhelpful, especially Eddie. How they can get away with this is beyond me. What are they being paid for?
A Positive Experience to Date
I have been using this website for over six years and I’ve never had a problem, save for some malicious feedback which Adverts quickly removed. The feedback system has always been a good indicator of who to deal with and who not to deal with. When paying in advance for something, always remember the old adage: if it looks too good to be true, it usually is. It’s been a positive experience to date.
Happy Xmas to the staff who made this…
Happy Xmas to the staff who made this site dead and untrustworthy. Happy Xmas to the scamming repair shops and scammers allowed to run rampant. Well done for destroying a once trusted service! Bring back the likes of Tallus and Eddie to clean this mess up.

Everytime when i verify my account on adverts they just block me for no reason.
won't allow you to delete
Now the app won't allow you to delete old notifications. It also doesn't do live notifications and you have to log out of the app and go back in to see new notifications. Worse it's getting.
Been using this site for many yrs and…
Been using this site for many yrs and never had any problems. The positive/negative rating system works well, and buyers know who they can trust and vice-versa. There is a solid community of reliable sellers & buyers.
There help desk is awful
There help desk is awful. Takes 1 day to respond. Then next day to respond again. Terrible
Account has been hacked
Account has been hacked. I was getting notifications for offers accepted on various items. I haven't used the app in months.
Contacted customer care. But my email for account is not recognised. They have taken over my account and adverts don't seem to be able to do anything
